< Hiob 26 >

1 Na Hiob kasaa bio se,
Then answered Job, and said,
2 “Woaboa nea onni tumi! Woagye basa a enni ahoɔden!
What assistance hast thou given to the powerless? [how] hast thou helped the arm without strength?
3 Woatu nea onnim nyansa fo! Na woada nhumu pa ara adi!
How hast thou counselled the unwise? and what sound wisdom hast thou made known so plentifully?
4 Hena na ɔboaa wo ma wokaa saa nsɛm yi? Hena honhom na ɛkasa faa wo mu?
To whom hast thou told words? and whose spirit came from thee?
5 “Awufo wɔ ahoyeraw kɛse mu, wɔn a wɔwɔ nsu ase ne nea ɛte mu nyinaa.
The departed are called into being beneath the waters, and their inhabitants.
6 Asaman da adagyaw Onyankopɔn anim; Ɔsɛe nso nni nkataso. (Sheol h7585)
Naked is the nether world before him, and there is no covering for the place of corruption. (Sheol h7585)
7 Ɔtrɛw wim atifi fam kata nea ɛda mpan so; na ɔde asase sensɛn ohunu so.
He stretched out the north over empty space; he suspended the earth on nothing;
8 Ɔbɔ nsu boa hyɛ ne omununkum mu, nanso nsu no mu duru ntumi mpae no.
He bound up the waters in his clouds; and the cloud bursteth not under their weight;
9 Ɔtrɛw ne omununkum mu de kata ɔsram ani.
He closed up the surface of his throne, spreading over it his cloud;
10 Ɔhyɛ agyirae wɔ nsu so de to ɔhye wɔ hann ne sum ntam.
A fixed limit he compassed off over the face of the waters, for the division of the light and darkness.
11 Ɔsoro nnyinaso wosow, na nʼanimka ma wɔn ho dwiriw wɔn.
The pillars of heaven tremble greatly, and are astounded at his rebuke.
12 Ɔde ne tumi wosow po ne nyansa mu, otwitwaa Rahab mu asinasin.
By his power he split in pieces the sea, and by his understanding he crushed [its] pride:
13 Ɔde ne home maa wim tewee; na ne nsa wɔɔ ɔwɔ a ɔrewea.
By his breath the heavens [acquired] beauty; his hand hath created the flying serpent.
14 Eyinom yɛ ne nnwuma kakraa bi; ne tumi kakraa bi kɛkɛ! Na hena na obetumi ate ne tumi mmubomu no ase?”
Lo, these are ends of his ways; for how slight a whisper is heard [by us] of him! but the thunder of his mighty deeds who can understand?
