< Yesaia 52 >

1 Nyan, nyan, Sion, hyɛ ahoɔden adurade no. Hyɛ wo ntade fɛɛfɛ no Yerusalem kuropɔn kronkron no. Momonotofo ne wɔn a wɔn ho agu fi renwura wʼapon mu bio.
Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, thou holy city; for no more shall enter into thee henceforth the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2 Poroporow wo ho mfutuma. Sɔre, tena ahengua so, Yerusalem. Yiyi nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn no fi wo kɔn mu, Ɔbabea Sion a wɔafa wo nnommum.
Shake thyself free from the dust, arise, sit down, O Jerusalem: loosen thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive, daughter of Zion.
3 Na sɛɛ na Awurade se: “Wɔantɔn wo annye hwee, na ɛnyɛ sika na wɔde begye wo.”
For thus hath said the Lord, For naught were you sold, and without silver shall ye be redeemed.
4 Na sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se: “Bere bi me nkurɔfo kɔɔ Misraim kɔtenaa hɔ; akyiri no Asiria bɛhyɛɛ wɔn so.
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Into Egypt went my people down aforetimes, to sojourn there, and Asshur hath oppressed it without cause.
5 “Na mprempren dɛn na mewɔ wɔ ha?” Sɛɛ na Awurade se. “Wɔafa me nkurɔfo kɔ kwa, na wɔn sodifo di fɛw,” Awurade na ose. “Da mu no nyinaa wɔkɔ so gu me din ho fi.
And now what have I here, saith the Lord, since my people hath been taken away for naught? its rulers vaunt aloud, saith the Lord, and continually, all the day, is my name blasphemed.
6 Enti me nkurɔfo behu me din; enti da no wobehu sɛ ɛyɛ me na mehyɛɛ ho nkɔm. Yiw, ɛyɛ me.”
Therefore shall my people know my name, therefore on that day, that I am he that speaketh it: here am I.
7 Hwɛ sɛnea wɔn a wɔde asɛmpa no reba anammɔn si yɛ fɛ wɔ mmepɔw no so, wɔn a wɔpae mu ka asomdwoesɛm, wɔn a wɔbɔ amanneɛdɛ, wɔn a wɔpae mu ka nkwagye ho asɛm na wɔka kyerɛ Sion se, “Mo Nyankopɔn di hene.”
How beautiful are upon the mountains the feet of the messenger of good tidings, that publisheth peace, that announceth tidings of happiness, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth.
8 Muntie! Mo awɛmfo ma wɔn nne so; wɔbɔ mu de anigye teɛ mu. Sɛ Awurade san ba Sion a, wɔde wɔn ani behu.
The voice of thy watchmen, —they raise their voice, together shall they shout; for eye to eye shall they see, when the Lord returneth unto Zion.
9 Mommɔ mu ntue anigye nnwonto, mo Yerusalem nnwiriwii, efisɛ, Awurade akyekye ne nkurɔfo werɛ wagye Yerusalem.
Break forth [in song], shout together, ye ruins of Jerusalem; the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 Awurade beyi ne basa kronkron no ho wɔ amanaman nyinaa anim na asase ano nyinaa behu yɛn Nyankopɔn nkwagye.
The Lord hath made bare his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
11 Monkɔ. Mumfi hɔ nkɔ! Mommfa mo ho nnka biribiara a ho ntew. Mumfi ho na mo ho ntew, mo a mukurakura Awurade nkuruwa.
Depart ye, depart ye, go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go ye out from the midst of it; cleanse yourselves, ye bearers of the vessels of the Lord.
12 Morentutu mmirika mfi ha anaa morenguan; efisɛ Awurade bedi mo anim, Israel Nyankopɔn bɛbɔ mo kyidɔm.
Not in haste shall ye go out, and not in flight shall ye go; for before you goeth the Lord, and your rereward is the God of Israel.
13 Hwɛ, me somfo bedi yiye wɔbɛma no so ayɛ no ɔkɛse.
Behold, my servant shall be prosperous, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be placed very high.
14 Nea ɛmaa dodow a wohuu no ho dwiriw wɔn no, wɔsɛee nʼanim a ansɛ onipa biara de na nʼabɔsu sɛe a ɛnsɛ ɔdesani de,
Just as many were astonished at thee, so greatly was his countenance marred more than any [other] man's, and his form more than [that of] the sons of men, —
15 saa ara na ɔbɛma aman bebree ho adwiriw wɔn na ahemfo bemuamua wɔn ano, ne nti. Wɔn a wɔnkaa ne ho asɛm nkyerɛɛ wɔn no behu, na wɔn a wɔntee no nso bɛte ase.
Thus will he cause many nations to jump up in [astonishment]; at him will kings shut their mouth; for what had not been told unto them shall they see, and what they had never heard shall they understand.
