< Nnwom 20 >
1 Dawid dwom. Awurade ntie wo wɔ wʼahohia mu; Yakob Nyankopɔn din mmɔ wo ho ban.
The LORD hear you in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
2 Ɔmfa mmoa mfi kronkronbea hɔ mmrɛ wo, na omfi Sion mmɛhyɛ wo den.
Send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion;
3 Ɔnkae wʼafɔrebɔ nyinaa, na ɔmma wo hyew afɔre nsɔ nʼani.
Remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice; (Selah)
4 Ɔmma wo nea wo koma pɛ, na wo nhyehyɛe nyinaa nyɛ yiye.
Grant you according to your own heart, and fulfill all your counsel.
5 Yɛbɛbɔ ose bere a woadi nkonim, na yɛama yɛn frankaa so wɔ yɛn Nyankopɔn din mu. Awurade nyɛ wʼabisade nyinaa mma wo.
We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfill all your petitions.
6 Afei mahu sɛ Awurade ma nea wasra no no nkonimdi, ofi ne kronkronbea wɔ ɔsoro gye no so, ɔde ne nkonimdi tumi a ɛwɔ ne nsa nifa mu no.
Now know I that the LORD saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Ebinom de wɔn ho to wɔn nteaseɛnam so na afoforo nso, wɔn apɔnkɔ so, nanso yɛn de, yɛde yɛn ho to Awurade yɛn Nyankopɔn din so.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
8 Wɔbrɛ wɔn ase ma wɔhwehwe ase, na yɛn de, yɛsɔre gyina kirebenn.
They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Awurade, ma ɔhene nkonimdi! Yɛfrɛ a, gye yɛn so! Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo.
Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
