1 Monna Awurade ase na oye.

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good.

2 Monna anyame mu Nyankopɔn no ase.

Give thanks to the God of gods.

3 Monna awuranom mu Awurade no ase.

Give thanks to the Lord of lords.

4 Ɔno nko ara na ɔyɛ anwonwade akɛse.

He alone does great wonders.

5 Ɔno na ofi ne ntease mu bɔɔ ɔsoro.

By His insight He made the heavens.

6 Ɔno na ɔtrɛw asase mu de kataa nsu so.

He spread out the earth upon the waters.

7 Ɔno na ɔbɔɔ akanea akɛse no.

He made the great lights—

8 Ɔbɔɔ owia sɛ enni adekyee so.

the sun to rule the day,

9 Ɔbɔɔ sram ne nsoromma sɛ wonni adesae so no.

the moon and stars to govern the night.

10 Ɔno na okunkum Misraimfo mmakan,

He struck down the firstborn of Egypt

11 na oyii Israelfo fii wɔn mu no.

and brought Israel out from among them

12 Ɔde nsa kɛse ne basa a wateɛ mu.

with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm.

13 Ɔno na ɔpaee Po Kɔkɔɔ no mu no,

He divided the Red Sea in two

14 na ɔde Israelfo faa mfimfini no.

and led Israel through the midst,

15 Nanso ɔpraa Farao ne nʼasraafo guu Po Kɔkɔɔ mu no.

but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea.

16 Ɔno na odii ne nkurɔfo anim wɔ sare no so.

He led His people through the wilderness.

17 Ɔno na okum ahemfo akɛse no,

He struck down great kings

18 na okum ahemfo akunini no.

and slaughtered mighty kings—

19 Okum Amorifo hene, Sihon,

Sihon king of the Amorites

20 ne Basanhene, Og.

and Og king of Bashan—

21 Na ɔde wɔn nsase maa sɛ agyapade.

and He gave their land as an inheritance,

22 Ɔde maa ne somfo Israel sɛ agyapade.

a heritage to His servant Israel.

23 Ɔkaee yɛn, yɛn mmerɛwyɛ mu.

He remembered us in our low estate

24 Na ogyee yɛn fii yɛn atamfo nsam.

and freed us from our enemies.

25 Ɔno na ɔma abɔde biara aduan.

He gives food to every creature.

26 Monna ɔsorosoro Nyankopɔn no ase.
