< Yesaia 57 >
1 Atreneefo wu, na obiara nnwen ho wɔ ne koma mu; wɔfa nyamesurofo kɔ, na obiara nte ase sɛ wɔfa atreneefo kɔ sɛnea wobeyi wɔn afi bɔne mu.
The upright perish, and no one lays it to heart. Men of chesed ·loving-kindness· are taken away, and no one considers that the upright is taken away from the evil.
2 Wɔn a wɔnantew tee no wɔhyɛn asomdwoe mu; wonya ahomegye bere a wɔadeda sɛ awufo.
He enters into peace. They rest in their beds, each one who walks in his uprightness.
3 “Nanso mo, mommra ha, mo ɔbayifo mma, mo nguaman ne mmea nguamanfo mma!
“But draw near here, you sons of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes.
4 Hena na moreserew no? Hena na moredi ne ho fɛw na morebɔ no adapaa yi? Monnyɛ atuatewfo fekuw ne atorofo asefo ana?
Whom do you mock? Against whom do you make a wide mouth, and stick out your tongue? Are not you children of a rebellious breach of relationship, and offspring of falsehood,
5 Mode ɔpɛ mmoroso bɔ afɔre wɔ adum mu ne dua biara a adennan ase; mode mo mma bɔ afɔre wɔ aku a mu dɔ mu ne abotan mpaapae ase.
you who inflame yourselves among the oaks, under every green tree; who kill the children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?
6 Anyame a wɔyɛ abo trontrom, a ɛwɔ aku a mu dɔ mu no, wɔyɛ mo kyɛfa. Wɔn na mopɛ. Yiw, moahwie nsa afɔrebɔde agu wɔn so na mode aduan afɔrebɔde ama wɔn. Eyinom nyinaa akyi, mingow me nsam ana?
Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion; they, they are your lot. You have even poured a drink offering to them. You have offered an offering. Shall I be appeased for these things?
7 Moasiesie mo nnabea wɔ koko a ɛkorɔn so; ɛhɔ na mokɔ kɔbɔ afɔre.
On a high and lofty mountain you have set your bed. You also went up there to offer sacrifice.
8 Mo apon ne apongua akyi na mo de mo abosonsom nsɛsode asisi. Mufii mʼakyi koyii mo mpa so ntama, mokɔdaa so na motrɛw mu; mo ne wɔn a modɔ wɔn mpa yɛɛ apam, na mohwɛɛ wɔn adagyaw mu.
You have set up your memorial behind the doors and the posts; for you have exposed yourself to someone besides me, and have gone up; you have enlarged your bed, and made you a covenant with them. You 'ahav ·affectionately loved· what you saw on their bed.
9 Mode ngo kɔɔ Molek nkyɛn na momaa mo nnuhuam dɔɔso. Mosomaa mo ananmusifo kɔɔ akyirikyiri; mosian kɔɔ ɔda mu ankasa! (Sheol )
You went to the king with oil, and increased your perfumes, and sent your ambassadors far off, and degraded yourself even to Sheol ·Place of the dead·. (Sheol )
10 Mo nneyɛe maa mo ɔbrɛ, nanso moanka da se, ‘Yenni anidaso.’ Mopɛɛ ahoɔden foforo enti moantɔ piti.
You were wearied with the length of your ways; yet you didn’t say, ‘It is in vain.’ You found a reviving of your strength; therefore you were not faint.
11 “Hena na wama mo koma atu na wabɔ mo hu sɛɛ a enti moanni me nokware, na moankae me anaa moannwene eyi ho wɔ mo koma mu yi? So ɛnyɛ komm a mayɛ akyɛ no nti na munsuro me no ana?
“Whom have you dreaded and feared, so that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven’t I held my peace for a long time, and you don’t fear me?
12 Mɛda mo trenee ne mo nnwuma adi, na so remma mo mfaso.
I will declare your righteousness; and as for your works, they will not benefit you.
13 Sɛ moteɛ mu pɛ mmoa a, momma mo ahoni a moaboa ano no nnye mo! Mframa bɛbɔ wɔn nyinaa akɔ, home kɛkɛ bɛfa wɔn. Nanso onipa a ɔde me yɛ ne guankɔbea no bedi asase no so na wafa me bepɔw kronkron no.”
When you cry, let those whom you have gathered deliver you; but the wind will take them. A breath will carry them all away: but he who takes refuge in me will possess the land, and will inherit my holy mountain.”
14 Na wɔbɛka se: “Monyɛ, monyɛ, munsiesie ɔkwan no! Munyiyi akwanside mfi me nkurɔfo akwan mu.”
He will say, “Build up, build up, prepare the way! Remove the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.”
15 Na oyi ne nea ɔkorɔn no, nea ɔte ase daa a ne din yɛ kronkron no se: “Mete beae a ɛkorɔn na ɛyɛ kronkron, mene nea ɔwɔ ahonu na ɔyɛ honhom mu hiani nso te, sɛ mɛkanyan honhom mu hiani no honhom, na makanyan ne koma a abubu no.
For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
16 Meremmɔ sobo afebɔɔ, na me bo remfuw daa, sɛ anyɛ saa a onipa honhom bɛtɔ beraw wɔ mʼanim, onipa ahome a me na mabɔ no.
For I will not contend forever, neither will I be always angry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls whom I have made.
17 Ne nnebɔne adifudepɛ maa me bo fuwii; metwee nʼaso, na mede abufuw yii mʼani, nso ɔkɔɔ so yɛɛ nea ne koma pɛ.
I was angry because of the depravity (moral evil) of his covetousness, and struck him; I hid myself and was angry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.
18 Mahu ne nneyɛe, nanso mɛsa no yare. Mɛkyerɛ no kwan na makyekye ne werɛ,
I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.
19 na mama ayeyi aba wɔn a wɔredi awerɛhow wɔ Israel no ano. Asomdwoe, asomdwoe mmra wɔn a wɔwɔ akyirikyiri ne wɔn a wɔbɛn so,” sɛɛ na Awurade se. “Na mɛsa wɔn yare.”
I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says Adonai; “and I will heal them.”
20 Na amumɔyɛfo te sɛ po a ɛrehuru, entumi nyɛ komm, nʼasorɔkye yiyi dontori ne fi.
But the wicked are like the troubled divorced sea; for it can’t rest, and its waters dirge up mire and mud.
21 “Amumɔyɛfo nni asomdwoe.” Sɛɛ na me Nyankopɔn se.
“There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
