< Mateo 28 >
1 Homeda no akyi Memeneda ahemadakye, Maria Magdalene ne Maria baako no kɔɔ ɔda no so.
Sabbath being over, and the first day of the week beginning to dawn, Mary the Magdalene and the other Mary, went to visit the sepulcher.
2 Asase wosow denneennen, na Awurade bɔfo sian fii ɔsoro ba bepirew ɔbo no fii ɔda no ano, na ɔtenaa so.
Now there had been a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord had descended from heaven, who, having rolled the stone from the entrance, sat upon it.
3 Nʼanim hyerɛn te sɛ kanea na nʼatade yɛ fitaa te sɛ nwera.
His countenance was like lightning, and his apparel white as snow.
4 Awɛmfo no huu no no, ehu maa wɔn ho popoe, na wɔhwehwee ase, dan sɛ awufo.
Seeing him, the guards quaked with terror, and became as dead men.
5 Ɔbɔfo no ka kyerɛɛ mmea no se, “Munnsuro! Minim sɛ morehwehwɛ Yesu a wɔbɔɔ no asennua mu no,
But the angel said to the women, Fear not; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
6 nanso onni ha. Wasɔre kɔ sɛnea ɔkae no. Mommra mmɛhwɛ nea na ɔda hɔ no.
He is not here; for he is risen, as he foretold. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 Afei monkɔ ntɛm nkɔka nkyerɛ nʼasuafo no se, ‘Wasɔre afi awufo mu, na ɔredi mo anim kan akɔ Galilea akohyia mo wɔ hɔ.’ Eyi ne nkra a mewɔ de ma mo.”
And go quickly, say to his disciples, He is risen from the dead; behold he goes before you to Galilee, where you shall see him. Take notice: I have told you.
8 Mmea no de ehu ne anigye a adi afra tutuu mmirika fii ɔda no so sɛ, wɔrekɔhwehwɛ asuafo no aka ɔbɔfo no nkra no akyerɛ wɔn.
Instantly they went from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to inform his disciples.
9 Wɔrekɔ no, prɛko pɛ, Yesu begyinaa wɔn anim. Okyiaa wɔn se, “Asomdwoe nka mo.” Wobuu no nkotodwe, som no.
When they were gone, Jesus himself met them, saying, Rejoice. Upon which they prostrated themselves before him, and embraced his feet.
10 Afei Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Munnsuro! Monkɔ nkɔka nkyerɛ me nuanom no se wɔnkɔ Galilea nkohyia me wɔ hɔ.”
Then Jesus said to them, Be not afraid: go, tell my brethren to repair to Galilee, and there they shall see me.
11 Bere a mmea no rekɔ kurow no mu no, awɛmfo a wɔwɛn ɔda no mu bi kɔɔ asɔfo mpanyin no nkyɛn kɔkaa nea asi no nyinaa kyerɛɛ wɔn.
They were no sooner gone, than some of the guard went into the city, and informed the chief priests of all that had happened.
12 Yudafo mpanyin no nyinaa hyiae, na wosii no gyinae se, wɔbɛma awɛmfo no sika aka akyerɛ wɔn
These, after meeting and consulting with the elders, gave a large sum to the soldiers,
13 se, “Monka se, ‘Anadwo a yɛdae no na nʼasuafo no ba bewiaa amu no kɔe.’”
with this injunction: Say, his disciples came by night, and stole him while we were asleep.
14 Wɔhyɛɛ awɛmfo no bɔ se, “Sɛ ɛba sɛ amrado te ɛho asɛm a, yebedi mo adanse sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a, ɔrenyɛ mo hwee.”
And if this come to the procurator's ears, we will appease him, and indemnify you.
15 Eyi nti awɛmfo no gyee sika no kɔyɛɛ sɛnea wɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ wɔnyɛ no. Asɛm a wɔkae no trɛw faa Yudafo no mu nyinaa na wogye dii de besi nnɛ.
So they took the money, and acted agreeably with to their instructions. Accordingly this report is current among the Jews to this day.
16 Afei asuafo dubaako no sii mu kɔɔ Galilea bepɔw a Yesu kae se wɔnkɔ so no so.
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain, whither Jesus had appointed them to repair.
17 Ɛhɔ na wohuu no, kotow, sɔree no. Nanso na wɔn mu bi nnye nni ara.
When they saw him, they threw themselves prostrate before him; yet some doubted.
18 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Wɔde ɔsoro ne asase so tumi nyinaa ama me.
Jesus came near, and said to them, All authority is given to me in heaven and upon the earth;
19 Enti monkɔ nkɔyɛ amanaman nyinaa mʼasuafo. Mommɔ wɔn asu nhyɛ Agya, Ɔba ne Honhom Kronkron din mu,
go, convert all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
20 na monkyerɛkyerɛ wɔn sɛ, wonni nea mahyɛ mo no nyinaa so. Na me ne mo wɔ hɔ nna nyinaa de bɛkɔ akosi wiase awiei.” (aiōn )
teaching them to observe all the things which I have commanded you: and behold, I am with you always, even to the conclusion of this state. (aiōn )
