1 Eyi ne akwantu nhyehyɛe a Israelfo dii so bere a Mose ne Aaron de wɔn fi Misraim no.
These are the lodging places of the sons of Israel, who departed from Egypt by their companies under the hand of Moses and Aaron,
2 Mose kyerɛw faako a wɔfaa nyinaa sɛnea Awurade kyerɛɛ no sɛ ɔnyɛ no. Eyinom ne mmeae ahorow a wɔsoɛɛ wɔ wɔn akwantu no mu.
which Moses wrote down according to the places of the encampments, which they changed upon the order of the Lord.
3 Wosii mu fii Rameses kuropɔn no mu wɔ Twam Afahyɛ a edi kan no akyi ɔsram edi kan da ɛto so dunum. Wɔde akokoduru fii hɔ a Misraimfo no rehwɛ wɔn.
Thus the sons of Israel set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, with an exalted hand, being seen by all the Egyptians.
4 Saa bere no na Misraimfo no resie wɔn mmakan a Awurade kunkum wɔn anadwo a ade rebɛkye ama wɔatu kwan no, efisɛ na Awurade de atemmu aba wɔn anyame no nyinaa so.
And these were burying their firstborn, whom the Lord had struck down (for so, too, did he carry out retribution against their gods).
5 Wofii Rameses no, wɔbɛbɔɔ atenae wɔ Sukot.
And they made camp at Soccoth.
6 Wofii Sukot bɛbɔɔ atenae wɔ Etam, sare no ano.
And from Soccoth they went to Etham, which is at the furthest limits of the wilderness.
7 Wofii Etam san wɔn akyi baa Pihahirot a ɛwɔ Baal-Sefon apuei fam, na wɔbɔɔ atenae bɛnee bepɔw Migdol.
Departing from there, they arrived opposite Pi-hahiroth, which looks out toward Baal-zephon, and they were encamped before Migdol.
8 Wofi Pihahirot, na wotwaa Po Kɔkɔɔ no kɔɔ sare so. Wɔde nnansa nantew faa Etam sare so kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Mara.
And setting out from Pi-hahiroth, they crossed through the middle of the Sea into the wilderness. And having walked for three days through the desert of Etham, they made camp at Marah.
9 Wofii Mara no, wɔbaa Elim; baabi a na mmura dumien ne mmedua aduɔson wɔ hɔ.
And setting out from Marah, they arrived at Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees. And they set up camp there.
10 Wofii Elim no, wɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Po Kɔkɔɔ no ho.
But departing from there also, they fixed their tents above the Red Sea. And setting out from the Red Sea,
11 Wofii Po Kɔkɔɔ no ho, kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Sin nweatam so.
they were encamped in the desert of Sin.
12 Wotu fii Sin sare so kɔbɔɔ atenae Dofka.
Departing from there, they went to Dophkah.
13 Wofii Dofka kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Alus.
And setting out from Dophkah, they made camp at Alush.
14 Wofii Alus kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Refidim, baabi a na wonnya nsu mma nnipa no nnom.
And departing from Alush, they fixed their tents at Rephidim, where the people lacked water to drink.
15 Wofii Refidim no, wɔkɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Sinai sare so.
And setting out from Rephidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.
16 Wofii Sinai sare so no, wɔkɔɔ atenae wɔ Kibrot-Hataawa.
But departing also from the wilderness of the Sinai, they arrived at the Graves of Lust.
17 Wofii Kibrot-Hataawa no, wɔkɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Haserot.
And setting out from the Graves of Lust, they were encamped at Hazeroth.
18 Wofii Haserot kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Ritma.
And from Hazeroth, they went to Rithmah.
19 Wofii Ritma kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Rimon Peres.
And setting out from Rithmah, they made camp at Rimmon-perez.
20 Wofii Rimon Peres kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Libna.
And departing from there, they arrived at Libnah.
21 Wofii Libna kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Risa.
From Libnah, they made camp at Rissah.
22 Wofii Risa kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Kahelata.
And departing from Rissah, they went to Kehelathah.
23 Wofii Kahelata kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Sefer Bepɔw so.
Setting out from there, they were encamped at mount Shepher.
24 Wofii Sefer Bepɔw so kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Harada.
Departing from mount Shepher, they went to Haradah.
25 Wofii Harada kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Makhelot.
Continuing on from there, they made camp at Makheloth.
26 Wofii Makhelot kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Tahat.
And setting out from Makheloth, they went to Tahath.
27 Wofii Tahat kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Tera.
From Tahath, they made camp at Terah.
28 Wofii Tera kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Mitka.
Departing from there, they pitched their tents at Mithkah.
29 Wofii Mitka kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Hasmona.
And from Mithkah, they were encamped at Hashmonah.
30 Wofii Hasmona kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Moserot.
And setting out from Hashmonah, they went to Moseroth.
31 Wofii Moserot kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Beneyaakan.
And from Moseroth, they made camp at Bene-jaakan.
32 Wofii Beneyaakan kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Horhagidgad.
And setting out from Bene-jaakan, they went to mount Gidgad.
33 Wofii Horhagidgad kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Yotbata.
Setting out from there, they were encamped at Jotbathah.
34 Wofii Yotbata kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Abrona.
And from Jotbathah, they went to Abronah.
35 Wofii Abrona kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Esion-Geber.
And departing from Abronah, they made camp at Eziongeber.
36 Wofii Esion-Geber kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Kades, wɔ Sin sare so.
Setting out from there, they went into the desert of Sin, which is Kadesh.
37 Wofii Kades kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Bepɔw Hor so, wɔ Edom hye ano.
And departing from Kadesh, they encamped at mount Hor, at the furthermost limits of the land of Edom.
38 Bere a woduu Bepɔw Hor ase no, Awurade ka kyerɛɛ ɔsɔfo Aaron se ɔnkɔ bepɔw no atifi, na ɛhɔ na okowui. Asɛm yi sii mfe aduanan so a Israelfo tu fii Misraim no.
And Aaron the priest ascended onto mount Hor, by the order of the Lord. And there he died, in the fortieth year of the departure of the sons of Israel from Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month,
39 Aaron dii mfe ɔha aduonu abiɛsa, bere a owuu wɔ Bepɔw Hor so no.
when he was one hundred twenty-three years old.
40 Saa bere no ara mu na Kanaanhene Arad a ɔtenaa Negeb wɔ Kanaan asase so no tee sɛ Israelfo no reba nʼasase so.
And king Arad the Canaanite, who lived toward the south, heard that the sons of Israel had arrived in the land of Canaan.
41 Israelfo no toaa wɔn akwantu no so fi Bepɔw Hor so kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Salmona.
And setting out from mount Hor, they made camp at Zalmonah.
42 Wofii Salmona kɔtenaa Punon.
Departing from there, they went to Punon.
43 Wofii Punon kɔtenaa Obot.
And setting out from Punon, they were encamped at Oboth.
44 Wɔtoaa so kɔɔ Iye-Abarim, Moab hye so kɔtenaa hɔ.
And from Oboth, they went to Iye-abarim, which is at the borders of the Moabites.
45 Wofii hɔ no, wɔkɔtenaa Dibon Gad.
And setting out from Iye-abarim, they fixed their tents at Dibon-gad.
46 Wofii Dibon Gad kɔtenaa Almon Diblataim.
Departing from there, they made camp at Almon-diblathaim.
47 Wofii Almon Diblataim kɔtenaa Abarim mmepɔw a ɛbɛn Nebo no so.
And departing from Almon-diblathaim, they went to the mountains of Abarim, opposite Nebo.
48 Akyiri no, wotutu fii hɔ twaa mu wɔ Yeriko kɔbɔɔ atenae wɔ Moab tataw so wɔ Asubɔnten Yordan ho.
And setting out from the mountains of Abarim, they crossed over to the plains of Moab, above the Jordan, opposite Jericho.
49 Wɔwɔ saa beae hɔ no, wɔtenaa mmeae bebree a ɛbɛn Asubɔnten Yordan ho—efi Bet-Yesimot kosi Abel Sitim a ɛwɔ Moab tataw so no.
And they made camp there, from Beth-jeshimoth all the way to Abel-shittim, in the level places of the Moabites,
50 Bere a wɔabɔ atenase wɔ hɔ no na Awurade nam Mose so kasa kyerɛɛ Israelfo no se,
where the Lord said to Moses:
51 “Sɛ mutwa Asubɔnten Yordan kodu Kanaan asase so a,
“Instruct the sons of Israel, and say to them: When you will have crossed over the Jordan, entering into the land of Canaan,
52 mompam nnipa a wɔte hɔ no nyinaa na monsɛe wɔn abosom ne ahoni a wɔde abo ayɛ ne nsɔree a wɔasisi no petee mu wɔ mmepɔw so ne mmeae a wɔsom wɔn ahoni no nyinaa.
destroy all the inhabitants of that land. Break their monuments, and shatter their statues, and lay waste to every exalted thing,
53 Mede asase no ama mo. Momfa na montena so.
cleansing the land and living in it. For I have given it you as a possession,
54 Munnyina ntontobɔ so nkyekyɛ asase no, sɛnea mo mmusua no te. Wɔn a wɔdɔɔso no, wɔbɛma wɔn asase kɛse na wɔn a wosua no nso benya asase ketewa. Sɛnea ntonto no besi abɔ biara no na ɛbɛyɛ wɔn de. Monhwɛ mo agyanom mmusua so mfa nkyekyɛ.
which you shall divide among you by lot. To the greater number you shall give more, and to the lesser number, less. To each one, just as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be distributed. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and families.
55 “Sɛ moampam nnipa a wɔte hɔ no a, wɔbɛyɛ mo ani ase mpe ne mo honam mu nsɔe. Wɔbɛhaw mo wɔ asase a mobɛtena so no so.
But if you are not willing to put to death the inhabitants of the land, those who remain shall be to you like spikes in your eyes and lances in your sides, and they shall be adversaries to you in the land of your habitation.
56 Na mede nea masusuw sɛ mɛyɛ wɔn no, bɛyɛ mo.”
And whatever I had decided to do to them, I will do to you.”
