< Nnwom 19 >
1 Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Dawid dwom. Ɔsoro ka Onyankopɔn anuonyam! Wim pae mu ka ne nsa ano adwuma,
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The heauens declare the glory of God, and the firmament sheweth ye worke of his hands.
2 Da biara, wɔkasa; anadwo biara, wɔda nimdeɛ adi.
Day vnto day vttereth the same, and night vnto night teacheth knowledge.
3 Wonni ɔkasa, wɔnnka nsɛm; wɔnnte wɔn nne.
There is no speach nor language, where their voyce is not heard.
4 Wɔn nne akodu asase so mmaa nyinaa, na wɔn nsɛm nso akodu asase ano. Onyankopɔn asi ntamadan ama owia wɔ ɔsoro hɔ.
Their line is gone forth through all the earth, and their words into the endes of the world: in them hath he set a tabernacle for the sunne.
5 Ɛte sɛ ayeforokunu a ofi ne pia mu, te sɛ ɔbran a ne ho pere no sɛ obetu ne mmirika.
Which commeth forth as a bridegrome out of his chamber, and reioyceth like a mightie man to runne his race.
6 Epue wɔ ɔsoro fa baabi na atwa ne ho akosi ano; biribiara nsiw ne hyew ho kwan.
His going out is from the ende of the heauen, and his compasse is vnto the endes of ye same, and none is hid from the heate thereof.
7 Awurade mmara yɛ pɛ, ɛkanyan ɔkra no. Ahotoso wɔ Awurade nhyehyɛe mu, ɛma nea onnim nyansa hu nyansa.
The Lawe of the Lord is perfite, conuerting the soule: the testimonie of the Lord is sure, and giueth wisedome vnto the simple.
8 Awurade ahyɛde teɛ; ɛma koma mu anigye. Awurade ɔhyɛ nsɛm mu da hɔ; na ebue ani.
The statutes of the Lord are right and reioyce the heart: the commandement of the Lord is pure, and giueth light vnto the eyes.
9 Awurade suro yɛ kronkron, ɛte hɔ daa. Awurade mmara nsɛm yɛ nokware na ne nyinaa teɛ.
The feare of the Lord is cleane, and indureth for euer: the iudgements of the Lord are trueth: they are righteous altogether,
10 Ɛsom bo sen sikakɔkɔɔ ɛsen sikakɔkɔɔ kann; ɛyɛ dɛ sen ɛwo, ɛsen ɛwo a efi ɛwokyɛm mu.
And more to be desired then golde, yea, then much fine golde: sweeter also then honie and the honie combe.
11 Wɔnam so bɔ wo somfo kɔkɔ se, sodi so akatua yɛ bebree.
Moreouer by them is thy seruant made circumspect, and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Hena na ohu nʼankasa mfomso? Fa me mfomso a ahintaw kyɛ me.
Who can vnderstand his faultes? clense me from secret fautes.
13 Bɔ wʼakoa ho ban fi ɔboayɛ bɔne ho, na anhyɛ me so. Ɛno na ɛbɛma madi bem, a merenni fɔ wɔ bɔne akɛse ho.
Keepe thy seruant also from presumptuous sinnes: let them not reigne ouer me: so shall I be vpright, and made cleane from much wickednes.
14 Ma mʼanom nsɛm ne me koma mu adwene nyɛ nea ɛsɔ wʼani, Awurade me Botan ne me Gyefo.
Let the wordes of my mouth, and the meditation of mine heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
