1 Medɔ Awurade efisɛ, ɔtee me nne. Ɔtee me mmɔborɔsu.
I 'ahav ·affectionately love· Adonai, because he sh'ma ·hears obeys· my voice, and my cries for mercy.
2 Esiane sɛ ɔbrɛɛ nʼaso ase maa me nti, mɛfrɛ no wɔ bere a mete ase yi.
Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
3 Owu ahama bebaree me, ɔda ho yawdi baa me so, ɔhaw ne awerɛhow hyɛɛ me so. (Sheol h7585)
The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol ·Place of the dead· got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)
4 Afei mebɔɔ Awurade din kae se, “Awurade, gye me nkwa!”
Then I called on Adonai’s name: “Adonai, I beg you, deliver my soul.”
5 Awurade yɛ ɔdomfo ne ɔtreneeni; ayamhyehye ahyɛ yɛn Nyankopɔn ma.
Adonai is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is racham ·merciful love·.
6 Awurade bɔ ɔwɛmfo ho ban; bere a mewɔ ahohia mu no, ogyee me.
Adonai preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.
7 Nya abotɔyam bio, me kra, efisɛ Awurade ne wo adi no yiye.
Teshuvah ·Completely return· to your rest, my soul, for Adonai has dealt bountifully with you.
8 Na wo, Awurade, woagye me kra afi owu mu; woamma mʼani amporow nisu, na woamma mʼanan anhintiw
For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

I will walk before Adonai in the land of the living.
10 Migye dii; ɛno nti mekae se, “Mewɔ ahohia kɛse mu.”
I believed, therefore I said, “I was greatly afflicted.”
11 Na mʼahokyere mu mekae se, “Nnipa nyinaa yɛ atorofo.”
I said in my haste, “All men are liars.”
12 Dɛn na metumi de atua Awurade ka wɔ ne papa a wayɛ me nyinaa?
What will I give to Adonai for all his benefits toward me?
13 Mɛma nkwagye kuruwa no so na mabɔ Awurade din.
I will take the cup of yishu'ah ·salvation·, and call on Adonai’s name.
14 Medi bɔ a mahyɛ Awurade no nyinaa so wɔ ne nkurɔfo nyinaa anim.
I will pay my vows to Adonai, yes, in the presence of all his people.
15 Awurade nkoa nokwafo wu som bo wɔ Awurade ani so.
Precious in Adonai’s sight is the death of his saints.
16 Awurade, ampa ara meyɛ wo somfo; meyɛ wo somfo, wʼafenaa babarima; woayi me afi me mpokyerɛ mu.
Adonai, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your servant. You have freed me from my chains.
17 Mɛbɔ aseda afɔre ama wo na mabɔ Awurade din.
I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on Adonai’s name.

in the courts of Adonai’s house, in the middle of you, Jerusalem [City of peace]. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
