< Marko 14 >

1 Aka nnaanu na Twam ne Apiti Afahyɛ a ɛyɛ Yudafo ahomegye nna no adu no, asɔfo mpanyin ne Kyerɛwsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfo no hwehwɛɛ nyansa kwan a wɔbɛfa so akyere Yesu, akum no.
BUT after two days was the Petscha of unleavened cakes: and the chief priests and the Sophree sought how with guile they might apprehend and kill him.
2 Nanso wɔkae se, “Yɛrenkyere no afahyɛ no mu, anyɛ saa a ɛde basabasayɛ bɛba ɔman no mu.”
And they said, Not on the festival, lest there be a commotion among the people.
3 Yesu wɔ Betania na ɔne Simon kwatani redidi no, ɔbea bi a okura ngo huamhuam bi a ne bo yɛ den baa hɔ. Otuu ano, hwie guu Yesu tirim.
And when he was at Bethania in the house of Shemun the leper, as he reclined, there came a woman who had with her a vase of the balsam of the choicest nard of great prices; and she opened it, and poured it upon the head of Jeshu.
4 Nea ɔbea yi yɛe no anyɛ nnipa a wɔte adidii no mu bi dɛ. Na wɔkae se wasɛe ngo no kwa.
But there were men of the disciples who were displeased among themselves, and said, Why make destruction of this balsam?
5 Wɔkaa bio nso se, “Anka wobetumi atɔn ngo huamhuam yi anya sika pii na wɔde ama ahiafo.”
for it could have been sold for more than three hundred dinoreen, and given to the poor. And they were angry with her.
6 Nanso Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Munnyaa no! Adɛn nti na morehaw no wɔ ade pa a ɔyɛe no ho?
But he, Jeshu, said, Let her alone; why do you trouble her? A good work hath she wrought upon me.
7 Mo ne ahiafo a mubetumi aboa wɔn bere biara mu na ɛte. Na me de, merenkyɛ wɔ mo nkyɛn.
For in all time you have the poor with you, and, when you will, you can do them good; but I am not at all time with you.
8 Wayɛ nea obetumi. Wadi kan asra me nipadua ama da a wobesie me.
(With) that which was hers she hath done this, and beforehand as for the funeral she hath anointed my body.
9 Mereka akyerɛ mo se, baabiara a wɔbɛka asɛmpa no wɔ wiase no, wɔde nea ɔbea yi yɛe no bɛkae no akamfo no.”
And Amen I say to you, That wheresoever my gospel shall be preached in the whole world, this also which she hath now done shall be told in memorial of her.
10 Afei Yuda Iskariot, asuafo dumien no mu baako, kɔɔ asɔfo mpanyin no nkyɛn ne wɔn kɔhyehyɛɛ sɛnea obeyi Yesu ama wɔn no ho.
But Jihuda Scarjuta, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests, to betray Jeshu to them:
11 Asɔfo mpanyin no tee asɛm no, ɛyɛɛ wɔn anigye ma wɔhyɛɛ no bɔ. Efi saa bere no, ɔhwehwɛɛ sɛnea obenya Yesu ho kwan, ayi no ama bere a ɛsɛ mu.
and they when they had heard rejoiced, and promised silver to give him. And he sought to him opportunity to betray him.
12 Apiti Afahyɛ no da a edi kan a wokum Twam Afahyɛ guan no, nʼasuafo bisaa no faako a wɔbɛkɔ akodi Twam Afahyɛ no.
And the first day of the unleavened bread, in which the Jihudoyee sacrifice the Petscha, the disciples say to him, Where wilt thou that we go to prepare for thee to eat the Petscha?
13 Ɔsomaa nʼasuafo no mu baanu kɔɔ Yerusalem se wonkosiesie baabi mma no. Nea ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn ne sɛ, “Morekɔ kurow no mu a, mubehyia onipa bi a ɔso ahina. Munni nʼakyi.
And he sent two of his disciples, and said to them, Go to the city, and, observe, a man meeteth you bearing a vessel of waters. Go after him;
14 Baabiara a obewura no, monka nkyerɛ ofiwura no se, ‘Yɛn wura asoma yɛn se, yɛmmɛhwɛ dan a wɔasiesie ama yɛn a yebedi Twam Afahyɛ no wɔ mu no.’
and when he hath entered, say to the house-lord, Our Master saith, Where is the place of feasting, where I can eat with my disciples the Petscha?
15 Ɔbɛkyerɛ mo abansoro asa kɛse bi a wɔasiesie mu. Ɛhɔ na monyɛ ahoboa mma yɛn.”
And, behold, he showeth you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.
16 Asuafo baanu no sii mu kɔɔ kurow no mu, na wohuu biribiara sɛnea Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn no pɛpɛɛpɛ, na wosiesiee Twam no wɔ hɔ.
And the disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had told them: and they prepared the Petscha.
17 Eduu anwummere no, Yesu ne dumien no bae.
And when it was evening he came with his twelve.
18 Na wɔte hɔ redidi no, Yesu kae se, “Merema mo ate ase sɛ, mo a me ne mo reto nsa adidi yi mu baako beyi me ama.”
And as they reclined and ate, Jeshu said to them, Amen I tell you, That one of you who eateth with me shall betray me.
19 Wɔn nyinaa werɛ howee, na wofii ase bisaa mmaako mmaako se, “Ɛyɛ me ana?”
But they began to be sad, and said to him one, one, Is it I?
20 Obuaa wɔn se, “Ɛyɛ mo dumien a mo ne me reto nsa adidi yi mu baako.
But he said to them, One of the twelve who dippeth with me in the dish.
21 Onipa Ba no rekɔ sɛnea wɔakyerɛw afa ne ho de, nanso onipa a obeyi no ama no, nnue! Sɛ wɔanwo saa onipa no mpo a, anka eye!”
And the Son of man goeth, as it is written concerning him; but woe to that man by whom is betrayed the Son of man! It had been better for that man if he had not been born.
22 Bere a wɔredidi no, Yesu faa brodo, na ohyiraa so bubui, na ɔde maa wɔn kae se, “Munnye nni; eyi ne me nipadua.”
And while they were eating, Jeshu took bread, and blessed, and brake, and gave to them, and said to them, Take; this is my body.
23 Afei ɔfaa kuruwa a nsa wɔ mu, na ɔdaa ase no, ɔde maa wɔn, na wɔn nyinaa nom bi.
And he took the cup, and praised and blessed, and gave to them; and they drank of it, all of them.
24 Na ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Eyi ne me mogya a ɛyɛ apam no mogya a ɛhyɛ Apam Foforo no mu den a bebree nti wɔrehwie agu.
And he said to them, This is my blood of the new Covenant, which for many is shed.
25 Mereka akyerɛ mo se, merennom saa nsa yi bio da akosi da a me ne mo bɛnom bi bio wɔ Onyankopɔn Ahenni no mu.”
Amen I say to you, That again I will not drink from the fruit of the vine till that day in which I will drink it newly in the kingdom of Aloha.
26 Wɔtoo dwom wiee no, wofii hɔ kɔɔ Ngo Bepɔw no so.
And they praised, and went forth to the mount of Olives.
27 Woduu nea wɔrekɔ no, Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Mo nyinaa beguan agya me.” Efisɛ Onyankopɔn nam adiyifo no so kae se, “‘Mɛbɔ oguanhwɛfo no, na nguan no abɔ apete.’
AND Jeshu said to them, All of you will be offended with me in this night: for it is written, I will strike the Shepherd, and scattered shall be his sheep.
28 Na sɛ miwu sɔre a, medi mo anim akɔ Galilea akohyia mo wɔ hɔ.”
But when I have arisen, I go before you into Galila.
29 Petro ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Sɛ nnipa nyinaa beguan agya wo a, me de, merenguan nnya wo da!”
Kipha saith to him, If all shall be offended with thee, yet I (will) not.
30 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Petro, nokware, anadwo yi, ansa na akokɔ bɛbɔn mprenu no, na woapa me mprɛnsa.”
Jeshu saith to him, Amen I tell thee, That thou, to-day, in this (very) night, before the cock shall crow, three times wilt deny me.
31 Petro de anibere kae se, “Merempa wo da! Sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ me ne wo wu mpo a, merempa wo da!” Saa ara na wɔn a aka no nyinaa nso kae.
But he the more said, If I shall die with thee, I will not deny thee, my Lord. And so also all of the disciples said.
32 Yesu ne nʼasuafo no duu faako a wɔfrɛ hɔ Getsemane no, ɔka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Montena ha, na merekɔbɔ mpae aba.”
And they came to the place which is called Gedsimon; and he said to his disciples, Sit here until I have prayed.
33 Ɔfaa Petro, Yakobo ne Yohane kaa ne ho, na ne ho fii ase yeraw no, na ɔyɛɛ basaa.
And he took with him Kipha and Jacub and Juchanon, and began to be sorrowful and agonized.
34 Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Awerɛhow ahyɛ me kra ma. Montena ha, na mo ne me nwɛn.”
And he said to them, My soul is afflicted unto death; wait for me here, and be watchful.
35 Ɔkɔɔ nʼanim kakra, kobutuw fam, bɔɔ mpae se, sɛ ebetumi a, saa ahoyeraw no ntwa ne ho nkɔ.
And he removed a little, and fell upon the earth, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
36 Ɔkae se, “Abba, Agya! Wutumi yɛ biribiara. Ma kuruwa yi ntwa me ho nkɔ. Nanso nea wopɛ na ɛnyɛ hɔ, na ɛnyɛ nea mepɛ.”
And he said, Father, my Father, thou canst (do) every thing, cause to pass from me this cup: but not my will, but thine.
37 Ɔsan bae no, obehuu asuafo baasa no sɛ wɔadeda. Obisaa Petro se, “Simon, woada? Woantumi ne me anwɛn dɔnhwerew baako pɛ mpo?
And he came and found them sleeping: and he said to Kipha, Shemun, dost thou sleep? couldst thou not one hour watch?
38 Monwɛn na mommɔ mpae na ɔsɔhwɛfo no anni mo so. Honhom no pɛ de, nanso ɔhonam no yɛ mmerɛw.”
Be wakeful and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit is willing and ready, but the body is infirm.
39 Ɔsan kɔɔ bio kɔbɔɔ mpae koro no ara.
And he went again, prayed, and said that word.
40 Ɔsan baa wɔn nkyɛn bio behuu sɛ wɔadeda, efisɛ na wɔabrɛbrɛ. Na wonhu nea wɔnka nkyerɛ no.
And he turned again, came and found them sleeping, because their eyes were made heavy, and they knew not what to say to him.
41 Ɔsan baa ne mprɛnsa so no, obisaa wɔn se. “Moda so adeda a morehome? Bere a ɛsɛ sɛ mode da no atwa mu. Wɔrebeyi me ahyɛ nnebɔneyɛfo nsa.
And he came three times (the third time), and said to them, Sleep on, and be at rest. The end approacheth, and the hour cometh, and, behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
42 Monsɔre na yɛnkɔ! Monhwɛ, nea ɔreyi me ama no na ɔreba no!”
Arise, we will go; behold, he draweth nigh who betrayeth me.
43 Ogu so rekasa no, Yuda a ɔyɛ nʼasuafo no mu baako ne dɔm a asɔfo mpanyin ne Yudafo mpanyin asoma wɔn ka ne ho a, wokurakura mfoa ne nkontimmaa baa hɔ.
And while he was speaking, Jihuda Scarjuta, one of the twelve, came, and with him a multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the Sophree and the elders.
44 Na Yuda aka akyerɛ wɔn dedaw se, “Nea mefew nʼafono no; ɔno ne nea morehwehwɛ no no. Monkyere no, na munso ne mu yiye mfa no nkɔ.”
And the traitor who betrayed had given to them a sign, and said, He whom I shall kiss is He: take him carefully and lead him.
45 Yuda kɔɔ Yesu nkyɛn kɔkae se, “Me Wura.” Afei ofew nʼafono, yɛɛ no atuu.
And immediately he approached, and said to him, Rabi, Rabi, and kissed him.
46 Ɛhɔ ara, na dɔm a wɔne Yuda nam no soo Yesu mu kyeree no.
Then they laid on him their hands and seized him.
47 Wɔn a wɔka Yesu ho no mu baako twee nʼafoa de twaa Ɔsɔfopanyin no akoa bi aso ma ɛtewee.
But one of those who stood drew a sword, and struck the servant of the high priest, and took off his ear.
48 Yesu bisaa wɔn se, “Meyɛ owudifo nti na mode afoa ne nkontimmaa aba me so rebɛkyere me ana?
But Jeshu answered and said to them, As against a robber are you come out against me, with swords and with staves to apprehend me?
49 Adɛn na bere a merekyerɛkyerɛ wɔ asɔredan mu hɔ no, moankyere me? Nanso eyinom nyinaa aba sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a nkɔm a wɔhyɛɛ wɔ me ho no bɛba mu.”
Every day with you was I teaching in the temple, and ye did not take me; but to fulfil the scriptures this is done.
50 Asuafo no nyinaa guan gyaa no.
Then his disciples forsook him and fled.
51 Aberante bi a ɔde nwera akata nʼadagyaw so dii nʼakyi.
But a certain youth followed him, and he was covered (with) a linen cloth, naked; and they laid hold on him:
52 Dɔm a wɔbɛkyeree Yesu no pɛɛ sɛ wɔkyere no, nanso ogyaw ne ntama no maa wɔn, de ne ho saa ara guanee.
but he left the linen cloth, and escaped naked.
53 Wɔde Yesu kɔɔ Ɔsɔfopanyin no anim no, ankyɛ na asɔfo mpanyin ne Yudafo mpanyin bi behyiaa hɔ.
And they led Jeshu to Kaiapha, chief of the priests: and were gathered together to him all the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
54 Bere a wɔde Yesu rekɔ no, Petro tew ne ho dii wɔn akyi, na owiawiaa ne ho kɔhyɛɛ Ɔsɔfopanyin no fi hɔ de ne ho kɔfraa asomfo bi a na wɔreto gya no mu.
But Shemun from afar came after him, until within the court of the chief of the priests: and he sat with the servants, and warmed (himself) at the fire.
55 Asɔfo mpanyin ne baguafo no nyinaa hwehwɛɛ sɛ wobenya asɛm bi atia Yesu, na wɔagyina so abu no kumfɔ. Nanso wɔannya bi.
But the chief priests and all the assembly of them sought against Jeshu testimony to put him to death, but they found not.
56 Nnipa pii bedii adansekurum tiaa Yesu, nanso wɔn nsɛm a wɔkaa no bɔɔ abira.
For when many bore witness against him, their testimonies were not equal.
57 Afei nnipa no bi kekaa nsɛm a enni mu too ne so se,
But men rose up against him, witnesses of falsehood, and said,
58 “Yɛtee sɛ ɔkae se, ‘Mebubu asɔredan a wɔde nsa na esii no, na mede nnansa asi foforo a wɔamfa nsa ansi!’”
We heard him say, I dissolve this temple which is made with hands, and in three days I build another not made with hands.
59 Na eyi mpo, wɔn adanse no anhyia.
But neither so was their testimony equal.
60 Ɔsɔfopanyin no sɔre gyinaa bagua no mfimfini bisaa Yesu se, “Eyi nso, wunni ho anoyi biara? Dɛn na wowɔ ka?”
And the chief of the priests arose in the midst, and questioned Jeshu, and said, Returnest thou no answer? what witness against thee these?
61 Yesu ammua no. Afei, Ɔsɔfopanyin no bisaa no bio se, “Wone Agyenkwa no, Onyankopɔn Ba no ana?”
But Jeshu was silent, and answered him nothing. And again the chief of the priests demanded, and said, Art thou the Meshicha, the Son of the Blessed?
62 Yesu buaa no se, “Mene no, na mubehu me sɛ mete Onyankopɔn nifa, na menam omununkum mu resan aba asase so.”
And he, Jeshu, said to him, I am: and you shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming upon the clouds of heaven.
63 Eyi maa Ɔsɔfopanyin no sunsuan nʼatade mu kae se, “Nnansefo bɛn na wɔn ho hia yɛn bio?
Then the chief of the priests tore his robe, and said, Why now seek we witnesses?
64 Mo nyinaa ate abususɛm a ɔkae no. Dɛn na mowɔ ka?” Wɔn nyinaa gye too mu se, ɔsɛ owu.
Behold, from his own lips you have heard the blasphemy: how is it seen by you? And they all judged that he was guilty of death.
65 Na ebinom tee ntasu guu no so, na wɔkyekyeree nʼani, na wɔbobɔɔ no akuturuku bisaa no se “Wuse woyɛ odiyifo, kyerɛ yɛn onipa ko a ɔbɔɔ wo!” Na asomfo a wɔde no rekɔ no bobɔɔ no asotɔre.
And some began to spit on his person, and they struck him on his face, and did buffet him, saying, Prophesy! and the servitors struck him upon his cheeks.
66 Bere a na Petro te adiwo hɔ no, Ɔsɔfopanyin no mmaawa no mu baako baa hɔ;
And Shemun being below in the court, there came a certain damsel of the chief of the priests.
67 na ohuu Petro sɛ ɔreto gya no, ɔhwɛɛ no haa, ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Wo nso wo ne Nasareni Yesu no na ɛnam!”
She saw him as he warmed (himself), and knew him, saying to him, Thou also wast with Jeshu Natsroia.
68 Petro sanee se, “Minnim nea woreka yi ho hwee!” Na ɛhɔ ara na ofii adi kɔtenaa ɔkwan no ano baabi. Saa bere no na akokɔ bɔn nea edi kan.
But he denied, and said, I know not what thou sayest. And he went without into the vestibule; and the cock crew.
69 Abaawa no san huu no wɔ hɔ no, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn a ɔne wɔn nam no se, “Oyi nso ka wɔn ho. Ɔyɛ Yesu asuafo no mu baako!”
And again that damsel saw him, and she began to say to those who were standing, This man is also of them.
70 Petro san bio. Ɛkyɛe kakra no, nnipa a wogyina ogya no ho no fii ase ka kyerɛɛ Petro se, “Woka wɔn ho, efisɛ woyɛ Galileani!”
But he again denied. And after a little while those who stood said to Kipha, Assuredly thou art from them, for thou art also a Galiloia, and thy speech is similar.
71 Petro fii ase kekaa ntam, dii nsew se, “Minnim saa onipa a moreka ne ho asɛm yi.”
But he began to imprecate and to swear, I know not this man of whom thou speakest. And in the hour the cock crew the second time.
72 Mpofirim, na akokɔ bɔn nea ɛto so abien. Na Petro kaee Yesu asɛm a ɔka kyerɛɛ no se, “Akokɔ remmɔn mprenu na woapa me mprɛnsa” no. Na ofii ase sui.
And Shemun remembered the word that Jeshu had spoken to him, That before the cock should crow twice, three times thou shalt deny me. And he began to weep.
