< Nnwom 14 >
1 Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo no. Dawid dwom. Ɔkwasea ka wɔ ne koma mu se, “Onyankopɔn bi nni hɔ.” Wɔaporɔw, na wɔn nneyɛe yɛ fi na wɔn mu biara nni hɔ a ɔyɛ ade pa.
For the Chief Musician. By David. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable deeds. There is no one who does good.
2 Awurade fi ɔsoro hwɛ adesamma wɔ fam sɛ obehu wɔn mu bi a wɔwɔ ntease, anaa ebinom a wɔhwehwɛ Onyankopɔn.
The LORD looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.
3 Nanso nnipa nyinaa atwe wɔn ho afi Onyankopɔn ho; wɔn nyinaa ayɛ bɔne. Obiara nni hɔ a ɔyɛ papa. Ɔbaako mpo nni hɔ.
They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.
4 Enti abɔnefo rensua nyansa ana? Wɔwe me nkurɔfo te sɛnea nnipa di aduan. Wonnsu mfrɛ Awurade?
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on the LORD?
5 Nanso wonni, ehu akyekyere wɔn, efisɛ Onyankopɔn te wɔn a wɔteɛ mu.
There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6 Mo nnebɔneyɛfo sɛe ahiafo nhyehyɛe, nanso, Awurade ne wɔn guankɔbea.
You frustrate the plan of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
7 Ao, Israel nkwagye mfi Sion mmra! Awurade bɛsan de ne nkurɔfo agyapade ama wɔn. Na Yakob adi ahurusi, na Israel ani agye!
Oh that the salvation [yeshuat] of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
