< Yesaia 39 >

1 Saa bere no Merodak-Baladan a ɔyɛ Babiloniahene Baladan babarima soma ma wɔde krataa ne akyɛde kɔmaa Hesekia, efisɛ na wate sɛ wayare ama ne ho atɔ no.
At that time sent Merodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, the king of Babylon, letters and a present to Hezekiah; for he had heard that he had been sick, and was become strong again.
2 Hesekia gyee asomafo no fɛw so, na afei ɔde nea ɔwɔ wɔ ne adekoradan mu kyerɛɛ wɔn; dwetɛ, sikakɔkɔɔ, nnuhuam, ngohuam, nʼakode akorae ne biribiara a ɛka nʼademude ho. Biribiara nni nʼahemfi ne nʼahenni mu a Hesekia amfa ankyerɛ wɔn.
And Hezekiah was rejoiced on their account, and showed them his treasure-house, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and the whole of his armor-house, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing that Hezekiah showed them not, in his house, and in all his dominion.
3 Afei Odiyifo Yesaia kɔɔ ɔhene Hesekia nkyɛn, kobisaa no se, “Asɛm bɛn na saa mmarima no kae na he na wofi bae?” Hesekia buae se, “Wofi akyirikyiri asase bi so. Wofi Babilonia, na wɔbaa me nkyɛn.”
Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What did these men say? and whence did they come unto thee? And Hezekiah said, From a far-off country are they come unto me, from Babylon.
4 Odiyifo no bisae se, “Dɛn na wohuu wɔ wʼahemfi hɔ?” Hesekia buae se, “Wohuu biribiara a ɛwɔ mʼahemfi ha. Biribiara nni mʼademude mu a mamfa ankyerɛ wɔn.”
And he said, What did they see in thy house? And Hezekiah said, all that is in my house have they seen; there is nothing that I did not show them in my treasures.
5 Afei Yesaia ka kyerɛɛ Hesekia se, “Tie asɛm a efi Asafo Awurade nkyɛn:
And Isaiah said to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord of hosts,
6 Nokware, bere bi bɛba a, wɔbɛsoa biribiara a ɛwɔ wʼahemfi ne agyapade a wʼagyanom akora de abedu nnɛ no akɔ Babilonia. Biribiara renka, sɛɛ na Awurade se.
Behold, days are coming when all that is in thy house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord.
7 Wʼankasa wʼasefo bi mpo, wɔbɛfa wɔn nnommum. Wɔbɛyɛ piamfo a wɔbɛsom wɔ Babiloniahene ahemfi.”
And of thy sons that will issue from thee, whom thou wilt beget, shall they take; and they shall be court-servants in the palace of the king of Babylon.
8 Na Hesekia ka kyerɛɛ Yesaia se, “Saa asɛm yi a efi Awurade nkyɛn a woaka akyerɛ me yi yɛ asɛm papa.” Nanso na ɔhene no redwene sɛ, ne bere so de, obenya asomdwoe ne bammɔ.
Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and stability in my days.
