< Mateo 19 >
1 Yesu wiee nʼasɛnka no, ɔkɔɔ Galilea. Ofi Galilea no, otwaa Asubɔnten Yordan baa Yudea.
It happened when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.
2 Nnipadɔm tu dii nʼakyi, ma ɔsaa wɔn yare.
Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3 Farisifo bi ba bebisaa no nsɛm bi pɛɛ sɛ wɔnam wɔn nsɛmmisa no so ma ɔka asɛm bi a ɛde no bɛkɔ sɔhwɛ mu. Wobisaa no se, “Wopene awaregyae so ana?”
And Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying to him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce a wife for any reason?"
4 Yesu nso bisaa wɔn se, “Gyama monkenkan Kyerɛw Kronkron no? Wɔakyerɛw wɔ mu se, ‘Mfiase no, Onyankopɔn bɔɔ ɔbarima ne ɔbea.
He answered, and said, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female,
5 Eyi nti na ɔbarima begyaw nʼagya ne ne na hɔ de ne ho akɔbɔ ne yere ho daa nyinaa no.’
and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife; and the two will become one flesh?'
6 Enti na wɔnyɛ baanu bio, na mmom wɔabɛyɛ ɔhonam koro. Enti nea Onyankopɔn aka abɔ mu no, ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara tetew mu.”
So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no one separate."
7 Farisifo no kɔɔ so bisaa no se, “Adɛn nti na Mose kae se, sɛ ɔbarima bi pɛ sɛ ogyaa ne yere a otumi kyerɛw no krataa kɛkɛ, de gyaa no?”
They asked him, "Why then did Moses command us to give her a certificate of divorce, and divorce her?"
He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
9 Na mereka akyerɛ mo se, obiara a obegyaa ne yere, a ɛnyɛ sɛ ɔbea no abɔ aguaman, na ɔbɛsan aware ɔbea foforo no asɛe aware.”
I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery. And he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery."
10 Yesu asuafo no kae se, “Sɛ saa na ɛte de a, na ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara ware.”
The disciples said to him, "If this is the case of a husband with a wife, it is not expedient to marry."
11 Yesu buaa wɔn se, “Ɛnyɛ obiara na obetumi agye asɛm yi ato mu, gye wɔn a Onyankopɔn hyɛ wɔn den no nko ara.
But he said to them, "Not everyone can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
12 Nnipa bi wɔ hɔ a wonni mmarimayɛ mu ahoɔden fi awo mu, ebinom nso wɔ hɔ a nnipa na wɔyɛɛ wɔn saa; ebinom nso ɔsoro Ahenni no nti, wɔpo aware. Obiara a obetumi no, nni mʼasɛm a maka yi so.”
For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it."
13 Wɔde mmofra nkumaa brɛɛ Yesu sɛ ɔmfa ne nsa ngu wɔn so, na ɔmmɔ mpae mma wɔn. Nanso asuafo no kaa wɔn anim.
Then little children were brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
14 Yesu kae se, “Momma mmofra no kwan na wɔmmra me nkyɛn, na munnsiw wɔn kwan, na eyinom sɛɛ na Ɔsoro Ahenni no yɛ wɔn dea.”
But Jesus said, "Allow the little children, and do not forbid them to come to me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to ones like these."
15 Na ɔde ne nsa guu wɔn so, hyiraa wɔn ansa na ɔrefi hɔ akɔ.
He placed his hands on them, and departed from there.
And look, someone came to him and said, "Teacher, what good thing must I do, that I may have everlasting life?" (aiōnios )
17 Yesu buaa no se, “Adɛn nti na wubisa me nea ɛyɛ papa ho asɛm? Ɔbaako pɛ na ɔyɛ papa. Sɛ wopɛ sɛ wokɔ nkwa mu de a, di mmara nsɛm no so.”
He said to him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? No one is good but one. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."
18 Aberante no nso bisaa no se, “Mmaransɛm no mu nea ɛwɔ he?” Yesu buaa no se, “Nni awu. Nsɛe aware. Mmɔ korɔn. Nni atoro.
He said to him, "Which ones?" And Jesus said, "'Do not murder.' 'Do not commit adultery.' 'Do not steal.' 'Do not offer false testimony.'
19 Di wʼagya ne wo na ni, na dɔ wo yɔnko sɛ wo ho!”
'Honor your father and mother.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
20 Aberante no nso kae se, “Midi eyinom nyinaa so pɛpɛɛpɛ. Afei menyɛ dɛn?”
The young man said to him, "All these things I have kept. What do I still lack?"
21 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Sɛ wopɛ sɛ woyɛ pɛ a kɔ na kɔtɔn biribiara a wowɔ, na fa sika a wubenya afi mu no ma ahiafo. Ɛno ansa na wubenya ademude wɔ ɔsoro. Afei bedi mʼakyi.”
Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me."
22 Esiane sɛ na saa aberante yi wɔ ahonyade bebree nti, ɔtee saa nsɛm no, anyɛ no dɛ maa ɔde awerɛhow fii hɔ kɔe.
But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.
23 Afei Yesu ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Meka mo nokware se ɛyɛ den ma osikani sɛ ɔbɛkɔ Ɔsoro Ahenni no mu.
Jesus said to his disciples, "Truly I say to you, it is difficult for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 Meka ti mu se, ɛyɛ mmerɛw sɛ yoma bewura pane aniwa mu sen sɛ osikani bɛkɔ Onyankopɔn Ahenni mu!”
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich person to enter into the Kingdom of God."
25 Asuafo no tee saa asɛm no, wɔn adwene mu yɛɛ wɔn naa.
When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?"
Looking at them, Jesus said, "With humans this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
27 Petro nso kae se, “Yagyaw biribiara hɔ abedi wʼakyi; na mfaso bɛn na yebenya afi wʼakyidi no mu?”
Then Peter answered, "Look, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?"
28 Yesu buae se, “Me, Agyenkwa no, sɛ metena mʼanuonyam ahengua no so a, nokware, mo mʼasuafo yi nso bɛtena ahengua dumien no so na moabu Israel mmusuakuw dumien no atɛn.
Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit everlasting life. (aiōnios )
30 Na wɔn a wɔadi kan no mu pii bedi akyi, na wɔn a wodi akyi no nso mu bi abedi kan.”
But many will be last who are first; and first who are last.
