Here is a list of the descendants of Adam. When God created humans, he caused them to be like him in many ways.
2 Ɔbɔɔ ɔbea ne ɔbarima, na ohyiraa wɔn. Ɔbɔɔ wɔn wiee no, ɔtoo wɔn din onipa.
He created one man and one woman. He blessed them, and on the day that he created them, he called them ‘human beings’.

When Adam was 130 years old, he became the father of a son who [grew up to] be just like him. That was the son he named Seth.
4 Ɔwoo Set no, Adam tenaa ase mfe ahanwɔtwe a ɔwowoo mmabarima ne mmabea kaa ho.
After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 more years, and during those years he became the father of other sons and daughters.
5 Sɛ wɔka Adam mfe nyinaa bɔ mu a, odii mfe ahankron aduasa, ansa na ɔrewu.
Adam lived 930 years altogether, and then he died.
6 Set dii mfe ɔha ne anum no, ɔwoo Enos.
When Seth was 105 years old, he became the father of Enosh.
7 Set woo Enos akyi no, ɔtenaa ase, dii mfe ahanwɔtwe ne ason, wowoo mmabarima ne mmabea kaa ho.
After Enosh was born, Seth lived 807 more years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
8 Sɛ wɔka Set mfe dodow bɔ mu a, odii mfe ahankron ne dumien, ansa na ɔrewu.
Seth lived 912 years altogether, and then he died.
9 Enos dii mfe aduɔkron no, ɔwoo Kenan.
When Enosh was 90 years old, he became the father of Kenan.
10 Enos woo Kenan akyi no, ɔtenaa ase mfe ahanwɔtwe ne dunum, wowoo mmabarima ne mmabea kaa ho.
After Kenan was born, Enosh lived 815 more years and became the father of other sons and daughters.
11 Sɛ wɔka Enos mfe dodow bɔ mu a, odii mfe ahankron ne anum, ansa na ɔrewu.
Enosh lived 905 years altogether, and then he died.
12 Kenan dii mfe aduɔson no, ɔwoo Mahalalel.
When Kenan was 70 years old, he became the father of Mahalalel.
13 Kenan woo Mahalalel akyi no, ɔtenaa ase mfe ahanwɔtwe aduanan, wowoo mmabarima ne mmabea kaa ho.
After Mahalalel was born, Kenan lived 840 more years and became the father of other sons and daughters.
14 Sɛ wɔka Kenan mfe dodow bɔ mu a, odii mfe ahankron ne du, ansa na ɔrewu.
Kenan lived 910 years altogether, and then he died.
15 Mahalalel dii mfe aduosia anum no, ɔwoo Yared.
When Mahalalel was 65 years old, he became the father of Jared.
16 Mahalalel woo Yared akyi no, ɔtenaa ase, dii mfe ahanwɔtwe aduasa, wowoo mmabarima ne mmabea kaa ho.
After Jared was born, Mahalalel lived 830 more years and became the father of other sons and daughters.
17 Sɛ wɔka Mahalalel mfe dodow bɔ mu a, odii mfe ahanwɔtwe aduɔkron anum, ansa na ɔrewu.
Mahalalel lived 895 years altogether, and then he died.
18 Yared dii mfe ɔha aduosia abien no, ɔwoo Henok.
When Jared was 162 years old, he became the father of Enoch.
19 Yared woo Henok akyi no, ɔtenaa ase mfe ahanwɔtwe, wowoo mmabarima ne mmabea kaa ho.
Jared lived 800 years after Enoch was born, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.
20 Sɛ wɔka Yared mfe dodow bɔ mu a, odii mfe ahankron aduosia abien, ansa na ɔrewu.
Jared lived 962 years altogether, and then he died.
21 Henok dii mfe aduosia anum no, ɔwoo Metusela.
When Enoch was 65 years old, he became the father of Methuselah.
22 Henok woo Metusela akyi no, Henok de ne ho bataa Awurade ho mfe ahaasa, na ɔwowoo mmabarima ne mmabea kaa ho.
Enoch lived in close fellowship with God for 300 years after Methuselah was born, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.

Enoch lived 365 years altogether in close fellowship with God.

Then one day he disappeared, because God took him away [to be with him in heaven].

When Methuselah was 187 years old, he became the father of Lamech.
26 Metusela woo Lamek akyi no, ɔtenaa ase mfe ahanson aduɔwɔtwe abien, wowoo mmabarima ne mmabea kaa ho.
Methuselah lived 782 years after Lamech was born, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
27 Sɛ wɔka Metusela mfe dodow bɔ mu a, odii mfe ahankron aduosia akron, ansa na ɔrewu.
Methuselah lived 969 years altogether, and then he died.
28 Lamek dii mfe ɔha ne aduɔwɔtwe abien no, ɔwoo ɔbabarima.
When Lamech was 182 years old, he became the father of a son,
29 Ɔtoo no din Noa, na ɔkae se, “Ɔno na ɔbɛma yɛanya ahomegye afi kuayɛ mu adwumaden wɔ asase a Awurade adome no so.”
whom he named Noah, [which sounds like the Hebrew word that means ‘relief’], because he said, “He will bring us relief from all the hard work we have been doing to produce food from the ground that Yahweh cursed.”
30 Lamek woo Noa akyi no, ɔtenaa ase mfe ahannum aduɔkron anum, wowoo mmabarima ne mmabea kaa ho.
Lamech lived 595 years after Noah was born and became the father of other sons and daughters.
31 Sɛ wɔka Lamek mfe dodow bɔ mu a, odii mfe ahanson aduɔson ason, ansa na ɔrewu.
Lamech lived 777 years altogether, and then he died.
32 Noa dii mfe ahannum no, ɔwoo mmabarima baasa a wɔfrɛ wɔn Sem, Ham ne Yafet.
When Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of a son whom he named Shem. Later he became the father of another son whom he named Ham, and later he became the father of another son whom he named Japheth.
