1 Ɔba nyansafo tie nʼagya nkyerɛkyerɛ; na ɔfɛwdifo ntie animka.
A son wise [the] discipline of a father and a mocker not he listens to a rebuke.

From [the] fruit of [the] mouth of a person he eats good thing[s] and [the] appetite of treacherous [people] [is] violence.
3 Nea ɔkora nʼano no kora ne nkwa so, nanso nea ɔkasa a onsusuw ho no bɛba ɔsɛe mu.

Righteousness it preserves integrity of way and wickedness it subverts sin.
7 Obi yɛ ne ho sɛ ɔdefo, a nso onni hwee, ɔfoforo yɛ ne ho sɛ ohiani, nso ɔwɔ ahonya bebree.
There [is one who] enriches himself and there not [is] anything [one who] impoverishes himself and wealth great.
8 Obi ahonya betumi agye no nkwa, nanso ohiani nte ahunahuna biara.
[the] ransom of [the] life of A person [is] wealth his and a poor [person] not he hears a threat.
9 Atreneefo kanea hyerɛn pa ara, nanso wodum amumɔyɛfo kanea.
[the] light of Righteous [people] it rejoices and [the] lamp of wicked [people] it is extinguished.

Every sensible [person] he acts with knowledge and a fool he spreads out foolishness.
17 Ɔsomafo mumɔyɛfo tɔ amane mu, nanso ɔnanmusini nokwafo de abodwo ba.
A messenger wicked he falls in trouble and an envoy of faithfulness [is] healing.
18 Nea ɔpo nteɛso no kɔ ohia ne animguase mu, na wɔhyɛ nea otie nteɛso no anuonyam.
Poverty and shame [one who] ignores discipline and [one who] keeps correction he is honored.
19 Akɔnnɔde a nsa aka ma ɔkra ani gye, nanso nkwaseafo kyi sɛ wɔtwe wɔn ho fi bɔne ho.
A desire done (is pleasing *LAH(b)*) to a person and [is] an abomination of fools to turn aside from evil.
20 Nea ɔne onyansafo nantew no hu nyansa, na nea ɔne nkwaseafo bɔ no hu amane.
([one who] walks *Q(K)*) With wise [people] (he will become wise *Q(K)*) and [one who] associates with fools he will be harmed.
21 Ɔhaw di ɔbɔnefo akyi, na nkɔso yɛ ɔtreneeni akatua.
Sinners it pursues calamity and righteous [people] it rewards good.
22 Onipa pa de agyapade gyaw ne nenanom, na wɔkora ɔbɔnefo ahonyade so ma ɔtreneeni.
A good [person] he leaves an inheritance to children of children and [is] stored up for the righteous [the] wealth of a sinner.
23 Ohiani afum nnɔbae tumi ba pii, nanso ntɛnkyew pra kɔ.
Abundance of food [the] unplowed ground of poor [people] and there [is what] is swept away in not justice.
24 Nea ɔkyɛe nʼabaa so no tan ne ba, na nea ɔdɔ no no hwɛ sɛ ɔbɛteɛ no.
[one who] restrains Rod his [is] hating son his and [one who] loves him he seeks early him discipline.
25 Atreneefo didi ma wɔn koma mee, nanso ɔkɔm de amumɔyɛfo.
A righteous [person] [is] eating to [the] satiety of appetite his and [the] belly of wicked [people] it is lacking.
