Yesaia 15
1 Adehu a ɛfa Moab ho: Wɔasɛe Ar a ɛwɔ Moab Da koro anadwo bi, wɔasɛe Kir a ɛwɔ Moab da koro anadwo bi!
The oracle on Moab: Because, in a night, was laid waste Ar of Moab—destroyed! Because, in a night, was laid waste Kir of Moab—destroyed,
2 Dibon foro kɔ nʼasɔredan mu, ɔkɔ ne sorɔnsorɔmmea kosu; Moab twa adwo wɔ Nebo ne Medeba ho. Wɔayi eti biara so nwi na abogyesɛ biara nso wɔatwitwa.
He hath gone up to Bayith and Dibon, to the high places, to weep, —On Nebo and on Medeba, Moab is howling, On all their heads, a baldness, Every beard, clipped.
3 Wofurafura atweaatam wɔ mmɔnten so; wɔ adan atifi ne ɔman ahyiae wɔn nyinaa retwa adwo, wɔdeda fam na wosu.
In their streets, have they girded them with sackcloth, —On their housetops, and in their broadways, every one is howling—melting in tears;
4 Hesbon ne Eleale teɛ mu su, wɔte wɔn nne kodu Yahas nohɔ. Enti Moab mmarima akofo teɛ mu su, na wɔbotobotow.
And Heshbon, hath made outcry, and Elealeh, Unto Jahaz, hath been heard their voice, —For this cause, do the armed men of Moab roar, Every man’s soul, quivereth to him.
5 Midi Moab ho awerɛhow wɔ me koma mu; nʼaguanfo guan kodu Soar, ne Eglat Selisiya. Wɔforo kɔ Luhit, wɔrekɔ nyinaa na wɔresu; Horonaim kwan so nso wodi wɔn sɛe ho awerɛhow.
Mine own heart, for Moab continueth to make outcry, Her fugitive, as far as Zoar, is like a heifer of three years; For the accent of Luhith, with weeping, they ascend, For by the way of Horonaim—an outcry of destruction, they excite;
6 Nimrim nsuwansuwa ayoyow na sare no ahyew afifide nyinaa ayera na ɛnkaa wura biara a ɛyɛ amono.
For, the waters of Nimrim, shall become desolation, —For grass, hath dried up, Herbage hath failed, Green thing, hath not sprung up!
7 Enti ahonyade a wɔapɛ agu hɔ no wɔsoa de kotwa mpampuro bon.
For this cause, the savings they had made and that which they had stored, Over the torrent-bed of the willows, shall they bear them.
8 Wɔn nkekawmu gyigye wɔ Moab ahye so; wɔn agyaadwotwa kodu Eglaim na wɔn abubuwbɔ kodu Beer Elim.
For the outcry hath gone round the boundary of Moab, —As far as Eglaim, the howling thereof, And to Beer-elim, the howling thereof.
9 Dimon nsu ayɛ mogya nko ara nanso mɛkɔ so ne no adi gyata bɛba Moab aguanfo so ne wɔn a wɔbɛka asase no so no so.
For the waters of Dimon, are full of blood, For I will lay upon Dimon new troubles, —To the escaped of Moab, the lions, Even to the survivors on the soil.
