1 Eyi ne akwantu nhyehyɛe a Israelfo dii so bere a Mose ne Aaron de wɔn fi Misraim no.
These were the movements of the people of Israel after they left the land of Egypt by their armed groups under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.
2 Mose kyerɛw faako a wɔfaa nyinaa sɛnea Awurade kyerɛɛ no sɛ ɔnyɛ no. Eyinom ne mmeae ahorow a wɔsoɛɛ wɔ wɔn akwantu no mu.
Moses wrote down the places from where they left to where they went, as commanded by Yahweh. These were their movements, departure after departure.

They traveled from Rameses during the first month, leaving on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the morning after the Passover, the people of Israel left openly, in the sight of all the Egyptians.

They set out from Etham and turned back to Pi Hahiroth, which is opposite Baal Zephon, where they camped opposite Migdol.

Then they set out from opposite Pi Hahiroth and passed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They traveled three days' journey into the wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.

Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor at Yahweh's command and died there in the fortieth year after the people of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.

Aaron was a 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.

The Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the southern wilderness in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the people of Israel.

They set out from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
42 Wofii Salmona kɔtenaa Punon.
They set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.

They set out from Punon and camped at Oboth.

They set out from Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim, on the border of Moab.

They set out from Iye Abarim and camped at Dibon Gad.

They set out from Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.

They set out from Almon Diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim, opposite Nebo.
48 Akyiri no, wotutu fii hɔ twaa mu wɔ Yeriko kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Moab tataw so wɔ Asubɔnten Yordan ho.
They set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
49 Wɔwɔ saa beae hɔ no, wɔtenaa mmeae bebree a ɛbɛn Asubɔnten Yordan ho—efi Bet-Yesimot kosi Abel Sitim a ɛwɔ Moab tataw so no.
They camped by the Jordan, from Beth Jeshimoth to Abel Shittim in the plains of Moab.
50 Bere a wɔabɔ atenase wɔ hɔ no na Awurade nam Mose so kasa kyerɛɛ Israelfo no se,
Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho and said,
51 “Sɛ mutwa Asubɔnten Yordan kodu Kanaan asase so a,
“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, 'When you cross over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
52 mompam nnipa a wɔte hɔ no nyinaa na monsɛe wɔn abosom ne ahoni a wɔde abo ayɛ ne nsɔree a wɔasisi no petee mu wɔ mmepɔw so ne mmeae a wɔsom wɔn ahoni no nyinaa.
then you must drive out all the land's inhabitants before you. You must destroy all their carved figures. You must destroy all their cast figures and demolish all their high places.

You must take possession of the land and settle in it, because I have given you the land to possess.

You must inherit the land by lot, according to each clan. To the larger clans you must give a larger share of land, and to the smaller clans you must give a smaller share of land. Wherever the lot falls to each clan, that land will belong to it. You will inherit the land according to your ancestors' tribes.
55 “Sɛ moampam nnipa a wɔte hɔ no a, wɔbɛyɛ mo ani ase mpe ne mo honam mu nsɔe. Wɔbɛhaw mo wɔ asase a mobɛtena so no so.
But if you do not drive out the land's inhabitants before you, then the people you allow to stay will become like objects in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will make your lives difficult in the land where you settle.
56 Na mede nea masusuw sɛ mɛyɛ wɔn no, bɛyɛ mo.”
Then it will happen that what I now intend to do to those people, I will do also to you.'”
