< Hiob 8 >
1 Na Suhini Bildad buae se:
Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said:
2 “Wobɛkɔ so aka saa nsɛm yi akosi da bɛn? Wo nsɛm yɛ mframa huhuw.
How long wilt thou speak such things? How long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?
3 Onyankopɔn kyea atɛntrenee ana? Otumfo kyea nea ɛteɛ ana?
Will God pervert judgment? Or will the Almighty pervert justice?
4 Bere a wo mma yɛɛ bɔne tiaa no no, ogyaw wɔn maa wɔn bɔne so akatua.
As thy children sinned against him, He hath given them up to their transgression.
5 Nanso sɛ wode wʼani bɛto Onyankopɔn so na woabɔ Otumfo no mpae,
But if thou wilt seek early to God, And make thy supplication to the Almighty, —
6 sɛ woyɛ kronkron, na woteɛ a, wo nti, ɔbɛma ne ho so mprempren na wama wo asi wo dedaw mu.
If thou wilt be pure and upright, Surely he will yet arise for thee, And prosper thy righteous habitation;
7 Wo mfiase bɛyɛ nkakrankakra na daakye woanya ama abu so.
So that thy beginning shall be small, And thy latter end very great.
8 “Bisa awo ntoatoaso a atwa mu no, na hwehwɛ nea wɔn agyanom hui,
For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, And mark what hath been searched out by their fathers;
9 na wɔwoo yɛn nkyɛe na yennim hwee, yɛn nna wɔ asase yi so te sɛ sunsuma.
(For we are of yesterday and know nothing, Since our days upon the earth are but a shadow; )
10 Wɔrenkyerɛkyerɛ wo na wɔrenka nkyerɛ wo ana? Wɔremfi wɔn ntease mu nka nsɛm bi ana?
Will not they instruct thee, and tell thee, And utter words from their understanding?
11 So paparɔso betumi anyin akɔ soro wɔ baabi a ɛnyɛ ɔwora? Demmire betumi afifi baabi a nsu nni ana?
“Can the paper-reed grow up without mire? Can the bulrush grow without water?
12 Bere a ɛrenyin a wontwae no, ɛhyew ntɛm so sen sare.
While it is yet in its greenness, and is not cut down, It withereth before any other herb.
13 Saa na wɔn a wɔn werɛ fi Onyankopɔn no awiei te; saa ara na wɔn a wonni nyamesu no anidaso nkosi hwee.
Such is the fate of all who forget God; So perisheth the hope of the ungodly.
14 Biribiara a nʼani da so no nni ahoɔden; nea ɔde ne ho to so no yɛ ananse ntontan.
His confidence shall come to nought, And his trust shall prove a spider's web.
15 Otweri ne ntontan, nanso ɛtetew; oso mu dennen, nanso ɛnyɛ yie.
He shall lean upon his house, and it shall not stand; He shall lay fast hold on it, but it shall not endure.
16 Ɔte sɛ afifide a wogugu so nsu yiye a esi owia mu, ɛtrɛtrɛw ne mman mu wɔ turo no so;
He is in full green before the sun, And his branches shoot forth over his garden;
17 Ne ntin nyin fa abotan ho, na ɛhwehwɛ ɔkwan kɔ abo mu.
His roots are entwined about the heap, And he seeth the place of stones;
18 Nanso sɛ wotu fi ne sibea a, saa beae no nnim no bio na ɛka se, ‘Minhuu wo da.’
When he shall be destroyed from his place, It shall deny him, saying, 'I never saw thee.'
19 Ampa ara ne nkwa twa mu, na afifide foforo nyin asase no so.
Lo! such is the joy of his course! And others shall spring up from his place”
20 “Ampa ara Onyankopɔn mpo onipa a ne ho nni asɛm na ɔnhyɛ amumɔyɛfo nsa mu den.
Behold, God will not cast away an upright man; Nor will he help the evil-doers.
21 Ɔbɛma woaserew bio, na wode ahosɛpɛw ateɛteɛ mu.
While he filleth thy mouth with laughter, And thy lips with gladness,
22 Wɔde aniwu befura wɔn a wɔtan wo, na amumɔyɛfo ntamadan bɛsɛe.”
They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame, And the dwelling-place of the wicked shall come to nought.
