Nehemia 12
1 Saa nnipa yi ne asɔfo ne Lewifo a wɔne Sealtiel babarima Serubabel ne ɔsɔfopanyin Yesua san wɔn akyi no: Seraia, Yeremia, Ɛsra,
These also are the Priestes and the Leuites that went vp with Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel, and Ieshua: to wit, Seraiah, Ieremiah, Ezra,
2 Amaria, Maluk, Hatus,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 Sekania, Rehum, Meremot,
Shecaniah, Rehum, Merimoth,
4 Ido, Ginetoi, Abia,
Iddo, Ginnetho, Abiiah,
5 Miamin, Maadia, Bilga,
Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 Semaia, Yoiarib, Yedaia,
Shemaiah, and Ioiarib, Iedaiah,
7 Salu, Amok, Hilkia ne Yedaia. Yesua bere so no, na eyinom ne asɔfo ntuanofo ne wɔn mfɛfo.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiiah, Iedaiah: these were the chiefe of the Priests, and of their brethren in the dayes of Ieshua.
8 Lewifo a wɔne wɔn san wɔn akyi no ni: Yesua, Binui Kadmiel, Serebia, Yuda, Matania a na ɔne ne mfɛfo na na wɔhwɛ aseda nnwom so no.
And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.
9 Na sɛ wɔresom a, wɔn mfɛfo Bakbukia ne Uni sɔre gyina ne wɔn di nhwɛanim.
And Bakbukiah and Vnni, and their brethren were about them in the watches.
10 Ɔsɔfopanyin Yesua woo Yoiakim, Yoiakim woo Eliasib, Eliasib woo Yoiada,
And Ieshua begate Ioiakim: Ioiakim also begate Eliashib, and Eliashib begate Ioiada.
11 na Yoiada woo Yonatan, na Yonatan woo Yadua.
And Ioiada begate Ionathan, and Ionathan begate Iaddua,
12 Bere a Yoiakim yɛ ɔsɔfopanyin no, na asɔfo mmusua mu ntuanofo no ne: Meraia a otua Seraia abusua ano. Hanania a otua Yeremia abusua ano.
And in the daies of Ioiakim were these, the chiefe fathers of the Priests: vnder Seraiah was Meraiah, vnder Ieremiah, Hananiah,
13 Mesulam a otua Ɛsra abusua ano. Yehohanan a otua Amaria abusua ano.
Vnder Ezra, Meshullam, vnder Amariah, Iehohanan,
14 Yonatan a otua Maluki abusua ano. Yosef a otua Sebania abusua ano.
Vnder Melicu, Ionathan, vnder Shebaniah, Ioseph,
15 Adna a otua Harim abusua ano. Helkai a otua Meraiot abusua ano.
Vnder Harim, Adna, vnder Maraioth, Helkai,
16 Sakaria a otua Ido abusua ano. Mesulam a otua Gineton abusua ano.
Vnder Iddo, Zechariah, vnder Ginnithon, Meshullam,
17 Sikri a otua Abia abusua ano. Miniamin abusua nso na obi tua ano. Piltai tua Moadia abusua ano.
Vnder Abiiah, Zichri, vnder Miniamin, and vnder Moadiah, Piltai,
18 Samua a otua Bilga abusua ano. Yehonatan a otua Semaia abusua ano.
Vnder Bilgah, Shammua, vnder Shemaiah, Iehonathan,
19 Matenai a otua Yoiarib abusua ano. Usi a otua Yedaia abusua ano.
Vnder Ioiarib, Mattenai, vnder Iedaiah, Vzzi,
20 Kalai a otua Salai abusua ano. Eber a otua Amok abusua ano.
Vnder Sallai, Kallai, vnder Amok, Eber,
21 Hasabia a otua Hilkia abusua ano. Netanel a otua Yedaia abusua ano.
Vnder Hilkiah, Hashabiah, vnder Iedaiah, Nethaneel.
22 Persiahene Dario a ɔto so abien bere so no, wɔkyerɛw Lewifo ne asɔfo mmusua mu ntuanofo no nyinaa din wɔ saa asɔfo mpanyimfo yi bere so: Eliasib, Yoiada, Yohanan, ne Yadua.
In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.
23 Wɔkyerɛw Lewifo mmusua ntuanofo no din guu Abakɔsɛm Nhoma mu kosii Eliasib nena Yohanan bere so.
The sonnes of Leui, the chiefe fathers were written in the booke of the Chronicles euen vnto the dayes of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib.
24 Eyinom ne Lewifo mmusua ntuanofo: Hasabia, Serebia, Yesua, Binui, Kadmiel ne wɔn mfɛfo bi a sɛ edu ayeyi ne aseda afahyɛ so a, wogyina hɔ ne wɔn di nhwɛanim, na ɔfa gye ɔfa so wɔ nnwonto mu, sɛnea Dawid, Onyankopɔn nipa, kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ wɔnyɛ no.
And the chiefe of the Leuites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Ieshua the sonne of Kadmiel, and their brethren about them to giue prayse and thankes, according to the ordinance of Dauid the man of God, ward ouer against warde.
25 Na Matania, Bakbukia ne Obadia nso ka ho. Mesulam, Talmon ne Akub na wɔyɛ aponanohwɛfo a wɔhwɛ adekoradan a ɛwɔ apon no ano no so.
Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were porters keeping the warde at the thresholds of the gates.
26 Na eyinom nyinaa som wɔ Yesua babarima Yoiakim a ɔyɛ Yosadak nena ne Nehemia a ɔyɛ amrado ne Ɛsra a na ɔyɛ ɔsɔfo ne mmara no kyerɛkyerɛfo bere so.
These were in the dayes of Ioiakim, the sonne of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and in the dayes of Nehemiah the captaine, and of Ezra the Priest and scribe.
27 Bere a wɔredwira Yerusalem fasu foforo no, wɔka kyerɛɛ Lewifo a wɔwɔ asase no so nyinaa se, wɔmmra Yerusalem mmɛboa dwumadi no. Na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔde kyɛnkyɛn, mmɛnta ne asankuten to wɔn aseda nnwom de hyɛ anigye fa no.
And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thankesgiuings and with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.
28 Wɔde nnwontofo no fi Yerusalem ne ne nkuraa ne Netofafo nkuraa nyinaa bɔɔ mu bae.
Then the singers gathered themselues together both from the plaine countrey about Ierusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,
29 Ebi nso fi Bet-Gilgal ne Geba pɔw mu hɔ ne Asmawet, efisɛ na nnwontofo no ara akyekyere wɔn ankasa nkuraa afa Yerusalem ho ahyia.
And from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreis of Geba, and Azmaueth: for the singers had built them villages round about Ierusalem.
30 Asɔfo no ne Lewifo no dwiraa wɔn ho, afei wodwiraa ɔmanfo no, dwiraa apon no ne fasu no nso.
And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 Midii Yuda ntuanofo no anim kɔɔ ɔfasu no atifi, na meboaboaa nnwontofo akuw akɛse abien ano ma wɔbɛdaa ase. Nnwontofo kuw no mu baako kɔɔ anafo wɔ ɔfasu no atifi kosii Sumina Pon no.
And I brought vp the princes of Iudah vpon the wall, and appointed two great companies to giue thankes, and the one went on the right hand of the wall toward the dung gate.
32 Hosaia ne Yuda ntuanofo no mu fa dii wɔn akyi,
And after them went Hoshaiah, and halfe of the princes of Iudah,
33 na Asaria, Ɛsra, Mesulam,
And Azariah, Ezra and Meshullam,
34 Yuda, Benyamin, Semaia, Yeremia
Iudah, Beniamin, and Shemaiah, and Ieremiah,
35 ne asɔfo no bi a wɔhyɛn torobɛnto no dii wɔn akyi. Ɛno akyi na Yonatan babarima Sakaria, Semaia babarima, Matania babarima, Mikaia babarima, Sakur babarima a ɔyɛ Asaf aseni no di.
And of the Priests sonnes with trumpets, Zechariah the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zaccur, ye sonne of Asaph.
36 Ne korakora no, Sakaria mfɛfo a wɔne Semaia, Asarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Netanel, Yuda ne Hanani dii wɔn so. Wɔfaa nnwontode a Dawid a ɔyɛ Onyankopɔn nipa akyerɛ sɛ wɔmfa no. Na Ɛsra a ɔyɛ mmara no kyerɛkyerɛfo no na odii santen no anim.
And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Iudah, Hanani, with the musicall instruments of Dauid the man of God: and Ezra the scribe went before them.
37 Wɔfaa Asu Aniwa Pon no ho, kɔɔ tee kɔforoo kuropɔn no fasu antweri a ɛkyerɛ Dawid kuropɔn no. Wɔfaa Dawid fi ho, kosii Nsu Pon a ɛwɔ apuei fam no ho.
And to the gate of the fountaine, euen ouer against them went they vp by the staires of the citie of Dauid, at the going vp of the wall beyond the house of Dauid, euen vnto the water gate Eastward.
38 Nnwontofo a wɔto so abien no faa atifi kwan kohyiaa wɔn. Me ne ɔmanfo no mu fa dii wɔn akyi. Yɛfaa ɔfasu no so nam Fononoo Abantenten no ho kosii Ɔfasu Tɛtrɛɛ no,
And the seconde companie of them that gaue thankes, went on the other side, and I after them, and the halfe of the people was vpon the wall, and vpon the towre of the furnaces euen vnto the broad wall.
39 afei yetwaa Efraim Pon no ho, kosii Kuropɔn Dedaw Pon no, yɛfaa Mpataa Pon no ho, kosii Hananel Abantenten ho kɔɔ Ɔha Abantenten no ho. Yɛtoaa so kɔɔ Nguan Pon no ho, na yekogyinaa Ɔwɛn Pon no ano.
And vpon the gate of Ephraim, and vpon the olde gate, and vpon the fishgate, and the towre of Hananeel, and the towre of Meah, euen vnto the sheepegate: and they stood in the gate of the warde.
40 Nnwontokuw abien a na wɔreda ase no kɔɔ Awurade Asɔredan mu kɔtenatenaa ase. Me nso me ne akuw ntuanofo a na wɔka me ho no yɛɛ saa ara.
So stood the two companies (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me.
41 Yɛne asɔfo a na wɔhyɛn torobɛnto a wɔne Eliakim, Maaseia, Miniamin, Mikaia, Elioenai, Sakaria, Hanania
The Priests also, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
42 ne nnwontofo Maaseia, Semaia, Eleasar, Usi, Yehohanan, Malkia, Elam ne Eser na yɛbɔɔ mu kɔe. Wɔtoo nnwom a na dwonkyerɛfo Yisrahia rema wɔn akwankyerɛ.
And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Vzzi, and Iehohanan, and Malchiiah, and Elam, and Ezer: and the singers sang loude, hauing Izrahiah which was the ouerseer.
43 Saa anigye da no, wɔbɔɔ afɔre bebree, efisɛ na Onyankopɔn ayɛ biribi ama wɔn a enti ɛsɛ sɛ wɔma wɔn ani gye. Mmea ne mmofra nyinaa de wɔn ho hyɛɛ afahyɛ no mu, na ɔmanfo a wɔwɔ Yerusalem no osebɔ no duu akyirikyiri.
And the same day they offered great sacrifices and reioyced: for God had giuen them great ioy, so that both the women, and the children were ioyfull: and the ioy of Ierusalem was heard farre off.
44 Da no, woyii mmarima sɛ wɔnhwɛ adekoradan a wɔde akyɛde, otwakan ne ntotoso du du gu mu no so. Na ɛyɛ wɔn asɛde sɛ wokogyigye fi mfuw mu, sɛnea asɔfo ne Lewifo mmara kyerɛ no, efisɛ na asɔfo ne Lewifo ne wɔn dwumadi no ho hia Yudafo nyinaa yiye.
Also at the same time were men appointed ouer the chambers of the store for the offerings (for the first fruites, and for the tithes) to gather into them out of the fieldes of the cities, the portions of the Law for the Priests and the Leuites: for Iudah reioyced for the Priests and for the Leuites, that serued.
45 Wɔyɛɛ wɔn Nyankopɔn som no ne ahodwira som no pɛpɛɛpɛ, sɛnea Dawid ne ne babarima Salomo mmara kyerɛ no, na saa ara nso na nnwontofo no ne aponanohwɛfo no yɛe.
And both the singers and the Leuites kept the ward of their God, and the warde of the purification according to the commandement of Dauid, and Salomon his sonne.
46 Amanne a wɔma nnwontofo akwankyerɛfo di nnwontofo no anim wɔ nkamfo ne aseda nnwom a wɔto de ma Onyankopɔn no fii ase fi Dawid ne Asaf bere so.
For in the dayes of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were chiefe singers, and songs of praise and thankesgiuing vnto God.
47 Enti efi Serubabel ne Nehemia bere so no, na daa ɔmanfo brɛ nnwontofo no ne aponanohwɛfo ne Lewifo no nnuan. Na Lewifo no nso de nea wonya no mu bi ma asɔfo a wɔyɛ Aaron asefo no.
And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, and in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.
