< Luka 24 >

1 Kwasida anɔpahema na mmea no de nnuhuam ne ngo no kɔɔ ɔboda no so.
But on the first (day) in the week, in the morning, while yet dark, they came to the sepulchre, and brought those aromatics which they had prepared;
2 Woduu hɔ no wohuu sɛ wɔapirew ɔbo a wɔde hinii ɔboda no ano no afi hɔ.
and with them there were other women. And they found the stone rolled from the sepulchre,
3 Na wɔkɔɔ ɔboda no mu no na Yesu amu no nna hɔ.
and entered, but found not the body of Jeshu.
4 Wogyinagyina hɔ a wonhu nea wɔnyɛ no, mpofirim na mmarima baanu bi a wɔhyehyɛ ntade fitafitaa a ani hyerɛn begyinagyinaa wɔn nkyɛn.
And it was that while they were amazed at this, behold, two men stood over against them, and whose raiment shined;
5 Mmea yi koma tui, na wɔkotokotow wɔn, na mmarima no bisaa wɔn se, “Adɛn nti na morehwehwɛ ɔteasefo wɔ awufo mu?
and they were in fear, and bowed their faces to the earth. And they said to them, Why are you seeking the living with the dead?
6 Onni ha. Wasɔre! Monnkae asɛm a ɔka kyerɛɛ mo bere a na ɔwɔ Galilea no se,
He is not here, he is risen. Remember what he spake with you while he was in Galila,
7 ‘Etwa sɛ wɔde Onipa Ba no hyɛ nnebɔneyɛfo nsa na wɔbɔ no asennua mu na ne nnansa so wasɔre bio’ no?”
and (when he) said, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of men of sins, and he will be crucified, and (in) the third of the days he will arise.
8 Mmea no kaee asɛm no.
And they remembered his words,
9 Na wɔde ahoɔhare fii ɔboda no so bɛkaa nea wohui no nyinaa kyerɛɛ asuafo dubaako no ne wɔn a wɔwɔ hɔ no nyinaa.
and returned from the sepulchre, and told all these (things) unto the eleven, and to the rest.
10 Mmea a wɔkɔɔ ɔboda no so a wɔbɛkaa saa asɛm yi ne Maria Magdalene ne Yohana ne Yakobo na Maria ne afoforo bi.
Now it was Mariam Magdalitha, Juchanon, and Mariam his mother, and Jacub, and the rest who were with them, who told these (occurrences) to the apostles.
11 Wɔn nsɛm a wɔbɛkae no yɛɛ wɔn sɛ anansesɛm bi nti wɔannye anni.
And these words appeared in their eyes as dreams, and they believed them not.
12 Ɛwɔ mu sɛ nnipa no annye asɛm no anni de, nanso Petro de, otuu mmirika kɔɔ ɔboda no so kɔkotow hwɛɛ mu, huu sɛ nwera a wɔde kyekyeree Yesu ho no gu hɔ. Ɔsan baa fie a na ɔnte nea ohuu no ase.
But Shemun arose, and ran to the sepulchre, and, looking in, he saw the linen clothes lying apart; and he went away, wondering in himself at what was done.
13 Da no ara asuafo no mu baanu sii mu sɛ wɔrekɔ akuraa bi a wɔfrɛ no Emaus a efi Yerusalem rekɔ hɔ no bɛyɛ sɛ akwansin ason.
AND, behold, two of them in that day went to a village whose name was Emaos, and distant from Urishlem sixty stadia.
14 Wɔrekɔ no nyinaa na asɛm a asi no ho nkɔmmɔ ara na wɔredi.
And they talked one with the other of all these (events) which had happened.
15 Wogu so redi nkɔmmɔ na wɔregye wɔn ho akyinnye no, Yesu bɛkaa wɔn ho ne wɔn bɔɔ anan kɔe.
And while they discoursed and investigated one with the other, Jeshu himself came and went with them, and walked with them.
16 Wohuu sɛ obi ka wɔn ho de, nanso wɔantumi anhu sɛ ɛyɛ Yesu.
And their eyes were holden, that they should not know him.
17 Obisaa wɔn se, “Nkɔmmɔ bɛn na moredi a mo werɛ ahow mo ho yi?”
And he said to them, What are these words that you speak with each other, as you walk and are sad?
18 Na wɔn mu baako a wɔfrɛ no Kleopa bisaa no se, “Wo nko ara ne ɔhɔho a wowɔ Yerusalem a wontee nsɛm a asisi wɔ hɔ nnansa yi?”
And one of them answered, whose name was Kleopha, and said to him, Art thou only a stranger from Urishlem, who knowest not what hath been done in it in these days?
19 Obisaa wɔn se, “Nsɛm bɛn?” Wobuaa no se, “Nsɛm a ɛfa Nasareni Yesu a ɔyɛ odiyifo a ɔwɔ tumi wɔ nneyɛe ne ɔkasa mu wɔ Onyankopɔn ne nnipa nyinaa anim no ho,
He saith to them, What? They say to him, Concerning Jeshu, who was of Natsrath, a man who was a prophet, and mighty in word and in deed before Aloha, and before all the people.
20 ne sɛnea asɔfo mpanyin ne yɛn mpanyimfo kyeree no de no kɔɔ aban mu se wommu no kumfɔ a wɔbɔɔ no asennua mu no ho.
And the chief priests and elders delivered him to the judgment of death, and crucified him.
21 Yɛn de, na yɛn ani da so sɛ ɔno na ɔrebegye Israel, na nea ɛka ho ne sɛ nnansa ni a saa asɛm yi sii.
But we had hoped that it was he who shall redeem Isroel; and, lo, three days (have passed) since all these things were done.
22 Na mmea bi nso a wɔyɛ Yesu akyidifo sɛ yɛn ara ama yɛn ho adwiriw yɛn. Wɔkɔɔ ɔboda no so anɔpa yi ara,
But women also of us have astonished us; for they were before at the sepulchre;
23 nanso wɔanhu nʼamu no. Wɔsan bɛka kyerɛɛ yɛn se, wɔahu ɔsoro abɔfo ma wɔaka akyerɛ wɔn se, Yesu te ase.
and when they found not his body, they came and told us that angels they had seen there, and (that) they had said concerning him that he was alive.
24 Yɛn mu ebinom tuu mmirika kɔhwɛe, na ampa ara, na Yesu amu no nni hɔ sɛnea mmea no kae no ara pɛ.”
And some also of us went to the sepulchre, and found even as the women had said, but him they saw not.
25 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Adwenharefo a munni gyidi; ɛyɛ mo den sɛ mubegye nea adiyifo no aka no nyinaa adi.
Then said Jeshu to them, O wanting in understanding, and hard of heart to believe all the things which the prophets have spoken!
26 Wɔanhyɛ ho nkɔm se, ɛsɛ sɛ Kristo no behu amane ansa na wakɔ nʼanuonyam mu ana?”
Was it not to be that these the Meshicha should suffer, and enter into his glory?
27 Na ofii Mose ne adiyifo no so kyerɛkyerɛɛ wɔn nsɛm a ɛfa ne ho wɔ Kyerɛwsɛm no mu no nyinaa ase.
And, beginning from Musha and all the prophets, he explained to them concerning himself from all the scriptures.
28 Woduu Emaus kurotia no, Yesu pɛɛ sɛ anka ɔtoa nʼakwantu no so.
And they drew near to that village to which they were going; and he made them suppose that to a more distant place he was going.
29 Nanso wɔsrɛɛ no, san no sɛ ɔnna wɔn nkyɛn, na na ade reyɛ asa nti, ɔsan ne wɔn kɔɔ fie.
And they constrained him, and said to him, Abide with us, because the day now inclines to darken. And he went in to remain with them.
30 Bere a wɔte adidii no, Yesu bɔɔ mpae daa Onyankopɔn ase, faa brodo bubuu mu de maa wɔn.
And it was that, while he reclined with them, he took bread, and blessed, and brake, and gave to them.
31 Afei na wɔn ani so tetew wɔn ma wohuu sɛ ɛyɛ Yesu. Ɛhɔ ara na otu yerae.
And at once their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he was taken from them.
32 Wobisabisaa wɔn ho wɔn ho se, “So Kyerɛwsɛm no mu nsɛm a ɔka kyerɛɛ yɛn wɔ bere a na yɛnam ɔkwan so no anka yɛn koma mpo?”
And they said one to the other, Did not our hearts burn within us, while he spake with us by the way, and explained to us the scriptures?
33 Ntɛm ara na wɔsan wɔn akyi baa Yerusalem bɛtoo asuafo dubaako no ne wɔn a na wɔka wɔn ho no sɛ wɔahyia.
And they arose in the same hour, and returned to Urishlem, and found the eleven, who were assembled, and they who were with them,
34 Woduu hɔ no, wɔbɔɔ wɔn amanneɛ se, “Ampa ara, Awurade asɔre afi awufo mu. Wayi ne ho adi akyerɛ Simon.”
saying, Assuredly our Lord is risen, and hath appeared unto Shemun.
35 Baanu a wofi Emaus bae no nso bɔɔ wɔn amanneɛ sɛnea Yesu bɛtoo wɔn Emaus kwan so na wɔantumi anhu sɛ ɛyɛ ɔno kosii bere a obubuu brodo mu de maa wɔn no ansa.
And they also declared those things which had happened in the way, and how he was made known to them while he brake the bread.
36 Wogu so rebɔ amanneɛ no, prɛko pɛ na Yesu beduu hɔ, kyiaa wɔn se, “Asomdwoe nka mo!”
AND while they were discoursing, Jeshu stood among them, and said to them, Peace be with you!
37 Wɔn nyinaa bobɔɔ piriw, wosuroe, efisɛ na wosusuw sɛ wɔahu ɔsaman.
I am; fear not. And they were troubled, and were in fear; for they thought they beheld a spirit.
38 Obisaa wɔn se, “Adɛn na mo koma atutu na munnye nni nso sɛ ɛyɛ me?
Jeshu saith to them, Why are you perturbed, and why arise thoughts in your hearts?
39 Monhwɛ me nsam ne me nan. Ɛyɛ me! Momfa mo nsa nka me nhwɛ; efisɛ ɔsaman nni honam ne nnompe sɛnea muhu sɛ mewɔ bi yi.”
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I: feel me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as you see that I have.
40 Ɔkasa wiee no, ɔde ne nsa ne ne nan kyerɛɛ wɔn.
And while these words he spake, he showed them his hands and his feet.
41 Anigyetraso ne ahodwiriw nti amma wɔannye anni sɛ ɛyɛ ɔno. Obisaa wɔn se, “Mowɔ biribi wɔ ha a mubedi ana?”
And while they as yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have you here somewhat to eat?
42 Wɔmaa no apataa sin bi a wɔatoto
And they gave to him a portion of broiled fish, and of the comb of honey;
43 ma ogye wee wɔ wɔn anim hɔ ara.
and he took (and) did eat before their eyes.
44 Na ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Eyi ne me nsɛm a meka kyerɛɛ mo bere a na me ne mo wɔ hɔ no se, ɛsɛ sɛ biribiara a wɔakyerɛw afa me ho wɔ Mose Mmara ne Adiyifo nhoma ne Nnwom mu no ba mu.”
And he said to them, These are the words that I spoke with you while I was with you, that every thing must be fulfilled which is written in the law of Musha, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning me.
45 Afei obuee wɔn adwene mu ma wɔtee Kyerɛwsɛm a ɛfa ne ho no ase.
Then opened he their minds, that they might understand the scriptures.
46 Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Wɔakyerɛw se, ɛsɛ sɛ Kristo no hu amane na owu na ne nnansa so, wasɔre afi awufo mu.
And he said to them, that so it is written, and so it was just, that the Meshicha should suffer, and should rise from among the dead in the three days,
47 Na wobefi ase wɔ Yerusalem de ne din akɔka adwensakra ne bɔnefakyɛ ho nsɛm akyerɛ amansan.
and that in his name should be preached repentance and the forgiveness of sins among all nations, and that the commencement should be from Urishlem.
48 Mone eyinom nyinaa ho nnansefo.
And you are the witnesses of these. And I will send upon you the promise of my Father.
49 Mɛsoma Honhom Kronkron no na waba mo so sɛnea mʼagya hyɛɛ ho bɔ no. Na monnkɔ baabiara; montena ha nkosi sɛ Honhom Kronkron no de tumi a efi ɔsoro no bɛba abɛhyɛ mo ma.”
But await you in Urishlem the city until you be clothed with power from on high.
50 Yesu ne asuafo no bɔɔ anan koduu Betania kurotia na ɔmaa ne nsa so hyiraa wɔn.
And he brought them out unto Bethania, and lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 Ogu so rehyira wɔn no, wɔmaa no so kɔɔ ɔsoro.
And it was that while he blessed them, he was separated from them, and he ascended to the heavens.
52 Na wɔsɔree no, de anigye san kɔɔ Yerusalem.
And they worshipped him, and returned to Urishlem with great joy. And at all time were they in the temple,
53 Na daa wɔwɔ asɔredan no mu hɔ yi Onyankopɔn ayɛ.
praising and blessing Aloha. Amen.
