Yesaia 62

1 Sion nti, merenyɛ komm, Yerusalem nti, merenyɛ dinn, kosi sɛ ne trenee bɛhyerɛn sɛ adekyee, na ne nkwagye adɛw sɛ ogyatɛn.

For Zions sake I will not holde my tongue, and for Ierusalems sake I wil not rest, vntil the righteousnes thereof breake foorth as the light, and saluation thereof as a burning lampe.

2 Amanaman no behu wo trenee, na ahemfo nyinaa ahu wʼanuonyam; wɔbɛfrɛ wo din foforo a Awurade de bɛto wo no.

And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousnesse, and all Kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

3 Wobɛyɛ anuonyam ahenkyɛw wɔ Awurade nsam, ne adehye anuonyam abotiri wɔ wo Nyankopɔn nsam.

Thou shalt also be a crowne of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royall diademe in the hand of thy God.

4 Wɔremfrɛ wo amamfo bio, anaa wʼasase sɛ amamfo. Na mmom wɔbɛfrɛ wo Hefsiba anaa anisɔ Kuropɔn ne wʼasase sɛ Beula anaa ɔwarefo efisɛ Awurade ani begye wo ho, na ɔbɛware wʼasase.

It shall no more be sayd vnto thee, Forsaken, neither shall it be said any more to thy land, Desolate, but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord deliteth in thee, and thy land shall haue an husband.

5 Sɛnea aberante ware ababaa no, saa ara na wo mmabarima bɛware wo; sɛ ayeforokunu ani gye nʼayeforo ho no, saa ara na wo Nyankopɔn ani begye wo ho.

For as a yong man marieth a virgine, so shall thy sonnes marry thee: and as a bridegrome is glad of the bride, so shall thy God reioyce ouer thee.

6 Mede awɛmfo agyinagyina wʼafasu so, Yerusalem; wɔremmua wɔn ano awia anaa anadwo. Mo a musu frɛ Awurade no, monnhome koraa,

I haue set watchmen vpon thy walles, O Ierusalem, which all the day and all the night continually shall not cease: ye that are mindfull of the Lord, keepe not silence,

7 na mommma onnye nʼahome kosi sɛ, ɔbɛma Yerusalem atim na wayɛ no nea asase nyinaa bɛkamfo.

And giue him no rest, till hee repaire and vntill hee set vp Ierusalem the prayse of the worlde.

8 Awurade de ne basa nifa aka ntam ne basa a ɛyɛ den no se, “Meremfa mo awi mma mo atamfo sɛ wɔn aduan bio, na ananafo rennom nsa foforo a moabrɛ ho no bio;

The Lord hath sworne by his right hand and by his strong arme, Surely I wil no more giue thy corne to be meate for thine enemies, and surely the sonnes of the strangers shall not drinke thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured.

9 wɔn a wotwa no na wobedi na wɔakamfo Awurade, na wɔn a wɔboaboa bobe ano no bɛnom wɔ me kronkronbea adiwo.”

But they that haue gathered it, shall eate it, and prayse the Lord, and the gatherers thereof shall drinke it in the courtes of my Sanctuarie.

10 Momfa mu, momfa kuropɔn apon no mu! Munsiesie ɔkwan no mma nkurɔfo no. Mompae, mompae ɔtempɔn no! Munyiyi so abo no. Munsi frankaa mma amanaman no.

Go through, go through the gates: prepare you the way for the people: cast vp, cast vp the way, and gather out the stones and set vp a standart for the people.

11 Awurade abɔ no dawuru akosi nsase ano se, “Monka nkyerɛ Ɔbabea Sion se, ‘Hwɛ, wo Agyenkwa reba! Hwɛ nʼakatua ka ne ho, na nʼanamuhyɛde nso ka ne ho.’”

Beholde, the Lord hath proclaimed vnto the endes of the world: tell the daughter Zion, Beholde, thy Sauiour commeth: beholde, his wages is with him, and his worke is before him.

12 Wɔbɛfrɛ wɔn Nnipa Kronkron, wɔn a Awurade Agye Wɔn; na wɔbɛfrɛ wo Nea Wɔrehwehwɛ Nʼakyi Kwan, Kuropɔn a Ɛrenyɛ Amamfo Bio.

And they shall call them, The holy people, the redeemed of the Lord, and thou shalt be named, A citie sought out and not forsaken.
