< Yohane 21 >

1 Akyiri no Yesu yii ne ho adi bio wɔ Tiberia Po ho kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no mu bi. Ɔkwan a ɔfaa so yii ne ho adi kyerɛɛ wɔn no ni:
After these things Jesus, risen from the dead, revealed Himself to His disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and He did it like this:
2 Saa bere no na Simon Petro ne Toma (a wɔfrɛ no Ata), ne Natanael a ofi Kana a ɛwɔ Galilea ne Sebedeo mma ne Yesu asuafo no mu baanu na na wɔwɔ faako.
Simon Peter, Thomas (called Twin), Nathanael (from Cana of Galilee), Zebedee's sons and two others of His disciples were together.
3 Wɔwɔ hɔ no, Petro ka kyerɛɛ wɔn a wɔaka no se, “Merekoyi nam.” Wɔn a na wɔka ne ho no ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Yɛne wo bɛkɔ.” Wɔn nyinaa kɔtenaa ɔkorow mu, nanso saa anadwo no wɔanyi nam biara.
Simon Peter says to them, “I'm going fishing.” They say to him, “We're coming with you.” Off they went and got right into the boat, and that whole night they caught nothing.
4 Ade kyee anɔpa a anim retetew no, Yesu begyinaa mpoano hɔ, nanso na asuafo no nnim sɛ ɛyɛ ɔno.
Well when daybreak had now come Jesus stood on the beach; however the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
5 Ɔfrɛɛ asuafo no bisaa wɔn se, “Anuanom, moayi nam bi ana?” Wobuae se, “Dabi.”
Then Jesus says to them, “Boys, you don't have any food, do you?” They answered Him, “No.”
6 Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Mungu mo asau no wɔ nifa fam na mubeyi nam.” Woguu asau no sɛnea ɔkae no. Nam yɛɛ asau no ma sɛɛ tɔ a na wɔtwe a ɛntwe.
So He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat and you will find.” So they did, and now they were unable to haul it in because of the multitude of fish!
7 Afei osuani a Yesu dɔ no no ka kyerɛɛ Petro se, “Ɛyɛ Awurade.” Bere a Simon Petro tee sɛ ɛyɛ Awurade no ɔhyɛɛ nʼatade, (efisɛ na waworɔw) huruw tɔɔ asu no mu guare kɔɔ mpoano hɔ.
Then that disciple whom Jesus loved says to Peter, “It's the Lord!” Upon hearing that it was the Lord, Simon Peter tied on his outer garment (for he was stripped) and plunged into the sea.
8 Asuafo a wɔaka no tenaa ɔkorow no mu baa mpoano hɔ bi. Wɔreba no na wɔretwe asau a na nam ahyɛ no ma sɛɛ tɔ. Ɔkwan a efi faako a wɔwɔ wɔ po no so ba mpoano hɔ no bɛyɛ mita ɔha.
But the other disciples came in the little boat dragging the net with the fish (for they were not far from the land, but about 100 yards).
9 Woduu mpoano hɔ no wohuu sɛ obi asɔ ogya retoto nam na brodo bi nso gu nkyɛn.
Then, as they stepped onto the land they saw a charcoal fire in place with fish lying on it, and bread.
10 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Momfa nam a moayi no bi mmra.”
Jesus says to them, “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.”
11 Simon Petro foro kɔɔ ɔkorow no mu kɔtwee asau a na nam akɛse bɛyɛ ɔha aduonum abiɛsa wɔ mu no baa mpoano hɔ. Ɛwɔ mu sɛ na nam ayɛ asau no ma de, nanso antetew.
Simon Peter got up and dragged the net onto the land, full of one hundred and fifty-three large fish; and although being so many, the net was not torn.
12 Yesu frɛɛ wɔn se, “Mummedidi.” Asuafo no mu biara ammisa no onipa ko a ɔyɛ efisɛ na wonim sɛ ɛyɛ Awurade.
Jesus says to them, “Come have breakfast!” Well not one of the disciples dared to ask Him, “Who are you?”—knowing that it was the Lord.
13 Yesu faa brodo no kyekyɛ maa wɔn. Eyi akyi no, ɔkyɛɛ nam no nso maa wɔn.
Then Jesus comes and takes the bread and gives it to them, as also the fish.
14 Eyi ne ne mprɛnsa so a Yesu sɔre fii awufo mu no, oyii ne ho adi kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no.
This was already a third time that Jesus appeared to His disciples after He was raised from among the dead.
15 Wodidi wiei no, Yesu bisaa Simon Petro se, “Yohane ba Simon, wodɔ me sen sɛnea eyinom dɔ me no ana?” Petro buae se, “Yiw, Awurade, wunim sɛ medɔ wo.” Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Yɛn me nguamma.”
So, when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus says to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He says to Him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I'm fond of you.” He says to him, “Feed my lambs.”
16 Yesu san bisaa no se, “Yohane ba Simon, wodɔ me ana?” Petro san buae se, “Yiw, Awurade, wunim sɛ medɔ wo.” Yesu san ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Hwɛ me nguan.”
He says to him again, a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He says to Him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I'm fond of you.” He says to him, “Shepherd my sheep.”
17 Yesu bisaa no ne mprɛnsa so se, “Yohane ba Simon, ampa ara sɛ wodɔ me?” Asɛm yi yɛɛ Petro awerɛhow sɛ Yesu abisa no saa asɛm koro no ara mprɛnsa. Enti ɔka kyerɛɛ Yesu se, “Awurade, wunim biribiara, na wunim nso sɛ medɔ wo!” Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Yɛn me nguan.
The third time He says to him, “Simon, son of Jonah, are you fond of me?” Peter was grieved in that the third time He said to him, “Are you fond of me?” and said to Him: “Lord, you know all things. You know that I'm fond of you!” Jesus says to him: “Feed my sheep.
18 Meka nokware akyerɛ wo.
Most assuredly I say to you, when you were younger you used to get dressed and walk where you wished; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands and another will dress you and carry you where you do not wish.”
19 Asɛm a Yesu kaa no de kyerɛɛ owu ko a Petro bewu de ahyɛ Onyankopɔn anuonyam. Yesu ka kyerɛɛ Petro se, “Di mʼakyi.”
(He said this to indicate the kind of death by which he would glorify God.) And upon saying that He says to him, “Follow me!”
20 Petro twaa nʼani hwɛɛ nʼakyi huu sɛ osuani a Yesu dɔ no no di wɔn akyi. Saa osuani yi ne obi a wɔredidi no, otwiw bɛn Yesu bisaa no se, “Awurade, hena na obeyi wo ama?” no.
But turning around Peter sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following (that is the one who reclined on His chest at the supper and said, “Lord, who is the one who is betraying you?”).
21 Petro huu saa osuani no, obisaa Yesu se, “Awurade, na oyi nso dɛn na ɛbɛto no?”
Seeing him, Peter says to Jesus, “Lord, what about him?”
22 Yesu buaa no se, “Sɛ mepɛ sɛ ɔtena hɔ kosi sɛ mɛsan aba a, ɛfa wo ho bɛn? Wo de, di mʼakyi.”
Jesus says to him: “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me.”
23 Asɛm a Yesu ka faa saa osuani yi ho no maa Yesu akyidifo no mu pii susuw sɛ, saa osuani no renwu da. Nanso na ɛnyɛ nea Yesu hwehwɛ akyerɛ ne no, bere a ɔkae se, “Sɛ mepɛ sɛ ɔtena hɔ kosi sɛ mɛsan aba a, ɛfa wo ho bɛn?”
So this saying spread among the brothers, that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him [Peter] that he [John] would not die, but, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”
24 Saa osuani yi ne onipa a odi eyinom nyinaa ho adanse na ɔkyerɛw nso. Yenim sɛ nʼadansedi no yɛ nokware.
This is the disciple who is testifying to these things, and who wrote them; and we know that his testimony is true.
25 Nneɛma bebree wɔ hɔ nso a Yesu yɛe a wɔankyerɛw, na sɛ wɔkyerɛw no mmaako mmaako a, anka migye di sɛ ɛrensen wiase.
Indeed, there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that not even the whole world could contain the books that would be written! Amen.
