1 Eyinom ne Noa mmabarima: Wɔne Sem, Ham ne Yafet asefo. Wɔwowoo mmabarima nsuyiri no akyi.
And these [are] the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and sons are born to them after the flood.
2 Yafet asefo ni: Gomer, Magog, Media, Yawan, Tubal, Mesek ne Tiras.
Sons of Japheth [are] Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 Gomer asefo ni: Askenas, Rifat ne Togarma.
And sons of Gomer [are] Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 Yawan asefo ni: Elisa, Tarsis, Kitim ne Rodanim.
And sons of Javan [are] Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 Na wɔn asefo bɛyɛɛ po so adwumayɛfo wɔ nsase ahorow so a na abusuakuw biara ka ne kasa nko.
By these the islands of the nations have been parted in their lands, each by his tongue, by their families, in their nations.
6 Ham asefo ni: Kus, Misraim, Put ne Kanaan.
And sons of Ham [are] Cush, and Mitzraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7 Kus asefo ni: Seba, Hawila, Sabta, Raama ne Sabteka. Na Raama asefo nso ne: Saba ne Dedan.
And sons of Cush [are] Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah; and sons of Raamah [are] Sheba and Dedan.
8 Kus woo Nimrod. Na Nimrod bɛyɛɛ ɔkofo kɛse wɔ asase so.
And Cush has begotten Nimrod;
9 Na ɔyɛ ɔbɔmmɔfo kɛse a Awurade ahyira no, na wɔbɔ ne din ka asɛm. Na obiara a ɔyɛ akokodurusɛm no, wɔde no toto Nimrod a na ɔyɛ ɔbɔmmɔfo kɛse a Awurade ahyira no no ho.
he has begun to be a hero in the land; he has been a hero in hunting before YHWH; therefore it is said, “As Nimrod the hero [in] hunting before YHWH.”
10 Nʼahenni fii ase wɔ Babilonia, Erek, Akad ne Kalne a ne nyinaa wɔ Sinear asase so.
And the first part of his kingdom is Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar;
11 Ofii saa asase no so trɛw nʼahenni mu kɔɔ Asiria, kɔkyekyeree Ninewe. Rehobot-Ir, Kala ne
from that land he has gone out to Asshur, and builds Nineveh, even the broad places of the city, and Calah,
12 Resen a ɛda Ninewe ne Kala ntam; ɛno na ɛyɛ kurow kɛse wɔ saa ahemman no mu.
and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah; it [is] the great city.
13 Na Misraim woo Ludfo, Anamfo, Lehabfo, Naftuhfo,
And Mitzraim has begotten the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
14 Patrusfo, Kasluhfo ne Kaftorfo a wɔn ase na Filistifo fi.
and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim (from where have come out Philistim), and the Caphtorim.
15 Na Kanaan woo nʼabakan Sidon ne Het.
And Canaan has begotten Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
16 Yebusifo, Amorifo, Girgasifo,
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
17 Hewifo, Arkifo, Sinifo,
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18 Arwadfo, Semarifo ne Hematifo. Akyiri no, Kanaanfo mmusua no petee.
and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterward the families of the Canaanite have been scattered.
19 Kanaan nsase ahye trɛw fii Sidon koduu Gerar de kosii Gasa koduu Sodom ne Gomora, Adma, Seboim de kosi Lasa.
And the border of the Canaanite is from Sidon, [in] your coming toward Gerar, to Gaza; [in] your coming toward Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, to Lasha.
20 Eyinom ne Ham asefo a wɔn mmusuakuw, wɔn kasa, wɔn nsase ne wɔn aman da wɔn adi.
These [are] sons of Ham, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
21 Sem a na ne nua panyin ne Yafet no nso woo mmabarima. Sem nananom ne Eber mma.
As for Shem, father of all sons of Eber, the older brother of Japheth, he has also begotten.
22 Sem asefo ni: Elam, Asur, Arfaksad, Lud ne Aram.
Sons of Shem [are] Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23 Aram asefo ni: Us, Hul, Geter ne Mas.
And sons of Aram [are] Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24 Na Arfaksad woo Sela, na Sela woo Eber.
And Arphaxad has begotten Salah, and Salah has begotten Eber.
25 Eber woo mmabarima baanu. Wɔtoo ɔbaako din Peleg a ase kyerɛ Nkyekyɛmu, efisɛ nʼawobere mu na kasa ahorow nti, nnipa a wɔwɔ asase so mu kyekyɛe ma wɔhwetee. Na wɔtoo ne nua a ɔka ne ho no din Yoktan.
And two sons have been born to Eber; the name of the first [is] Peleg (for in his days the earth has been divided), and his brother’s name [is] Joktan.
26 Yoktan woo Almodada, Selef, Hasarmawet, Yera,
And Joktan has begotten Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29 Ofir, Hawila ne Yobab.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan;
30 Asase a wɔte so no trɛw fi Mesa kosi Sefar, ɔmantam a ɛda bepɔw so wɔ apuei fam no.
and their dwelling is from Mesha, [in] your coming toward Sephar, a mountain of the east.
31 Eyinom ne Sem mmabarima, sɛnea wɔn mmusua ne wɔn kasa, wɔn nsase ne wɔn amanaman te no.
These [are] sons of Shem, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, by their nations.
32 Eyinom ne Noa mmabarima mmusua, sɛnea wɔn awo ntoatoaso te wɔ wɔn amanaman mu. Na efi eyinom mu na nsuyiri no akyi no amanaman petee asase so.
These [are] families of the sons of Noah, by their generations, in their nations, and by these the nations have been parted in the earth after the flood.
