For, behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 Nanso mo a mode nidi ma me din no, trenee owia bepue ama mo, na ɛde ayaresa bɛba. Na mubepue na moahuruhuruw te sɛ nantwimma a wɔabue wɔn afi wɔn buw mu.
But to you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and you shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 Na mubetiatia atirimɔdenfo so; wɔbɛyɛ nsõ wɔ mo anan ase, da a mɛyɛ saa nneɛma yi,” sɛnea Asafo Awurade se ni.
And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, says the LORD of hosts.
4 “Monkae mʼakoa Mose mmara, ahyɛde ne mmara a mede maa no wɔ Horeb so se ɔmfa mma Israelfo nyinaa.
Remember you the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5 “Mɛsoma Odiyifo Elia aba mo nkyɛn, ansa na Awurade da kɛse a ɛyɛ hu no aba.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6 Ɔbɛdan agyanom koma akɔ wɔn mma so na wadan mma nso koma akɔ agyanom so, anyɛ saa a mede nnome bɛba abɛsɛe asase no.”
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
