< Yohane 14 >

1 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Mommma mo koma ntu. Munnye Onyankopɔn nni na munnye me nso nni.
Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me.
2 Tenabea bebree wɔ mʼAgya fi, ɛno nti merekɔ akosiesie baabi ama mo. Sɛ asɛm a mereka yi nyɛ nokware a anka merenka nkyerɛ mo.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 Na sɛ mekɔ na mikosiesie baabi ma mo a, mɛsan aba abɛfa mo akɔ na me ne mo akɔtena.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
4 Munim faako a merekɔ no ne ɔkwan ko a mobɛfa so aba hɔ bi.”
And where I go you know, and the way you know.
5 Toma bisaa no se, “Awurade yennim faako a worekɔ na yɛbɛyɛ dɛn ahu ɔkwan aba hɔ bi?”
Thomas says to him, Lord, we know not where you go; and how can we know the way?
6 Yesu buae se, “Mene ɔkwan ne nokware ne nkwa no; obi ntumi nkɔ Agya no hɔ, gye sɛ ɔfa me so.”
Jesus says to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.
7 Yesu kaa bio se, “Afei a moahu onipa ko a meyɛ yi, saa ara nso na mubehu mʼAgya no, na efi saa bere yi munim no, efisɛ moahu no!”
If you had known me, you should have known my Father also: and from now on you know him, and have seen him.
8 Filipo bisaa no se, “Awurade, kyerɛ yɛn Agya no, efisɛ nea yɛrehwehwɛ ara ne no.”
Philip says to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it suffices us.
9 Yesu buaa no se, “Filipo, enti me ne mo nantewee dedaada yi, wunnim onipa ko a meyɛ? Obiara a onim onipa ko a meyɛ no nim mʼAgya no. Adɛn nti na woka se, ‘Kyerɛ yɛn Agya’ no?
Jesus says to him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father?
10 Filipo wunnye nni sɛ mewɔ Agya no mu na Agya no nso wɔ me mu ana? Yesu san ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, nsɛm a maka akyerɛ mo no mfi mʼankasa. Agya a ɔte me mu no na ɔnam me so yɛ nʼadwuma.
Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak to you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.
11 Munnye me nni sɛ mewɔ Agya no mu na Agya no nso wɔ me mu. Sɛ munnnye nsɛm a maka no nni a, nnwuma a mayɛ no nti, munnye nni.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Mereka nokware akyerɛ mo, obiara a ogye me di no bɛyɛ nnwuma a meyɛ no bi na mpo ɔbɛyɛ nnwuma akɛseakɛse, efisɛ merekɔ mʼAgya no nkyɛn.
Truly, truly, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.
13 Na biribiara a mubebisa wɔ me din mu no, mɛyɛ ama mo, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a Agya no anuonyam nam ne Ba no so bɛda adi.
And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 Biribiara a mode me din bebisa no, mɛyɛ ama mo.”
If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 “Sɛ modɔ me a munni mʼahyɛde so.
If you love me, keep my commandments.
16 Mebisa Agya no na wama mo ɔboafo foforo a ɔne Honhom Kronkron no a ɔda Onyankopɔn nokware nyinaa adi no na ɔne mo atena daa. (aiōn g165)
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (aiōn g165)
17 Wiase rentumi nnye no, efisɛ wonhu no, na wonnim no. Nanso mo de, munim no, efisɛ ɔne mo na ɛte.
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.
18 Merennyaw mo sɛ ayisaa; mɛsan aba mo nkyɛn bio.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Ɛrenkyɛ biara nnipa renhu me bio, nanso mo de, mubehu me; na esiane sɛ mete ase no nti mo nso mobɛtena ase.
Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also.
20 Na da a mɛsɔre afi awufo mu no du a, mubehu sɛ mewɔ mʼAgya no mu na mo nso mowɔ me mu, sɛnea me nso mewɔ mo mu no.
At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
21 Obiara a odi mʼahyɛde so no ne obi a ɔdɔ me. Obiara a ɔdɔ me no mʼAgya bɛdɔ no, na me nso mɛdɔ no na mada me ho adi akyerɛ no.”
He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Yuda a ɛnyɛ Iskariot no, kae se, “Awurade, ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na wobɛda wo ho adi akyerɛ yɛn nko ara na ɛnyɛ nnipa nyinaa?”
Judas says to him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?
23 Yesu buaa no se, “Obiara a ɔdɔ me no bedi me nsɛm so. MʼAgya bɛdɔ no na me ne mʼAgya bɛba ne nkyɛn ne no abɛtena.
Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our stayed with him.
24 Obiara a ɔnnɔ me no renni me nsɛm so. Nsɛm a moate no nyɛ me ara me nsɛm, na mmom efi mʼAgya a ɔsomaa me no nkyɛn.
He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
25 “Mewɔ mo nkyɛn yi na mereka eyinom nyinaa akyerɛ mo.
These things have I spoken to you, being yet present with you.
26 Honhom Kronkron no a ɔne ɔboafo a Agya no bɛsoma no wɔ me din mu no bɛkyerɛkyerɛ mo biribiara, na wakaakae mo biribiara a maka akyerɛ mo no.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you.
27 Asomdwoe na mede regyaw mo; mʼasomdwoe na mede regyaw mo. Ɛnyɛ wiase asomdwoe na mede regyaw mo. Mommma mo koma ntu; na munnsuro nso.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 “Motee sɛ mekae se, ‘Merekɔ nanso mɛsan aba mo nkyɛn bio’ no. Sɛ modɔ me ampa ara a, anka mo ani begye, efisɛ afei de, metumi akɔ Agya a ɔwɔ tumi sen me no nkyɛn.
You have heard how I said to you, I go away, and come again to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go to the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
29 Maka eyinom akyerɛ mo sɛnea ɛba mu a mubegye me adi.
And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, you might believe.
30 Merentumi nkɔ so nkasa pii nkyerɛ mo bio, efisɛ ɔbonsam no reba, nanso onni me so tumi.
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes, and has nothing in me.
31 Na ɛsɛ sɛ nnipa hu sɛ medɔ Agya no, ɛno nti na asɛm biara a ɔbɛka no meyɛ no. “Afei mommra mma yɛnkɔ.”
But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
