< 4 Mose 17 >
1 Afei, Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose se,
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Ka kyerɛ Israelfo no na wɔnyɛ pema dumien, abusua biara panyin ntwa baako. Kyerɛw obiara din wɔ ne de ho.
“Speak to the children of Israel, and take rods from them, one for each fathers’ house, of all their princes according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods. Write each man’s name on his rod.
3 Aaron din na wɔbɛkyerɛw agu Lewi abusuakuw pema no ho, efisɛ ɛsɛ sɛ abusuapanyin biara nya pema baako.
You shall write Aaron’s name on Levi’s rod. There shall be one rod for each head of their fathers’ houses.
4 Momfa pema yi ngu Ahyiae Ntamadan no mu ahyiae mu wɔ baabi a mihyia mo wɔ adaka no anim hɔ no.
You shall lay them up in the Tent of Meeting before the covenant, where I meet with you.

It shall happen that the rod of the man whom I shall choose shall bud. I will make the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against you, cease from me.”
6 Enti Mose maa Israelfo no maa no pema dumien a wɔn abusua no biara panyin de wɔ mu a na Aaron ka de ka ho bi.
Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and all their princes gave him rods, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, a total of twelve rods. Aaron’s rod was among their rods.
7 Mose de guu Awurade anim wɔ Adanse Ntamadan no mu hɔ.
Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the Tent of the Testimony.
8 Ade kyee a ɔkɔɔ mu no, ohuu sɛ Aaron pema a ɛwɔ hɔ ma Lewi abusuakuw no afefɛw ayɛ frɔmm, asow aba a ɛsensɛn so.
On the next day, Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony; and behold, Aaron’s rod for the house of Levi had sprouted, budded, produced blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.
9 Na Mose de pema no fii Awurade anim ba bɛkyerɛɛ Israelfo no. Wɔhwɛe, na ɔpanyin biara faa ne pema.
Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD to all the children of Israel. They looked, and each man took his rod.
10 Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose se, “Fa Aaron pema no san kɔto adaka no anim na fa yɛ nsɛnkyerɛnne ma atuatewfo no. Eyi de anwiinwii a wonwiinwii tia me no bɛba awiei na wɔanwuwu.” Na ɛsɛ sɛ ɔde ba bɛkyerɛ nnipa no bio na sɛ anwiinwii bi wɔ hɔ a etia Aaron tumi a, ebesiw amanehunu foforo a anka ɛbɛba nnipa no so no ano.
The LORD said to Moses, “Put back the rod of Aaron before the covenant, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that you may make an end of their complaining against me, that they not die.”
11 Mose yɛɛ nea Awurade hyɛɛ no sɛ ɔnyɛ no pɛpɛɛpɛ.
Moses did so. As the LORD commanded him, so he did.
12 Israelfo no ka kyerɛɛ Mose se, “Yebewuwu! Yɛayera, yɛayera!
The children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, “Behold, we perish! We are undone! We are all undone!
13 Mpo, obiara a ɔbɛbɛn Awurade Ahyiae Ntamadan no bewu. Yɛn nyinaa rebewuwu ana?”
Everyone who keeps approaching the LORD’s tabernacle, dies! Will we all perish?”
