< Hesekiel 40 >

1 Yɛn nnommumfa afe a ɛto so aduonu anum, afe no mfiase, ɔsram da a ɛto so du a ɛyɛ kuropɔn no asehwe afe a ɛto so dunan no, saa da no ara no Awurade nsa baa me so, na ɔde me kɔɔ hɔ.
In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity at the beginning of the year on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was captured—on that same day, the hand of Yahweh was upon me and he took me there.
2 Onyankopɔn anisoadehu mu no, ɔde me kɔɔ Israel asase so, na ɔde me kogyinaa bepɔw tenten bi so; nʼanafo fam no na adan bi wɔ hɔ a ɛsɛ kuropɔn bi.
In visions from God he brought me to the land of Israel. He brought me to rest on a very high mountain; to the south were what appeared to be buildings of a city.
3 Ɔde me kɔɔ hɔ na mihuu ɔbarima bi a ne tebea te sɛ kɔbere mfrafrae; na ogyina ɔpon no ano, kura sirikyi hama ne susudua wɔ ne nsam.
Then he brought me there. Behold, a man! His appearance was like the appearance of bronze. A linen cord and a measuring stick were in his hand, and he stood in the city gate.
4 Ɔbarima yi ka kyerɛɛ me se, “Onipa ba, fa wʼani hwɛ na fa wʼaso tie na biribiara a mɛkyerɛ wo no, fa wʼadwene di akyi, efisɛ ɛno nti na wɔde wo aba ha. Ka biribiara a wubehu no kyerɛ Israelfi.”
The man said to me, “Son of man, look with your eyes and listen with your ears, and fix your mind on all that I am revealing to you, for you were brought here so I could reveal them to you. Report everything that you will see to the house of Israel.”
5 Mihuu ɔfasu a atwa asɔredan no afefare mu nyinaa ho ahyia. Susudua a ɛhyɛ ɔbarima no nsam no tenten yɛ anammɔn du ne fa. Osusuw ɔfasu no huu sɛ mu piw yɛ anammɔn du ne fa, na ne sorokɔ nso saa ara.
There was a wall surrounding the temple area. The length of the measuring stick in the man's hand was six long cubits. Each long cubit was a cubit and a handbreadth in length. So he measured the wall, and it was one measuring stick thick and one rod high.
6 Afei ɔkɔɔ abɔntenpon a ɛkyerɛ apuei fam no ano. Ɔforoo nʼatrapoe no na osusuw abobow ano no, na ne trɛw yɛ susudua no baako.
Then he went to the temple gate that faced east. He went up its steps and measured the threshold of the gate—one stick in depth.
7 Awɛmfo adan no mu biara tenten mu yɛ susudua baako na ne trɛw mu nso saa ara, afasu ntiantia a etwitwa awɛmfo adan no ntam mu piw yɛ anammɔn ason ne fa. Ntwironoo a anim kyerɛ asɔredan no abobow ano pon no trɛw yɛ susudua baako.
The guard chambers were each one stick in length and one stick in width; there were five cubits between any two of the chambers, and the threshold of the temple gate by the temple portico was one stick deep.
8 Afei osusuw ɔpon no ntwironoo;
He measured the portico of the gate; it was one stick in length.
9 na ne tenten mu yɛ anammɔn dumien, na nʼadum mu biara nso piw yɛ anammɔn abiɛsa. Ɔpon no ntwironoo anim hwɛ asɔredan no.
He measured the portico of the gate. It was one stick deep. The doorposts were two cubits in width. This was the portico of the gate facing the temple.
10 Na awɛmfo adan abiɛsa wɔ apuei pon no benkum so ne nifa so; na ne nyinaa kɛse yɛ pɛ na afasu ntiantia a etwitwa ntam no nso mu piw yɛ pɛ.
There were three guard chambers on either side of the east gate, and each of them had the same measurement, and the walls that separated them had the same measurement.
11 Afei osusuw abɔntenpon no ano kwan, na ne trɛw yɛ anammɔn dunum na ne tenten mu nso yɛ anammɔn dunkron ne fa.
Then the man measured the width of the gateway entrance—ten cubits; and he measured the length of the gateway entrance—thirteen cubits.
12 Awɛmfo adan no mu biara anim wɔ ɔfasu tiaa a ne sorokɔ yɛ ɔnammɔn ne fa, na awɛmfo adan no mu biara yɛ ahinanan a ɔfa biara susuw anammɔn du ne fa.
He measured the wall that was bordering the front of the chambers—one cubit high. The chambers measured six cubits on each side.
13 Afei osusuw ɔpon no fi awɛmfo adan no mu baako fasu a ɛwɔ akyi no atifi kosii ɔdan a ɛne no di nhwɛanim no akyi fasu no atifi; na ɔkwan a ɛda ntam yɛ anammɔn aduasa ason ne fa.
Then he measured the gateway from the roof of one chamber to that of the next chamber—twenty-five cubits, from the entrance of the first chamber to that of the second.
14 Osusuw faa afasu ntiantia a etwitwa awɛmfo adan no ntam no nyinaa anim wɔ ɔpon kwan no mu, na ɛyɛɛ anammɔn aduɔkron. Nteɛmu no kosii ntwironoo a anim hwɛ adiwo hɔ no.
Then he measured the wall that went between the guard chambers—sixty cubits in length; he measured as far as the gate's portico.
15 Ɔkwan a efi abɔntenpon abobow ano kosi ntwironoo no ti yɛ anammɔn aduɔson anum.
The entrance from the front of the gate to the other end of the gate's portico was fifty cubits.
16 Awɛmfo adan ne afasu ntiantia a etwitwa wɔn ntam wɔ abɔntenpon kwan no mu no, na bammɔ mfɛnsere nketenkete atwa ho ahyia, na saa ara na ntwironoo no mu te, na ne nyinaa buebue kɔ mu. Afasu ntiatia a etwitwa awɛmfo adan no ntam no, wɔaduadua mmɛ wɔ anim fɛfɛɛfɛ.
There were closed windows toward the chambers and toward their pillars within the gates all around; and likewise for the porches. The were windows all around the inside, and each jamb was decorated with palm trees.
17 Afei ɔde me baa adiwo a ɛda akyi hɔ no. Ɛhɔ na mihuu adan bi ne nsɛwee bi a ɛwɔ adiwo no fasu ase nyinaa; na adan no yɛ aduasa wɔ nsɛwee no ho.
Then the man brought me to the outer courtyard of the temple. Behold, there were rooms, and there was pavement in the courtyard, with thirty rooms next to the pavement.
18 Na nsɛwee no pem apon no nkyɛn mu, na na ɛtrɛw sɛnea apon no tenten te; eyi ne ase nsɛwee no.
The pavement went up to the side of the gates, and its width was the same as the gates' length. This was the lower pavement.
19 Afei osusuw ɔkwan a efi ɔpon a ɛwɔ ase no anim kosii mfimfini adiwo no akyi; na ɛyɛ anammɔn ɔha ne aduonum wɔ apuei ne atifi fam.
Then the man measured the distance from the front of the lower gate to the front of the inner gate; it was one hundred cubits on the east side, and the same on the north side.
20 Afei osusuw ɔpon a ani hwɛ atifi fam na epue mfikyiri adiwo no tenten ne ne trɛw.
Then he measured the length and width of the gate that was at the north of the outer court.
21 Na awɛmfo adan a abiɛsa wɔ afaafa, afasu ntiaa a etwitwa wɔn ntam ne ntwironoo no afefare mu te sɛ ɔpon a edi kan no de. Ne tenten yɛ anammɔn aduɔson anum na ne trɛw yɛ anammɔn aduasa ason ne fa.
There were three chambers on either side of that gate, and the gate and its portico measured the same as the main gate—fifty cubits in total length and twenty-five cubits in width.
22 Na ne mfɛnsere nketenkete ne ntwironoo ne mmedua a ɔde asiesie hɔ no no nsusuwii nyinaa te sɛ ɔpon a ani hwɛ apuei fam de no. Atrapoe na wɔforo de kɔ mu, atrapoe no ne ntwironoo no di nhwɛanim.
Its windows, portico, chambers, and its palm trees corresponded to the gate that faced east. Seven steps went up to it and to its portico.
23 Na ɔpon bi wɔ hɔ a ɛkɔ mfimfini adiwo a ɛne atifi fam pon no di nhwɛanim, sɛnea na ɛte wɔ apuei fam no. Osusuw fii ɔpon baako ano kosii nea ɛne no di nhwɛanim no ano; na ɛyɛ anammɔn ɔha ne aduonum.
There was a gate to the inner courtyard in front of the gate facing north, just as also there was a gate to the east; the man measured from one gate to the other gate—one hundred cubits in distance.
24 Afei odii mʼanim de me kɔɔ anafo fam, na mihuu ɔpon a ani hwɛ anafo fam no. Osusuw nʼadum ne ntwironoo na na nʼatenten te sɛ nkae no.

There were closed windows in the gateway and its portico just as at that gate. The south gate and its portico measured fifty cubits in length and twenty-five cubits in width.
26 Na atrapoe nnidiso ason na wɔforo kɔ ɔpon no ano, na ntwironoo no ne no di nhwɛanim; na mmedua mfoni wɔ afasu ntiantia a etwitwa awɛmfo no adan no ntam no anim wɔ nʼafanu.
There were seven steps up to the gate and its portico, and there were carvings of palm trees on the walls on either side.

Its chambers, walls, and porticos measured the same as the other gates; there were windows all around in the portico. The inner gate and its portico measured fifty cubits in length and twenty-five cubits in width.
30 (Apon ntwironoo a atwa mfimfini adiwo no ho ahyia no mu biara tenten yɛ anammɔn aduasa ason ne fa na ne trɛw nso yɛ anammɔn ason ne fa.)
There were also porticos all around the inner wall; these were twenty-five cubits in length and five cubits in width.

32 Afei, ɔde me baa mfimfini adiwo hɔ wɔ apuei fam na osusuw ɔpon no; na ne tenten ne nea aka no yɛ pɛ.
Then the man brought me to the inner courtyard by the eastern way and measured the gate, which had the same measurements as the other gates.
