< Galatifo 1 >
1 Paulo, ɔsomafo a ɛnyɛ nnipa anaa onipa bi na ɔpaw me sɛ ɔsomafo, na mmom ɛyɛ Yesu Kristo ne Agya Nyankopɔn a onyan no fii awufo mu no,
Paul, an apostle—not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—
2 ne anuanom a wɔne me wɔ ha nyinaa, De krataa yi kɔma Galati asafo ahorow no nyinaa:
and all the brothers who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:
3 Adom ne asomdwoe a efi yɛn Agya Nyankopɔn ne Awurade Yesu Kristo nka mo.
Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 Yɛn bɔne nti, Kristo yɛɛ osetie maa yɛn Agya Nyankopɔn. Ɔnam so de ne ho bɔɔ afɔre gyee yɛn fii bɔne a yɛwɔ mu nnɛ yi mu. (aiōn )
who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age (aiōn ), according to the will of our God and Father—
5 Anuonyam nka Onyankopɔn daa nyinaa. Amen. (aiōn )
to whom be the glory for the ages (aiōn ) of the ages (aiōn ). Amen.
6 Mo ho yɛ me nwonwa sɛ mopɛ ntɛm po nea ɔfrɛɛ mo se montena Kristo adom mu no, kodi asɛmpa foforo
I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”,
7 a ɛnyɛ nokware asɛmpa koraa bi no akyi. Ɛda adi sɛ nnipa bi wɔ hɔ a wɔredan mo adwene pɛ sɛ wosiw Kristo Asɛmpa no ho kwan.
but there is not another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.
8 Na sɛ yɛn, anaa ɔbɔfo fi ɔsoro bɛka asɛmpa a nsonoe da ɛno ne yɛn Asɛmpa no ntam a, onii no bɛkɔ afɔbu a enni awiei mu.
But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.
9 Yɛaka dedaw na mereti mu sɛ: Obiara a ɔbɛka asɛmpa a ɛne Asɛmpa a moagye ato mu no bɔ abira no bɛkɔ afɔbu a enni awiei mu.
As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.
10 Nea nnipa pene so na mereyɛ yi ana? Dabi! Mepɛ nea Onyankopɔn pene so! Anaa mereyɛ nea ɛsɔ nnipa ani? Sɛ migu so yɛ saa de a, na menyɛ Kristo somfo.
For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
11 Anuanom, mepɛ sɛ mote ase sɛ Asɛmpa a meka kyerɛ mo no mfi onipa hɔ.
But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.
12 Me nsa anka amfi onipa nkyɛn. Saa ara nso na ɛnyɛ onipa na ɔkyerɛɛ me. Ɛyɛ Kristo no ankasa na ɔdaa no adi kyerɛɛ me.
For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.
13 Moate sɛ na mesɛe mʼadagyew nyinaa wɔ Yudasom ho. Afei moate nso sɛ na mede atirimɔden taa Onyankopɔn akyidifo, na mefaa ɔkwan biara a metumi so pɛɛ sɛ metɔre wɔn ase.
For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God and ravaged it.
14 Me mfɛfo Yudafo no de, na mʼadwene mu abue wɔ Yudasom ho sen wɔn nyinaa. Na mikura yɛn nananom amanne nso mu denneennen.
I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
15 Nanso Onyankopɔn nam nʼadom so frɛɛ me ansa na wɔrewo me sɛ memmɛsom no. Na bere no soo
But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through his grace,
16 sɛ ɔbɛda ne Ba no adi akyerɛ me, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a mɛka Asɛmpa a ɛfa ne ho akyerɛ amanamanmufo no, mankɔ obiara nkyɛn amma wantu me fo;
to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,
17 saa ara nso na mankɔ Yerusalem ankohu asomafo a na wodi mʼanim kan no. Mmom, mekɔɔ Arabia prɛko pɛ na mesan baa Damasko.
nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.
18 Mfe abiɛsa akyi na mekɔɔ Petro nkyɛn wɔ Yerusalem ne no kodii nkɔmmɔ. Midii ne nkyɛn nna dunum.
Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.
19 Manhu ɔsomafo biara wɔ hɔ ka Awurade nua Yakobo ho.
But of the other apostles I saw no one except James, the Lord’s brother.
20 Meka kyerɛ mo wɔ Onyankopɔn anim se nea merekyerɛw yi yɛ nokware turodoo.
Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I am not lying.
21 Ɛno akyi no, mebaa Siria ne Kilikia.
Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
22 Saa bere no na Kristo asafo ahorow a wɔwɔ Yudea no mu nnipa nnim me.
I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,
23 Nsɛm a na wɔaka afa me ho sɛ, “Afei de, ɔbarima no a na ɔtaa yɛn no ka gyidi a na ɔpɛ sɛ ɔsɛe no no ho asɛm.”
but they only heard, “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”
24 Na me nti, wɔhyɛɛ Onyankopɔn anuonyam.
So they glorified God in me.
