1 Ayeyi dwom. Dawid de. Mɛma wo so, me Nyankopɔn, Ɔhenkɛse; mɛkamfo wo din daa daa.
My God and King, I will proclaim that you are very great/glorious; I will praise you [MTY] now and forever.
2 Da biara, mɛkamfo wo; na mama wo din so daa daa.
Every day I will praise you; [Yes], I will praise you [MTY] forever.
3 Awurade so, na ɔsɛ nkamfo kɛse; obiara ntumi nsusuw ne kɛseyɛ.
Yahweh you are great, and (you ought to be praised/people should praise you) very much; [we] cannot fully realize how great you are.
4 Awo ntoatoaso baako bɛkamfo wo nnwuma akyerɛ afoforo; wɔbɛka wo nnwuma akɛse ho asɛm.
Parents should tell their children the things that you have done; they should tell their children about your mighty deeds.
5 Wɔbɛka wʼanuonyam ne wo tumi a ɛheran no ho asɛm, na mɛdwene wʼanwonwadwuma ho.
They should tell them that you are very glorious and majestic [DOU], and I will (meditate on/think about) [all] your wonderful deeds.
6 Wɔbɛka wo nnwuma a ɛyɛ hu no mu tumi ho asɛm; na mapae mu aka wo nneyɛe akɛse no akyerɛ.
People will speak about your powerful and awesome deeds, and I will proclaim that you are [very] great.
7 Wɔbɛhyɛ wo papayɛ mmoroso no ho fa, na wɔde anigye ato wo trenee ho dwom.
People will remember and proclaim that you are very good [to us], and they will sing joyfully that you [always act] justly/fairly.
8 Awurade yɛ ɔdomfo ne mmɔborɔhunufo; ne bo kyɛ fuw na nʼadɔe dɔɔso.
Yahweh, you [are] kind and merciful [to us]; you do not quickly become angry; you faithfully love [us] very much.
9 Awurade ye ma obiara; na ɔwɔ ahummɔbɔ ma nʼabɔde nyinaa.
Yahweh, you are good to everyone, and you are merciful to everything that you have made.
10 Awurade, wʼabɔde nyinaa bɛkamfo wo; na wʼahotefo bɛma wo so.
Yahweh, [all] the creatures that you [made] will thank you, and all your people will praise you.
11 Wɔbɛka wʼahenni no anuonyam ho asɛm na wɔaka wo mmaninyɛ ho asɛm,
They will tell [others] that you rule gloriously as [our] king and that you are [very] powerful.
12 sɛ ɛbɛyɛ a nnipa behu wo nnwuma akɛse ne wʼahenni anuonyam a ɛheran no.
[They will do that] in order that everyone will know about your powerful deeds and that you rule [over us] gloriously.
13 Wʼahenni yɛ daa ahenni, na wo tumidi wɔ hɔ ma awo ntoantoaso nyinaa. Awurade di ne bɔhyɛ nyinaa so, na ɔwɔ ɔdɔ ma biribiara a wayɛ.
You will never stop being king; you [will] rule (throughout all generations/forever). Yahweh, you faithfully do all that you have promised to do, and all that you do, you do mercifully.
14 Awurade wowaw wɔn a wɔhwe ase na ɔpagyaw wɔn a wɔn nnesoa ama wɔakom.
Yahweh, you help all those who are discouraged and you lift up all those who (stumble and fall down/are distressed).
15 Aniwa nyinaa hwɛ wo kwan, na woma wɔn, wɔn aduan wɔ ne bere mu.
All of the creatures that you made expect that you [will provide food for them], and you give them food when they need it.
16 Wubue wo nsam, na woma biribiara a ɛwɔ nkwa no nʼapɛde.
You give food to all living creatures generously [IDM], and you cause them to (be satisfied/have all the food that they need).
17 Awurade teɛ wɔ nʼakwan nyinaa mu; na ɔyɛ adɔe ma nea wayɛ nyinaa.
Everything that Yahweh does, he does justly/fairly, and all that he does, he does mercifully.
18 Awurade bɛn wɔn a wɔfrɛ no nyinaa, wɔn a wɔfrɛ no nokware mu nyinaa.
Yahweh (comes near to/is ready to help) all those who call out to him, to those who call to him sincerely.
19 Ɔyɛ wɔn a wosuro no no apɛde ma wɔn; otie wɔn sufrɛ na ogye wɔn.
To all those who revere him, he gives them what they need. He hears them when they cry out to him, and saves/rescues them.
20 Awurade hwɛ wɔn a wɔdɔ no no nyinaa so, nanso amumɔyɛfo de, ɔbɛsɛe wɔn nyinaa.
Yahweh protects all those who love him, but he will get rid of all the wicked [people].
21 Mʼano bɛkamfo Awurade. Ma abɔde nyinaa nkamfo ne din kronkron no daa daa.
I [SYN] will always praise Yahweh; [He is] holy; and I wish/hope that everyone will praise him [MTY] forever.
