< Mateo 10 >

1 Yesu frɛɛ nʼasuafo dumien no baa ne nkyɛn, na ɔmaa wɔn tumi sɛ wontu ahonhommɔne na wɔnsa nyarewa ne ahoɔmmerɛw nyinaa.
And having called in his twelve disciples, he gave them authority over unclean spirits, so as to cast them out, and to heal every sickness and every disease.
2 Yesu asuafo dumien no din ni: Simon a ne din baako ne Petro ne ne nua Andrea; Yakobo ne ne nua Yohane a wɔyɛ Sebedeo mma no,
Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: First, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother,
3 Filipo ne Bartolomeo, Toma ne towgyefo Mateo, Yakobo, Alfeo ba ne Tadeo,
Philip, and Bartholomew, Thomas, and Matthew the tax collector, James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus who was surnamed Thaddaeus,
4 Simon a ofi Kana ne Yuda Iskariot a akyiri no, oyii Yesu mae no.
Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
5 Yesu somaa asuafo dumien no hyɛɛ wɔn se, “Monnkɔ nea amanamanmufo wɔ anaa Samariafo kurow biara mu,
These twelve Jesus sent forth, having ordered them, saying, Go not into a way of the Gentiles, and enter not into a city of the Samaritans,
6 na mmom monkɔ Onyankopɔn nguan a wɔwɔ Israel a wɔayera no nkyɛn.
but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 Monkɔka nkyerɛ wɔn se, ‘Onyankopɔn Ahenni no abɛn!’
And while going, preach, saying, The kingdom of the heavens has come near.
8 Monsa ayarefo yare, munnyan awufo, momma akwatafo ho mfi, na muntu ahonhommɔne. Sɛnea munyaa no kwa no, saa ara na mo nso na momfa mma kwa.
Heal those who are feeble, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely ye received, freely give.
9 “Mommmfa sikakɔkɔɔ, dwetɛ anaa kɔbere biara mmɔ mo ho.
Acquire no gold, nor silver, nor copper in your belts,
10 Mommmfa akwantukotoku anaa ntade anaa mpaboa anaa pema. Ɛsɛ sɛ odwumayɛni didi.
no bag for the road, nor two coats, nor shoes, nor staffs, for the workman is worthy of his provision.
11 Kurow biara a mobɛkɔ mu anaa akuraa biara a mobɛkɔ ase no, monhwehwɛ onipa a onyamesuro wɔ ne mu akyi kwan na montena ne nkyɛn kosi da a mubefi hɔ akɔ baabi foforo.
And into whatever city or village ye may enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and there abide until ye go forth.
12 Sɛ mokɔ ofi bi mu a, munkyia wɔn se, ‘Asomdwoe nka mo!’
And while entering into the house, salute it.
13 Sɛ saa ofi no mufo gye mo fɛw so a, munhyira wɔn, na sɛ wɔannye mo de a, momfa mo asomdwoe.
And if indeed the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 Sɛ morefi ofi anaa kurow biara a wɔannye mo wɔ mu no mu akɔ a, momporoporow ofi no anaa kurow no mu mfutuma a ɛwɔ mo nan ase no ngu hɔ.
And whoever will not receive you, nor hear your words, while departing that house or that city, shake off the dust of your feet.
15 Nokware ni, atemmuda no, Sodom ne Gomora mpo benya baabi agyina wɔ Onyankopɔn anim sen saa kurow no.
Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.
16 “Monkae sɛ meresoma mo sɛ nguan akɔ mpataku mu. Monyɛ anifere sɛ awɔ na munnwo sɛ mmorɔnoma.
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Become ye therefore wise as serpents, and innocent as doves.
17 Nanso monhwɛ yiye wɔ nnipa ho! Wɔbɛkyere mo adi mo asɛm, abɔ mo mmaa wɔ wɔn asɔredan mu.
But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues,
18 Me nti, wɔde mo bɛkɔ atumfo ne ahene anim. Eyi bɛma moanya kwan aka asɛmpa no akyerɛ wɔn ne amanamanmufo no.
and ye will be brought to governors and even kings because of me, for a witness to them and to the Gentiles.
19 Sɛ wɔkyere mo a, munnnwinwen asɛm a mobɛka de ayi mo ho ano ho. Wɔde asɛm a mobɛka no bɛma mo bere a ɛsɛ mu.
But when they deliver you up, be not anxious how or what ye should speak, for it will be given you in that hour what ye will speak.
20 Asɛm a mobɛka no remfi mo, na mmom, mo ɔsoro Agya no honhom na ɔnam mo so bɛkasa.
For ye are not who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking in you.
21 “Onua beyi onua ama na wɔakum no. Saa ara na agyanom nso beyi wɔn mma ama. Mma bɛsɔre atia wɔn awofo ama wɔakum wɔn.
And a brother will deliver up a brother to death, and a father a child. And children will rise up against parents, and condemn them to death.
22 Me nti, nnipa nyinaa bɛtan mo. Nanso nea obetumi agyina pintinn akosi awiei no na wobegye no nkwa.
And ye will be hated by all men because of my name, but he who endures to the end, this man will be saved.
23 Sɛ wɔtaa mo kurow baako mu a, munguan nkɔ kurow foforo mu. Mereka nokware akyerɛ mo se morenwie Israel nkurow nyinaa mu adwumayɛ ansa na Onipa Ba no aba.
But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the other, for truly I say to you, ye will, no, not have completed the cities of Israel, until the Son of man comes.
24 “Osuani nsen ne kyerɛkyerɛfo, na akoa nso nsen ne wura.
A pupil is not above his teacher, nor a bondman above his lord.
25 Osuani sua ne kyerɛkyerɛfo, na akoa nso sua ne wura. Enti sɛ me a meyɛ ofi no ti no wɔfrɛ me ‘Ɔbonsam’ a, dɛn din na wɔremfa mfrɛ mo!
It is enough for the pupil that he becomes like his teacher, and the bondman like his lord. If they have called the house-ruler Beelzebub, how much more those of his household.
26 “Munnsuro wɔn. Mmere bi bɛba a nokware no bɛda adi. Nea wɔyɛ no kokoa mu no nyinaa bɛda adi.
Fear them not therefore, for there is nothing covered, that will not be revealed, and hid, that will not be known.
27 Nea mereka akyerɛ mo wɔ sum mu yi, monka wɔ hann mu. Nea mereka agu mo asom yi, mompae mu nka wɔ adan atifi.
What I tell you in the darkness, speak ye in the light, and what ye hear in the ear, proclaim upon the housetops.
28 Munnsuro wɔn a wobetumi akum mo nipadua nanso wɔrentumi nkum mo kra no. Onyankopɔn a obetumi akum onipadua no ne ɔkra wɔ amanehunu kurom no nko ara na munsuro no. (Geenna g1067)
And be not afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. But rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Geenna g1067)
29 Wɔtɔn akasanoma gye ahe? Nkasanoma abien bo nyɛ sika kakraa bi pɛ? Nanso akasanoma biara nni hɔ a obewu a mo Agya no nnim ho biribi.
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall on the ground independent of your Father.
30 Mo tinwi mpo, wɔakan ne nyinaa.
But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Enti munnsuro! Mosom bo ma Onyankopɔn sen nkasanoma.
Fear not therefore, ye are of worth more than many sparrows.
32 “Obiara a ɔbɛka se onim me wɔ nnipa anim no, me nso mɛka se minim no mʼagya a ɔwɔ ɔsoro no anim.
Therefore every man, whoever will profess in me before men, I also will profess in him before my Father in the heavens.
33 Na obiara a ɔbɛka se onnim me wɔ nnipa anim no, me nso mɛka se minnim no wɔ mʼagya a ɔwɔ ɔsoro no anim.
But whoever would deny me before men, I also will deny him before my Father in the heavens.
34 “Munnsusuw sɛ mede asomdwoe na ɛbaa asase yi so! Ɛnyɛ asomdwoe na mmom afoa na mede bae.
Think not that I came to spread peace on the earth. I came not to spread peace, but a sword.
35 Maba sɛ mɛma, “‘ɔbabarima asɔre atia nʼagya, na ɔbabea asɔre atia ne na, na ɔbea warefo nso asɔre atia nʼasebea.
For I came to divide a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 Obiara tamfo a ne ho yɛ hu no befi nʼankasa ne fi.’
And a man's foes, are those of his own household.
37 “Nea ɔdɔ nʼagya anaa ne na kyɛn me no rentumi nyɛ me de. Saa ara na nea ɔdɔ ne babarima anaa ne babea kyɛn me no rentumi nyɛ me de ara ne no.
He who loves father or mother above me is not worthy of me, and he who loves son or daughter above me is not worthy of me.
38 Sɛ obi amfa nʼasennua na wammedi mʼakyi a, ɔrentumi nyɛ me de.
And he who does not take his cross and follow behind me, is not worthy of me.
39 Sɛ woma wo kra som wo bo a, wobɛhwere wo kra no, nanso sɛ me nti wohwere wo kra a, wo nsa bɛka.
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life because of me will find it.
40 “Obiara a ogye mo no gye me, na nea ogye me no nso gye Onyankopɔn a ɔsomaa me no.
He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.
41 Sɛ wugye odiyifo bi sɛ ɔyɛ Onyankopɔn nipa nti a, wobetua wo so ka sɛ odiyifo no ara pɛ. Na sɛ wugye nnipa trenee a, wubenya akatua sɛ onipa trenee.
He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward.
42 Na obiara a ɔbɛma mʼakyidifo yi mu akumaa bi nsu anom no, onii no akatua remmɔ no da.”
And whoever may give to drink one of these little ones merely a cold cup in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you he will, no, not lose his reward.
