< Marko 2 >
1 Nna bi akyi no, Yesu kɔɔ Kapernaum bio. Oduu hɔ no nnipa pii tee sɛ waba hɔ.
And again he entered into Capernaum after [some] days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
2 Ankyɛ na nnipa bebree bɛhyɛɛ ofi a na ɔwɔ mu no mu ma tɔ. Ɔkaa asɛmpa no kyerɛɛ wɔn.
And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive [them], no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
3 Mmarima baanan bi de obubuafo bi a wɔso no baa hɔ.
And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
4 Esiane sɛ na wontumi mfa nnipadɔm no mu nkɔ Yesu nkyɛn no nti, wɔforoo ɔdan a Yesu wɔ mu no, kotuu tokuru wɔ atifi. Wɔde obubuafo a ɔda ne kɛtɛ so no faa mu, gyaagyaa no brɛoo de no kɔtoo Yesu anim.
And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken [it] up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
5 Yesu huu wɔn gyidi a wɔwɔ wɔ ne mu no, ɔka kyerɛɛ ɔyarefo no se, “Ɔba, wɔde wo bɔne akyɛ wo!”
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
6 Kyerɛwsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfo a wɔwɔ hɔ no tee nea Yesu kae no, wɔdwenee wɔ wɔn tirim
But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
7 se, “Asɛm bɛn na ɔreka yi! Abususɛm na ɔreka yi! Osusuw sɛ ɔyɛ Onyankopɔn? Onyankopɔn nko na otumi de bɔne kyɛ.”
Why doth this [man] thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
8 Mpofirim na Yesu huu wɔn adwene ma obisaa wɔn se, “Adɛn na moma asɛm a mekae yi haw mo?
And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
9 Nea ɛwɔ he na ɛyɛ mmerɛw: sɛ wɔbɛka akyerɛ obubuafo yi se, ‘Wɔde wo bɔne akyɛ wo,’ anaa wɔbɛka se, ‘Sɔre, fa wo kɛtɛ na nantew?’
Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, [Thy] sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
10 Nanso sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ na mubehu sɛ Onipa Ba no wɔ tumi wɔ asase so sɛ ɔde bɔne kyɛ,” Enti ɔka kyerɛɛ obubuafo no se,
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy, )
11 “Mise wo sɛ, sɔre gyina hɔ, fa wo kɛtɛ, na kɔ fie.”
I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
12 Obubuafo yi sɔre bobɔw ne kɛtɛ, na ɔde anigye ne ahosɛpɛw faa nnipadɔm no mu kɔe. Nnipa no ho dwiriw wɔn ma wɔkamfoo Onyankopɔn se, “Yenhuu eyi bi da!”
And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
13 Yesu san kɔɔ mpoano hɔ bio, na ɔkaa asɛmpa no kyerɛɛ nnipakuw a wɔahyia wɔ hɔ no.
And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.
14 Bere a ɔnam mpoano hɔ no, ohuu Alfeo ba Lewi sɛ ɔte atowgyei. Ɔka kyerɛɛ no se, “Di mʼakyi.” Na Lewi sɔre dii nʼakyi.
And as he passed by, he saw Levi the [son] of Alphæus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
15 Saa anadwofa no, Lewi too pon, too nsa frɛɛ ne mfɛfo towgyefo ne nnebɔneyɛfo bi sɛ wɔmmra na ɔne wɔn ne Yesu ne nʼasuafo no nto nsa nnidi. Nnipa a wodii Yesu akyi no bi te sɛ Lewi ara pɛ.
And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.
16 Farisifo no huu sɛ ɔne nnebɔneyɛfo ne towgyefo ato nsa redidi no, wobisaa nʼasuafo no se, “Adɛn nti na ɔne towgyefo ne nnebɔneyɛfo to nsa didi?”
And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?
17 Yesu tee nea wɔkae no, obuaa wɔn se, “Wɔn a wɔwɔ ahoɔden no, ɔyaresafo ho nhia wɔn, na wɔn a wɔyare no na ɔyaresafo ho hia wɔn. Mamma sɛ merebɛka akyerɛ atreneefo sɛ wɔnsakra wɔn adwene na mmom, nnebɔneyɛfo.”
When Jesus heard [it], he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
18 Da bi a Osuboni Yohane akyidifo ne Farisifo no redi mmuada no, nnipa bi kɔɔ Yesu nkyɛn kobisaa no se, “Adɛn nti na Yohane ne Farisifo no akyidifo di mmuada na wʼakyidifo de, wonni mmuada?”
And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
19 Yesu nso bisaa wɔn se, “Moahu ayeforokunu nnamfo a wɔbɛba ayeforo ase a wɔbɛka se, wɔredi mmuada nti wɔrennidi ana? Mmere dodow a wɔne ayeforokunu no nam no de, wɔrenni mmuada da.
And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
20 Na da bi bɛba a, wɔbɛfa ayeforokunu no afi wɔn nkyɛn. Saa bere no na wobedi mmuada.
But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
21 “Ɛte sɛ wode ntama foforo atare ntama dedaw mu. Dɛn na ɛba? Ntaremu no bɛtew ntama dedaw no mu, na ayi afi mu, na ama tokuru a ɛda hɔ no aso asen kan de no.
No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.
22 Munim sɛ wɔmfa nsa foforo ngu aboa nhoma nkotoku dedaw mu. Anyɛ saa a, ɛbɛpae. Nsa no behwie agu, na nkotoku a nsa no wɔ mu no nso bɛpaapae. Ɛsɛ sɛ wɔde nsa foforo gu nkotoku foforo mu.”
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
23 Homeda bi a Yesu ne nʼasuafo nam aburowfuw bi mu no, asuafo no pempan aburow no bi wee.
And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
24 Farisifo no bi ka kyerɛɛ Yesu se, “Hwɛ, adɛn na wɔreyɛ nea etia mmara Homeda?”
And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
25 Yesu nso bisaa wɔn se, “Monnkenkan nea Ɔhene Dawid yɛe, bere a ɔkɔm dee ɔne wɔn a na wɔka ne ho no,
And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
26 ne sɛnea ɔkɔɔ Onyankopɔn fi wɔ Ɔsɔfopanyin Abiatar bere so, na ɔne wɔn a wɔka ne ho kodii brodo a wɔde abɔ afɔre ama Onyankopɔn no, a obiara nni ho kwan sɛ odi, gye asɔfo nko ara no pɛ? Na ɛno nso tia mmara.
How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
27 “Onipa nti na wɔyɛɛ Homeda, na ɛnyɛ Homeda nti na wɔbɔɔ onipa.
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Enti Onipa Ba no yɛ Homeda so wura mpo!”
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
