1 Monkamfo Awurade! Monkamfo Awurade mfi ɔsorosoro, monkamfo no wɔ ɔsoro sorɔnsorɔmmea.

Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise you the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the highest.

2 Nʼabɔfo nyinaa, monkamfo no, ne ɔsoro asafo nyinaa, monkamfo no.

Praise you him, all his angels: praise you him, all his hosts.

3 Owia ne ɔsram, monkamfo no, nsoromma a ɛhyerɛn nyinaa, monkamfo no.

Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you stars and light.

4 Monkamfo no, ɔsoro mu soro ne mo nsu a mowɔ ɔsoro atifi.

Praise him, you heavens of heavens, and the water that is above the heavens.

5 Momma wɔn nyinaa nkamfo Awurade din, efisɛ ɔno na ɔhyɛ ma wɔbɔɔ wɔn.

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he spoke, and they were made; he commanded, and they were created.

6 Ɔde wɔn sisii hɔ afebɔɔ; na ɔmaa ɔhyɛ nsɛm bi a ɛrentwa mu da.

He has established them for ever, even for ever and ever: he has made an ordinance, and it shall not pass away.

7 Monkamfo Awurade mfi asase so, mo po kɛse mu abɔde ne po bun nyinaa,

Praise the Lord from the earth, you serpents, and all deeps.

8 anyinam ne mparuwbo, sukyerɛmma ne omununkum, ahum a moyɛ nʼapɛde,

Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy wind; the things that perform his word.

9 mo mmepɔw ne nkoko nyinaa, nnua a ɛsow aba ne sida nyinaa,

Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

10 nwura mu mmoa ne anantwi, abɔde nketewa ne nnomaa a wotu,

wild beasts, and all cattle; reptiles, and winged birds:

11 asase ne amanaman nyinaa so ahemfo, mo mmapɔmma ne asase sodifo nyinaa,

kings of the earth, and all peoples; princes, and all judges of the earth:

12 mmerante ne mmabaa, mmasiriwa ne mmofra nso.

young men and virgins, old men with youths:

13 Ma wɔnkamfo Awurade din, na ne din so sen din biara; nʼanuonyam korɔn wɔ asase ne ɔsoro so.

let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name only is exalted; his praise is above the earth and heaven,

14 Wapagyaw mmɛn bi ama ne nkurɔfo, nʼahotewfo nyinaa nkamfo; Israelfo, nnipa a wɔda ne koma so no nkamfo. Monkamfo Awurade.

and he shall exalt the horn of his people, [there is] a hymn for all his saints, [even] of the children of Israel, a people who draw near to him.
