< Mateo 4 >

1 Eyi akyi no, Honhom Kronkron faa Yesu kɔɔ sare so sɛ ɔbonsam nkɔsɔ no nhwɛ.
THEN Jeshu was led by the Spirit of Holiness into the desert, that he should be tempted by the Accuser.
2 Saa bere no mu, Yesu dii mmuada adaduanan; awia ne anadwo. Eyi maa ɔkɔm dee no.
And he fasted forty days and forty nights; but afterward he hungered.
3 Ɔbonsam baa Yesu nkyɛn bɛka kyerɛɛ no se, “Sɛ wone Onyankopɔn Ba no a, ka na saa abo yi nnan aduan.”
And he who tempteth approached and said, If the Son thou art of Aloha, say that these stones shall become bread.
4 Yesu buaa no se, “Wɔakyerɛw se, ‘Ɛnyɛ aduan nko ara na ɛho hia onipa wɔ nʼasetena mu, na mmom asɛm biara a efi Awurade anom.’”
But he answered and said, It is written that not by bread alone liveth the Son of man, but by every word which proceedeth from the mouth of Aloha.
5 Afei ɔbonsam de Yesu kɔɔ Yerusalem de no kogyinaa asɔredan a ɛwɔ hɔ no atifi pɛɛ,
Then the Accuser taketh him to the holy city, and caused him to stand on the pinnacle of the temple;
6 na ɔka kyerɛɛ no se, “Sɛ wone Onyankopɔn Ba no ampa ara a, huruw fi nea wugyina hɔ si fam, efisɛ, wɔakyerɛw se, “‘Onyankopɔn bɛsoma nʼabɔfo abeso wo mu, wɔde wɔn nsa bɛma wo so, na wo nan ampem ɔbo.’”
and said to him, If the Son thou art of Aloha, throw thyself down; for it is written that his angels he shall command concerning thee, and upon their hands they shall bear thee, that thou strike not against a stone thy foot.
7 Yesu buaa bio se, “Wɔakyerɛw se, ‘Nsɔ Awurade wo Nyankopɔn nhwɛ.’”
Jeshu said to him, Again it is written, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy Aloha.
8 Eyi akyi no, ɔbonsam de Yesu kɔɔ bepɔw tenten bi apampam. Ɔde nʼani kari kyerɛɛ no wiase ahenni ahorow ne mu anuonyam nyinaa.
Again the Accuser took him to a mountain which is exceeding high, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory;
9 Afei ɔka kyerɛɛ Yesu se, “Sɛ wobɛkotow asom me a, mede nea wuhu yi nyinaa bɛma wo.”
and said to him, These all to thee will I give, if thou wilt fall and worship me,
10 Ɛhɔ ara na Yesu buae se, “Fi me so, Satan! Hu sɛ wɔakyerɛw se, ‘Kotow som Awurade, wo Nyankopɔn, na ɔno nko ara na som no.’”
Then said Jeshu to him, Away with thee, Satana! for it is written that the Lord thy Aloha thou shalt worship, and him only thou shalt serve.
11 Yesu ano sii no, ɔbonsam gyaw no hɔ kɔe. Ɛno akyi no abɔfo baa Yesu nkyɛn bɛsom no.
Then the Accuser left him, and, behold, the angels drew nigh and ministered unto him.
12 Yesu tee sɛ wɔakyere Yohane no, ɔkɔɔ Galilea.
BUT when Jeshu heard that Juchanan was perfected, he removed into Galila.
13 Oduu Galilea no, wantena Nasaret, na mmom otwaa mu wɔ Nasaret hɔ kɔtenaa Kapernaum a ɛwɔ Galilea mpoano no, Sebulon ne Naftali ahye so.
And he left Natsrath, and came and dwelt in Kaphar-Nachum by the sea-side on the borders of Zabolon and of Naptholi.
14 Eyi maa nea Odiyifo Yesaia kae no baa mu sɛ,
That the thing might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet Eshaia, who said,
15 “Sebulon asase ne Naftali asase, ɛpo kwan so, Yordan agya, Galilea a amanamanmufo te hɔ,
The land of Zabolon, the land of Naptholi, the way of the sea beyond Jurdan, Galila of the peoples.
16 nnipa a wɔte sum mu no, Hann kɛse bi apue ama wɔn. Hann no apue ama wɔn a wɔte owu asase so.”
The people who sat in darkness the great light hath seen; and they who have sat in the region and shadow of death, the light has arisen upon them.
17 Efi saa bere no, Yesu fii nʼasɛnka ase se, “Monsakra mo adwene, momfa mo ho mma Onyankopɔn na ɔsoro ahenni no abɛn.”
From that time began Jeshu to preach, and to say, Repent! for the kingdom of heaven hath drawn nigh.
18 Da bi a Yesu nam Galilea mpoano no, ohuu anuanom baanu bi a wɔn nyinaa yɛ apopofo sɛ wɔregu asau wɔ po no mu. Saa anuanom yi mu baako din de Simon a ne din foforo nso de Petro. Ɔbaako no nso din de Andrea.
And while he walked by the sea of Galila, he saw two brethren, Shemun who was called Kipha, and Andreas his brother, who were casting their nets into the sea, for they were fishers.
19 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Mummedi mʼakyi na mɛsoma mo ama moakoyi nnipa kra.”
And Jeshu said to them, Come after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
20 Ɛhɔ ara wogyaw wɔn asau no guu hɔ kodii nʼakyi ne no kɔe.
And they immediately forsook their nets and went after him.
21 Ɔkɔɔ nʼanim kakra no, ohuu Sebedeo mma baanu a wɔfrɛ ɔbaako Yohane na ɔbaako nso din de Yakobo sɛ wɔne wɔn agya te ɔkorow mu repempam wɔn asau mu. Yesu frɛɛ wɔn nso se wommedi nʼakyi.
And when he had passed thence, he saw two other brethren, Jakub-bar-Zabdai and Juchanan his brother, in a vessel with Zabdai their father, repairing their nets: and Jeshu called them;
22 Ntɛm ara, wogyaw wɔn agya ne ɔkorow no hɔ kodii nʼakyi.
and they forthwith left the vessel and their father, and went after him.
23 Yesu kyinkyinii Galileaman mu nyinaa kaa ahenni no ho asɛmpa wɔ Yudafo hyiadan mu. Ɔsaa nyarewa ahorow a wɔde baa nʼanim nyinaa nso.
And Jeshu perambulated all Galila, and taught in their synagogues, and preached the announcement of the kingdom, and healed all disease and affliction in the people.
24 Yesu anwonwade a ɔyɛe yi trɛw koduu Siriaman mu nyinaa. Eyi ma wɔde wɔn a ahonhommɔne wɔ wɔn so, wɔn a wotwa, wɔn a wɔyare mmubui ne wɔn a nyarewa ahorow haw wɔn no nyinaa fi Siriaman mu brɛɛ no ma ɔsaa wɔn nyinaa yare.
And his fame was heard in all Suria; and they brought to him all those who were grievously affected with various diseases, and those who were pressed down by strong pains, and demoniacs, and lunatics, and the paralysed; and he healed them.
25 Anwonwade a Yesu yɛɛ yi maa nnipakuw a wofi Galilea ne nkurow “Dekapoli” no mu ne Yerusalem ne Yordan agya tu dii nʼakyi.
And there went after him great gatherings from Galila, and from the ten cities, and from Urishlem, and from Jehud, and from beyond Jurdan.
