< Yesaia 63 >

1 Hena ne oyi a ofi Edom reba, nea ofi Bosra a nkekae kɔkɔɔ wɔ nʼatade mu yi? Hena ne oyi a wɔahyehyɛ no kɔsɔɔ yi, a ɔde nʼahoɔden kɛse retutu taataa yi? “Ɛyɛ me a, mekasa wɔ trenee mu, nea otumi gye nkwa no.”
Who [is] this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this [that is] glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
2 Adɛn nti na mo ntade bere kɔɔ, te sɛ obi a ɔretiatia nsakyiamoa so de yi?
Why [art thou] red in thy apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the wine-vat.
3 “Me nko ara atiatia nsakyiamoa so, na amanaman no mu obiara anka me ho. Mitiatia wɔn so wɔ mʼabufuw mu na mimiaa wɔn so wɔ mʼabufuwhyew mu; wɔn mogya bɔ petee me ntade mu, maa nkekae yɛɛ mʼadurade nyinaa mu.
I have trodden the wine-press alone; and of the people [there was] none with me: for I will tread them in my anger, and trample them in my fury, and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
4 Na aweretɔda wɔ me koma mu na me gye afe aba.
For the day of vengeance [is] in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 Mehwɛe, nanso na ɔboafo biara nni hɔ, ɛyɛɛ me ahodwiriw sɛ obiara anso me mu; enti mʼankasa abasa yɛɛ nkwagyedwuma maa me, na mʼabufuw wowaw me.
And I looked, and [there was] none to help; and I wondered that [there was] none to uphold: therefore my own arm brought salvation to me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 Mitiatiaa amanaman no so wɔ mʼabufuw mu; mema wɔbobowee wɔ mʼabufuwhyew mu na mihwiee wɔn mogya guu fam.”
And I will tread down the people in my anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
7 Mɛka Awurade ayamye ho asɛm, ne nneyɛe a enti ɔsɛ ayeyi, wɔ nea Awurade ayɛ ama yɛn nyinaa ho Yiw, wɔ nneɛma pa bebree a wayɛ ama Israelfifo. Wɔ nʼayamhyehye ne ne mmɔborɔhunu a ɛdɔɔso no nti.
I will mention the loving-kindnesses of the LORD, [and] the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness towards the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses.
8 Ɔkae se, “Ampa ara wɔyɛ me nkurɔfo, mmabarima a wɔrenni me huammɔ;” ɛno nti ɔbɛyɛɛ wɔn Agyenkwa.
For he said, Surely they [are] my people, children [that] will not lie: so he was their Savior.
9 Wɔn amanehunu nyinaa mu, ɔno nso huu amane, na ɔbɔfo a ɔka ne ho no nso gyee wɔn. Ne dɔ ne ne mmɔborɔhunu mu, ogyee wɔn; ɔmaa wɔn so na ɔsoaa wɔn mfe a atwa mu no nyinaa mu.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
10 Nanso wɔtew atua de how ne Honhom Kronkron werɛ. Enti ɔbɛyɛɛ wɔn tamfo na ɔno ankasa ko tiaa wɔn.
But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, [and] he fought against them.
11 Afei ne nkurɔfo kae tete nna no, Mose ne ne nkurɔfo nna no. Ɛhe na nea ɔde wɔn faa po mu no wɔ? Ɔne ne nguan no hwɛfo no? Ɛhe na nea ɔmaa ne Honhom Kronkron no tenaa wɔn mu no wɔ,
Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, [and] his people, [saying], Where [is] he that brought them out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where [is] he that put his holy Spirit within him?
12 nea ɔsomaa nʼanuonyam basa a ɛwɔ tumi sɛ ommegyina Mose nsa nifa so no, nea ɔpaee asu no mu wɔ wɔn anim, de gyee din maa ne ho afebɔɔ no,
That led [them] by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
13 nea odii wɔn anim faa bun mu sɛnea ɔpɔnkɔ fa asase tamaa so, wɔanhintiw;
That led them through the deep, as a horse in the wilderness, [that] they should not stumble?
14 te sɛ anantwi a wɔkɔ sare so, Awurade Honhom ma wɔhomee. Sɛnea wokyerɛɛ wo nkurɔfo kwan de gyee anuonyam abodin maa wo ho ni.
As a beast goeth down in the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.
15 Brɛ wʼani ase hwɛ fam fi wʼahengua a ɛkorɔn, ɛyɛ kronkron na ho wɔ nyam no so. Mo mmɔdemmɔ ne mo ahoɔden wɔ he? Wɔayi wʼayamhyehye ne wʼahummɔbɔ afi yɛn so.
Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where [is] thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies towards me? are they restrained?
16 Nanso wo ara wo ne yɛn Agya ɛwɔ mu, Abraham nnim yɛn na Israel nso nnye yɛn nto mu de; nanso wo, Awurade, wo ne yɛn Agya; efi tete, wo din ne; Yɛn Gyefo.
Doubtless thou [art] our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, [art] our father, our Redeemer; thy name [is] from everlasting.
17 Adɛn, Awurade, na woma yɛkwati wʼakwan na wupirim yɛn koma enti ɛmma yenni wo ni? San bra, esiane wʼasomfo, mmusuakuw a wɔyɛ wʼagyapade no nti.
O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, [and] hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thy inheritance.
18 Bere tiaa bi mu wo nkurɔfo faa wo kronkronbea nanso mprempren yɛn atamfo atiatia so.
The people of thy holiness have possessed [it] but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.
19 Enti yɛyɛ wo de fi tete, nanso wɔn de, wunnii wɔn so hene na wɔmmɔɔ wo din mfrɛɛ wɔn da.
We are [thine]: thou never didst bear rule over them; they were not called by thy name.
