< Marko 10 >

1 Afei Yesu fii Galilea twa baa Yudea fam nohɔ wɔ Asubɔnten Yordan agya. Nnipakuw baa ne nkyɛn, na sɛnea ɔtaa yɛ no ɔkyerɛkyerɛɛ wɔn.
And, from thence, arising, he cometh into the bounds of Judaea and beyond the Jordan, —and there come together again, multitudes unto him, and, as he had been wont, again, was he teaching them.
2 Farisifo bi baa ne nkyɛn bebisaa no se, “Wopene awaregyae so ana?” Wobisaa no eyi de sɔɔ no hwɛe.
And Pharisees coming near were questioning him—whether it is allowed a husband to divorce a wife, testing him.
3 Yesu nso bisaa wɔn se, “Dɛn na Mose ka faa awaregyae ho?”
But, he, answering, said unto them—What unto you did, Moses, command?
4 Wobuae se, “Mose kaa se eye sɛ wogyae aware. Nʼasɛm a ɔkae ne sɛ, sɛ ɔbarima bi pɛ sɛ ogyaa ne yere aware a ɔnkyerɛw awaregyae krataa mfa mma ne yere no.”
And, they, said—Moses permitted, to write, a roll of dismissal, and to divorce.
5 Yesu bisaa wɔn se, “Adɛn nti na ɔkaa saa? Merebɛkyerɛ mo nea enti a ɔkaa saa. Esiane mo koma a apirim no nti na ɔkaa saa kyerɛɛ mo.
But, Jesus, said unto them—In view of your hardness of heart, wrote he for you this commandment;
6 Nanso eyi mfi Onyankopɔn. Efi adebɔ mfiase na Onyankopɔn bɔɔ ɔbarima ne ɔbea kaa wɔn bɔɔ mu.
But, from the beginning of creation, male and female, made he [them];
7 Eyi nti na ɔbarima begyaw nʼagya ne ne na,
For this cause, shall a man leave behind his father and mother,
8 na ɔde ne ho akɔbɔ ne yere ho, na wɔn baanu no ayɛ ɔhonam koro.
and, the two, shall become, one flesh; so that, no longer, are they two, but, one flesh.
9 Na nea Onyankopɔn aka abɔ mu no, ɛnsɛ sɛ onipa tetew mu.”
What then, God, hath yoked together, let, a man, not put asunder.
10 Akyiri a na ɔne nʼasuafo no wɔ fie no, asuafo no bisaa no saa asɛm koro no ara bio.
And, [coming] into the house again, the disciples, concerning this, were questioning him;
11 Obuaa wɔn se, “Sɛ obi gyaa ne yere aware na ɔsan ware obi foforo a na wabɔ aguaman.
and he saith unto them—Whosoever shall divorce his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her;
12 Na sɛ ɔyere gyaa ne kunu aware na ɔsan ware a, na ɔno nso abɔ aguaman saa ara.”
And, if, she, divorcing her husband, marry another, she committeth adultery.
13 Na awofo bi de mmofra nkumaa brɛɛ Yesu se onhyira wɔn, nanso nʼasuafo no pampam wɔn a wɔde mmofra no bae no, ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, wɔnnhaw no.
And they were bringing unto him children, that he might, touch, them, —the disciples, however, were rebuking them.
14 Yesu huu nea nʼasuafo no ayɛ no, anyɛ no dɛ na ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Momma mmofra no kwan na wɔmmra me nkyɛn, na munnsiw wɔn kwan, na eyinom sɛɛ na Onyankopɔn ahenni no yɛ wɔn dea.
But Jesus, seeing it, was greatly displeased, and said unto them—Suffer the children to come unto me, —do not hinder them; for, of such, is the kingdom of God.
15 Mereka akyerɛ mo se, obiara a ɔrennye Onyankopɔn ahenni no sɛ abofra no, ɔrentumi nhyɛn mu.”
Verily, I say unto you—Whosoever shall not welcome the kingdom of God, as a child, in nowise shall enter thereinto.
16 Na ɔyɛɛ wɔn atuu, de ne nsa guu wɔn so hyiraa wɔn.
And, folding them in his arms, he was blessing them, having laid his hands upon them.
17 Na osii mu sɛ ɔrekɔ baabi foforo no, ɔbarima bi tutuu mmirika baa ne nkyɛn bebuu no nkotodwe bisaa no se, “Kyerɛkyerɛfo pa, dɛn na menyɛ na manya nkwa a enni awiei?” (aiōnios g166)
And, as he was going forth into a road, one, running, and kneeling before him, was questioning him—Good Teacher! what shall I do that, life age—abiding, I may inherit? (aiōnios g166)
18 Yesu bisaa no se “Adɛn na wofrɛ me papa? Obiara nyɛ papa gye ɔbaako; ɔne Onyankopɔn.
And, Jesus, said unto him—Why callest thou me, good? None, is good, save one—God.
19 Ɛfa wʼasɛmmisa no ho nso, wunim mmaransɛm no: ‘Mmɔ aguaman! Nni awu! Mmɔ korɔn! Nni adansekurum! Di wʼagya ne wo na ni!’”
The commandments, thou knowest, —Do not commit murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal; Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honour thy father and mother.
20 Aberante no ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Kyerɛkyerɛfo, eyinom nyinaa mifi me mmofraase na midii so.”
And, he, said unto him—Teacher! all these things, have I kept, from my youth.
21 Yesu hwɛɛ aberante yi dinn, nyaa ɔdɔ bi maa no. Ɔka kyerɛɛ no se, “Aka wo ade baako. Kɔ na kɔtɔn biribiara a wowɔ, na fa sika no ma ahiafo, na wubenya agyapade wɔ ɔsoro, na bra bedi mʼakyi.”
And, Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said unto him—One thing, unto thee, is wanting; —Withdraw! whatsoever thou hast, sell, and give unto [the] destitute, —and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come! be following me.
22 Aberante no tee saa asɛm no nʼanim sesae, na ɔde awerɛhow kɔe, efisɛ na ɔwɔ ahonyade bebree.
And, he, becoming gloomy because of the word, departed sorrowing, for he was holding, many possessions.
23 Ɔrekɔ no, Yesu hwɛɛ no na ɔdan ne ho ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Ɛyɛ den ma ɔdefo sɛ ɔbɛkɔ Onyankopɔn ahenni mu!”
And, looking around, Jesus saith unto his disciples—With what difficulty, shall, they who have money, enter, into the kingdom of God!
24 Asɛm a Yesu kaa no maa asuafo no ho dwiriw wɔn. Yesu san kaa bio se, “Me mma, sɛ moahu den a ɛyɛ ma wɔn a wɔwɔ ahonyade sɛ wɔbɛkɔ Onyankopɔn ahenni mu?
And, the disciples, were in amazement, because of the words. But, Jesus, again answering, saith unto them—Children! how difficult, it is, to enter, into the kingdom of God!
25 Na ɛyɛ mmerɛw sɛ yoma bɛfa pane aniwa mu sen sɛ ɔdefo bɛkɔ Onyankopɔn ahenni mu.”
It is, easier, for a camel, through the eye of a needle, to pass, than for, a rich man, into the kingdom of God, to enter.
26 Asuafo no ho dwiriw wɔn mmoroso na wobisaa no se, “Ɛno de, na hena na wobegye no nkwa?”
And, they, were being exceedingly struck with astonishment, saying unto him—Who, then, can, be saved?
27 Yesu hwɛɛ wɔn dinn kae se, “Onipa fam de, ɛyɛ den, na Onyankopɔn fam de, biribiara betumi aba mu.”
Looking at them, Jesus saith—With men, impossible, but not, with God; for, all things, are possible, with God
28 Afei Petro fii ase kenkan nneɛma a ɔne asuafo no agyaw abedi Yesu akyi. Ɔkae se, “Yagyaw biribiara abedi wʼakyi.”
Peter began to be saying unto him—Lo! we, have left all, and followed thee!
29 Yesu nso buaa no se, “Merema mo ate ase sɛ, obi nni hɔ a me nti wagyaw ofi, nuabarimanom, nuabeanom, ɛna, agya ne mma anaasɛ agyapade a ɔbɛkɔ akɔka Asɛmpa no,
Jesus said—Verily, I say unto you—There is, no one, who hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me, and [for the sake of] the glad-message,
who shall not receive a hundredfold, now, in this season, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, —with persecutions, and, in the age that is coming, life age-abiding. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
31 Na adikanfo pii bedi akyi, na akyikafo abedi kan.”
But, many, shall be—first-last, and [the] Last-first.
32 Afei wosii mu sɛ wɔrekɔ Yerusalem a na Yesu di wɔn kan; na bere a asuafo no di nʼakyi no, ehu ne osuro kaa wɔn. Yesu twee wɔn gyinaa nkyɛn, na ɔsan kaa nneɛma a sɛ wodu Yerusalem a ɛbɛba ne so no nyinaa kyerɛɛ wɔn.
Now they were in the way, going up unto Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on before them, —and they were in amazement; and, they who followed, were in fear. And, taking unto himself, again, the twelve, he began to be saying unto them, as to the things about to befall him—
33 Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Sɛ yedu hɔ a wobeyi me, Onipa Ba no ama asɔfo mpanyin ne Kyerɛwsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfo, na wɔabu me kumfɔ, na wɔde me ahyɛ Roma aban nsa, na wɔakum me.
Lo! we are going up unto Jerusalem; and, the Son of Man, will be delivered up, unto the Chief-priests and the Scribes, —and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him up unto the nations;
34 Wobedi me ho fɛw, na wɔatete ntasu agu me so, na wɔde mpire atwa me mmaa, na wɔakum me, na nnansa so no, masɔre bio.”
And they will mock him, and spit upon him, and scourge him, and, slay; —and, after three days, will he, arise.
35 Afei Sebedeo mma Yakobo ne Yohane baa Yesu nkyɛn bɛka kyerɛɛ no se, “Kyerɛkyerɛfo, yɛpɛ sɛ woyɛ yɛn adɔe bi.”
And there come near unto him, James and John, the [two] sons of Zebedee, —saying unto him—Teacher! we desire, that, whatsoever we shall ask thee, thou wilt do for us.
36 Yesu bisaa wɔn se, “Dɛn na mopɛ sɛ meyɛ ma mo?”
But, he, said unto them—What desire ye, I should do for you?
37 Wobuae se, “Ma yɛn mu baako ntena wo nifa so, na ɔbaako nso ntena wo benkum so wɔ wʼahenni mu hɔ!”
And, they, said unto him—Grant us, that, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left, we may sit, in thy glory.
38 Yesu maa wɔn mmuae se, “Munnim nea mubisa no! Mubetumi anom awerɛhow kuruwa nwenweenwen a ɛsɛ sɛ menom ano no ana? Anaasɛ mubetumi ama wɔde amanehunu asubɔ no abɔ mo asu?”
But, Jesus, said unto them—Ye know not what ye are asking: Are ye able to drink the cup that, I, am to drink? or to be immersed, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed?
39 Wɔka kyerɛɛ no se, “Yebetumi!” Na Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Mubetumi anom me kuruwa ano, na wɔde asubɔ a wɔde bɔ me no abɔ mo;
And, they, said unto him—We are able. And, Jesus, said unto them—The cup which, I, am to drink, ye shall drink, and, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed, shall ye be immersed;
40 nanso minni tumi sɛ miyi wɔn a wɔbɛtena me nifa anaa me benkum so no. Onyankopɔn nko ara na ɔde saa afa no bɛma wɔn a wɔasiesie hɔ ama wɔn no.”
But, to sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, except unto them for whom it hath been prepared.
41 Asuafo a wɔaka no tee nea Yakobo ne Yohane kobisaa no, anyɛ wɔn dɛ.
And the ten, hearing, began to be sorely displeased, concerning James and John.
42 Enti Yesu frɛɛ wɔn ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Munim sɛ ahene ne atumfo a wɔwɔ wiase no di wɔn a wɔhyɛ wɔn ase no so,
And Jesus, calling them near, saith unto them—Ye know that, they who think to rule the nations, lord it over them, and, their great ones, wield authority over them;
43 nanso mo de, ɛnte saa wɔ mo ho. Obiara a ɔpɛ sɛ ɔyɛ ɔkɛse wɔ mo mu no, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔyɛ mo somfo.
But, not so, it is, among you. But, whosoever desireth to become, great, among you, shall be, your minister,
44 Na obiara a ɔpɛ sɛ ɔyɛ ne nuanom so panyin no ɛsɛ sɛ ɔyɛ wɔn nyinaa akoa.
And, whosoever desireth, among you, to be, first, shall be, servant of all;
45 Onipa Ba no amma sɛ wɔnsom no, na mmom ɔbɛsomee, na ɔde ne kra too hɔ sɛ mpata maa nnipa nyinaa.”
For, even the Son of Man, came not to be ministered unto, but minister, —and to give his life, a ransom instead of many.
46 Yesu ne nʼasuafo no beduu Yeriko. Wɔrefi kurow no mu no, nnipakuw tu dii wɔn akyi. Saa bere a Yesu retwa mu no, na onifuraefo Bartimeo a ne din nkyerɛase ne “Timoteo ba” no te kwankyɛn resrɛsrɛ ade.
And they come into Jericho. And, as he was journeying forth from Jericho, and his disciples, and a considerable multitude, the son of Timaeus, blind Bar-Timaeus, a beggar, was sitting beside the road.
47 Bere a Bartimeo tee sɛ Yesu Nasareni na ɔretwam no, ofii ase teɛteɛɛ mu se, “Dawid Ba Yesu, hu me mmɔbɔ!”
And, hearing that it was, Jesus the Nazarene, he began to be crying aloud, and saying—O Son of David! Jesus! have mercy on me.
48 Nnipa no bi teɛteɛɛ no se, “Mua wʼano!” Nanso ɔkɔɔ so teɛteɛɛ mu dennen se, “Dawid ba, hu me mmɔbɔ!”
And many were rebuking him, that he might hold his peace; but, he, so much the more, was crying aloud, O Son of David, have mercy on me.
49 Bere a Yesu tee ne nne no, ogyina kae se, “Momfrɛ no mma me.” Wɔfrɛɛ onifuraefo no ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Ma wo bo ntɔ wo yam, sɔre na ɔrefrɛ wo!”
And, coming to a stand, Jesus said—Call him! And they call the blind man, saying unto him—Take courage! rise! he calleth thee!
50 Bartimeo tow ne ntama gui, sɔre baa Yesu nkyɛn.
And, he, throwing off his mantle—springing to his feet, came unto Jesus.
51 Yesu bisaa no se, “Dɛn na wopɛ sɛ meyɛ ma wo?” Onifuraefo no buae se, “Kyerɛkyerɛfo, mepɛ sɛ mihu ade!”
And, answering him, Jesus said—What desirest thou, I should do for thee? And, the blind man, said unto him—Rabboni! that may recover sight.
52 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Kɔ, na wo gyidi agye wo.” Na ntɛm ara onifuraefo no huu ade, na odii Yesu akyi.
And, Jesus, said unto him—Go thy way! thy faith, hath saved thee. And, straightway, he recovered sight, and was following him in the road.
