< Yesaia 56 >
1 Sɛɛ na Awurade se: “Monkɔ so mmu atɛntrenee na monyɛ nea eye, efisɛ me nkwagye abɛn na ɛrenkyɛ me trenee bɛda adi.
Adonai says, “Maintain mishpat ·justice·, and do what is right; for my yishu'ah ·salvation· is near, and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
2 Nhyira nka onipa a ɔyɛ eyi, onipa a okura mu dennen, nea ɔkae Homeda na ɔyɛ no kronkron, na ɔkame ne ho fi bɔneyɛ ho.”
Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast; who keeps the Sabbath ·To cease· without profaning it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
3 Mma ɔnanani a ɔde ne ho ama Awurade nka se, “Ampa ara Awurade renkan me mfra ne nkurɔfo mu.” Na piamni biara nso nwiinwii sɛ, “Meyɛ duwui.”
Let no foreigner, who has joined himself to Adonai, speak, saying, “Adonai will surely separate me from his people.” Do not let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
4 Sɛɛ na Awurade se, “Piamfo a wɔkae me homenna, wɔn a wɔyɛ nea ɛsɔ mʼani na wokura mʼapam mu dennen,
For Adonai says, “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast to my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·:
5 mɛma wɔn, wɔ mʼasɔredan ne ho afasu no nkae ade ne din a, ɛkyɛn mmabarima ne mmabea; mɛma wɔn din a ɛbɛtena hɔ afebɔɔ din a ɛrentwa mu.
I will give them in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name, that will not be cut off.
6 Na ananafo a wɔde wɔn ho bata Awurade ho sɛ wɔbɛsom no, sɛ wɔbɛdɔ Awurade din, na wɔasɔre no, wɔn a wɔkae Homeda na wɔyɛ no kronkron nyinaa na wokura mʼapam mu dennen,
Also the foreigners who join themselves to Adonai, to serve him, and to 'ahav ·affectionately love· Adonai’s name, to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath ·To cease· from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·;
7 eyinom na mede wɔn bɛba me bepɔw kronkron no so na mama wɔn anigye wɔ me mpaebɔfi. Wɔn ɔhyew afɔrebɔde ne afɔrebɔ ahorow no megye wɔ mʼafɔremuka so; na wɔbɛfrɛ me fi aman nyinaa mpaebɔfi.”
I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
8 Otumfo Awurade, nea ɔboaboa Israelfo a wɔatwa wɔn asu ano no ka se: “Mɛkɔ so aboaboa afoforo ano aka wɔn ho aka wɔn a maboa wɔn ano dedaw no ho.”
The Lord Adonai, who gathers the outcasts of Israel [God prevails], says, “I will yet gather others to him, besides his own who are gathered.”
9 Mommra, mo wuram mmoadoma nyinaa, mummedidi, mo kwae mu mmoa nyinaa!
All you animals of the field, come to devour, all you animals in the forest.
10 Israel awɛmfo yɛ anifuraefo, wɔn mu biara nni nimdeɛ; wɔn nyinaa yɛ akraman mum, wontumi mmobɔ mu; wɔdeda hɔ na wɔsoso dae, nna yɛ wɔn dɛ.
His watchmen are blind. They are all without knowledge. They are all mute dogs. They can’t bark; dreaming, lying down, 'ahav ·affectionately loving· slumber.
11 Wɔyɛ akraman a wɔpɛ aduan yiye; wonnidi mmee da. Wɔyɛ nguanhwɛfo a wonni ntease; wɔn nyinaa fa wɔn kwan, obiara pɛ nʼankasa mfaso.
Yes, the dogs are greedy. They can never have enough. They are shepherds who can’t understand. They have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.
12 “Mommra,” obiara teɛ mu se, “momma me nsa! Momma yɛnnom bobesa mmow! Na ɔkyena bɛyɛ sɛ nnɛ, ebia ɛbɛsen nnɛ koraa.”
“Come,” say they, “I will get wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow will be as today, great beyond measure.”
