< Yohane 2 >
And the third day a wedding occurred in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
2 na wɔato nsa afrɛ Yesu ne nʼasuafo no nso aba hɔ bi.
And Jesus also was invited, and his disciples, to the wedding.
3 Wogu so regye wɔn ani no, ayeforo no ase nsa sa maa Yesu ne na kɔɔ Yesu nkyɛn kɔka kyerɛɛ no se, “Wɔn nsa a wɔrenom no asa.”
And having lacked wine the mother of Jesus says to him, They have no wine.
4 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ ne na se, “Dɛn na wopɛ sɛ meyɛ? Me bere nnya nnui.”
And Jesus says to her, What is with me and with thee, woman? My hour is not yet here.
5 Ne na ka kyerɛɛ asomfo no se, “Biribiara a ɔbɛka se monyɛ no, monyɛ.”
His mother says to the helpers, Whatever he may say to you, do.
Now there were six stone water pots laying there in accordance with the purification of the Jews, containing two or three measures each.
7 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ asomfo no se, “Momfa nsu nhyehyɛ ahina no amaama.” Wɔde nsu hyɛɛ no amaama.
Jesus says to them, Fill the water pots with water. And they filled them until over.
8 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Monsaw bi nkɔma onipa a ayeforo no ho ntotoe hyɛ ne nsa no.”
And he says to them, Draw out now, and carry to the feast-ruler. And they carried.
9 Nea ayeforo no ho ntotoe hyɛ ne nsa no kaa nsu a adan nsa no hwɛe. Ɔfrɛɛ ayeforokunu no
And when the feast-ruler tasted the water that became wine, and had not known from where it was (but the helpers who drew the water had known), the feast-ruler called the bridegroom,
10 ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Saa nsa yi yɛ nsa pa. Wonte sɛ afoforo a wɔaka no. Obiara a ɔto pon de nsa pa di kan ba wɔ nʼaponto ase, na akyiri no ɔde nsa a enni mu aba. Nanso wo de, wode nsa pa no atwa to!”
and says to him, Every man sets out the good wine first, and when they drank much, then the lesser. Thou have kept the good wine until now.
11 Saa nsɛnkyerɛnne a Yesu yɛɛ wɔ Kana a ɛwɔ Galilea asase so no ne nsɛnkyerɛnne a edi kan a ɔyɛɛ wɔ bagua mu de kyerɛɛ sɛ ne tumi fi ɔsoro. Ɛmaa nʼasuafo no nso gyee no dii sɛ, ampa ara, ɔno ne Agyenkwa no.
This is the beginning of the signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and he manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.
12 Ayeforohyia no akyi no, ɔne ne na ne ne nuanom ne nʼasuafo no dii nna kakra wɔ Kapernaum.
After this he went down to Capernaum, he and his mother and his brothers and his disciples. And they remained there not many days.
13 Esiane sɛ na Yudafo Twam Afahyɛ no rebedu nti, Yesu kɔɔ Yerusalem.
And the Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 Oduu asɔredan no mu hɔ no, ohuu sɛ aguadifo bi nso tete wɔn apon akyi resesa sika.
And he found sitting in the temple those who sell oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers.
15 Yesu faa ntampehama yɛɛ no mpire de pam sikasesafo no ne wɔn nguan ne wɔn anantwi no fii asɔredan mu hɔ, kaa wɔn apon gu maa wɔn sika a wɔresesa no nyinaa bɔ pansamee.
And having made a whip from cords, he drove all out from the temple, both the sheep and the oxen. And he poured out the coins of the moneychangers, and turned over their tables.
16 Afei ɔkɔɔ wɔn a wɔtɔn mmorɔnoma no so ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Monsesaw wɔn mfi ha nkɔ ntɛm! Munnyae sɛ mode mʼAgya fi ayɛ aguadibea no!”
And he said to those who sell the doves, Take these things from here. Make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
17 Asuafo no kae se, wɔakyerɛw wɔ Kyerɛwsɛm no mu se, “Wo fi yiyedi ho dadwen ahyɛ me so.”
And his disciples remembered that it is written, Zeal for thy house will consume me.
18 Afei Yudafo mpanyin no bisaa Yesu se, “Tumi bɛn na wowɔ a enti wopam nnipa no? Yɛ nsɛnkyerɛnne bi fa di adanse sɛ Onyankopɔn na ɔmaa wo saa tumi no.”
The Jews therefore answered, and said to him, What sign do thou show us since thou do these things?
19 Yesu buaa wɔn se, “Mate nea moaka no. Nsɛnkyerɛnne a mede bedi adanse ara ne sɛ, mummubu asɔredan yi ngu na mede nnansa besi bio.”
Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Yudafo mpanyin no tee asɛm a Yesu kae no, wobisaa no se, “Asɔredan a wɔde mfe aduanan asia sii no, na wode nnansa betumi asi?”
The Jews therefore said, This temple was forty-six years being built, and will thou raise it up in three days?
But that man spoke about the temple of his body.
22 Yesu wusɔre no akyi ansa na asuafo no kaee asɛm a ɔkae no. Eyi ma wogyee Kyerɛwsɛm ne nsɛm a Yesu kae no dii.
When therefore he was raised from the dead his disciples remembered that he spoke this, and they believed the scripture and the word that Jesus said.
23 Bere a Twam Afahyɛ no duu a na Yesu wɔ Yerusalem no, nsɛnkyerɛnne ahorow bebree maa nnipa gyee no dii.
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover during the feast, many believed in his name seeing his signs that he did.
But Jesus did not trust himself to them, because he knew all men,
25 Na onhia onipa adanse a obedi afa onipa ho, efisɛ na onim nea ɛwɔ onipa mu.
and because he had no need that any man should testify about man, for he himself knew what was in man.
