1 Dawid dwom. Awurade, hena na ɔbɛtena wo kronkronbea ntamadan no mu? Hena na ɔbɛtena wo bepɔw kronkron no so?
A psalm of David. Lord, who can be guest in your tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?
2 Nea ne ho nni asɛm na ɔyɛ nea ɛteɛ, nea ɔka nokware a efi ne koma mu
The person whose walk is blameless, whose conduct is right, whose words are true and sincere;
3 na ɔmfa ne tɛkrɛma nsɛe nnipa nea ɔnyɛ ne yɔnko bɔne na ommu ne yɔnko nipa abomfiaa,
on whose tongue there sits no slander, who will not harm a friend,
4 nea obu afideyɛni animtiaa na ɔde nidi ma wɔn a wosuro Awurade, nea odi ne ntam so, bere a etia no mpo,
nor cruelly insult a neighbor, who regards with contempt those rejected by God; but honors those who obey the Lord, who keeps an oath, whatever the cost,
5 nea ɔde ne sika bɔ bosea a onnye nsiho na onnye adanmude ntia nea odi bem. Nea ɔyɛ eyinom no renhinhim da.
whose money is lent without interest, and never takes a bribe to hurt the innocent. The person who does these things will always stand firm.
