< Hesekiel 32 >

1 Mfe dumien mu, ɔsram a ɛto so dumien no da a edi kan no, Awurade asɛm baa me nkyɛn se:
Then it happened in the twelfth month of the twelfth year, on the first of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2 “Onipa ba, to kwadwom fa Misraimhene Farao ho na ka kyerɛ no se: “‘Wote sɛ gyata wɔ aman no mu: wote sɛ po mu aboa a ne ho yɛ hu wububu dikyi wɔ wo nsuten mu, wode wo nan boro nsuten no de fono nsu no.
“Son of man, lift up a lament concerning Pharaoh the king of Egypt; say to him, 'You are like a young lion among the nations, but you are like a monster in the seas; you churn up the water, you stir up the waters with your feet and muddy their waters.
3 “‘Sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se: “‘Mede dɔm bɛba abɛtow mʼasau agu wo so, na wɔbɛtwe wo afi mʼasau mu.
The Lord Yahweh says this: So I will spread my net over you in the assembly of many peoples, and they will lift you up in my net.
4 Mɛtow wo akyene asase no so na mahiri wo ato sare so. Mɛma wim nnomaa nyinaa abesisi wo so na asase so mmoa nyinaa adi wo nam afrɛ so.
I will abandon you in the land. I will throw you into a field and cause all the birds of the heavens to settle on you; the hunger of all living animals on earth will be satisfied by you.
5 Mɛhata wo nam wɔ mmepɔw no so na mede wo funu ahyɛ aku ma.
For I will put your flesh on the mountains, and I will fill the valleys with your worm-filled corpse.
6 Mede wo mogya a ɛresen no afɔw asase no de akɔka mmepɔw no na wo nam bɛhyɛ abon nketewa no ma.
Then I will pour your blood over the mountains, and the stream beds will be filled with your blood.
7 Sɛ mitwa wo fi hɔ a, mɛkata ɔsoro ani na madunnum wɔn nsoromma; mede omununkum bɛkata owia ani, na ɔsram renhyerɛn.
Then when I extinguish you, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with clouds, and the moon will not shine its light.
8 Ɔsoro akanea a ɛhyerɛn nyinaa mɛma aduru sum wɔ wo so; mɛma sum aduru wʼasase, Otumfo Awurade asɛm ni.
All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you, and I will put darkness over your land—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.
9 Mɛma nnipa bebree koma atutu bere a mede wo sɛe aba aman no mu, nsase a wunnya nhuu mu.
So I will terrify the heart of many peoples in lands that you do not know, when I bring about your collapse among the nations, among lands that you have not known.
10 Mɛma nnipa bebree ho adwiriw wɔn wɔ wo ho, wo nti, hu bɛma wɔn ahene ho apopo bere a merehim mʼafoa wɔ wɔn anim no. Da a wobɛhwe ase no wɔn mu biara ho bɛwosow bere nyinaa mu wɔ wɔn nkwa nti.
I will shock many peoples concerning you; their kings will shudder in horror concerning you when I swing my sword before them. Every moment each one will tremble because of you, on the day of your downfall.
11 “‘Na sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se: “‘Babiloniahene afoa bɛsɔre wɔ wo so.
For the Lord Yahweh says this: The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you.
12 Mɛma wo dɔm no atotɔ wɔ dɔmmarima afoa ano, wɔ aman a wɔyɛ anuɔdenfo mu. Wɔbɛsɛe Misraim ahomaso pasaa na ne dɔm no nyinaa bedi nkogu.
I will cause your multitudes to fall by warriors' swords—each warrior a terror of nations. These warriors will devastate the pride of Egypt and destroy all of its multitudes.
13 Mekunkum nʼanantwi nyinaa afi nsu bebree no ho na onipa nan rentiatia mu bio na anantwi tɔte nso remfono no.
For I will destroy all the livestock from beside the plentiful waters; the foot of man will no longer stir the waters up, neither will the hooves of cattle stir them.
14 Afei mɛma ne nsu ani atew na mama ne nsuten ateɛ sɛ ngo,
Then I will calm their waters and make their rivers run like oil— this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.
15 Sɛ mema Misraim da mpan na miyi biribiara fi asase no so, sɛ mikum wɔn a wɔte so nyinaa a, afei na wobehu sɛ mene Awurade no.’
When I make the land of Egypt an abandoned place, when the land is made bare of all its fullness, when I attack all the inhabitants in her, they will know that I am Yahweh.
16 “Eyi ne kwadwom a wɔbɛto ama no. Amanaman no mmabea bɛto ama Misraim ne ne dɔm nyinaa, Otumfo Awurade asɛm ni.”
There will be a lament; the daughters of the nations will lament over her; they will lament over Egypt, over all her multitudes they will lament—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.'”
17 Afe a ɛto so dumien no ne sram da a ɛto so dunum no, Awurade asɛm baa me nkyɛn se:
Then it happened in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
18 “Onipa ba, twa adwo ma Misraim dɔm na ma ɔne amanaman akɛse no mmabea nsian nkɔ asase ase nkɔka wɔn a wɔasian kɔ amoa mu no ho.
“Son of man, weep for the multitudes of Egypt and bring them down— her and the daughters of majestic nations—to the lowest earth with those who have gone down to the pit.
19 Ka kyerɛ wɔn se, ‘Wadom mo dodo sen wɔn a aka no ana? Munsian nkɔ na mo ne momonotofo no nkɔda.’
'Are you really more beautiful than anyone else? Go down and lie down with the uncircumcised.'
20 Wɔbɛka wɔn a wowuwuu wɔ afoa ano no ho. Wɔatwe afoa no, ma wɔntwe ne nnipadɔm no ase nkɔ.
They will fall among those who were killed by the sword. The sword has been drawn! She has been given to the sword; they will seize her and her multitudes.
21 Akannifo akɛse a wɔwɔ ɔda mu bɛka afa Misraim ne ne dɔm ho se, ‘Wɔasian aba na wɔdeda momonotofo mu, wɔn a wowuwuu wɔ afoa ano no.’ (Sheol h7585)
The strongest of the warriors in Sheol will declare about Egypt and her allies, 'They have come down here! They will lie with the uncircumcised, with those who were killed by the sword.' (Sheol h7585)
22 “Asiria ne nʼasraafo nyinaa wɔ hɔ, wɔn a wɔakunkum wɔn no nna atwa ne ho ahyia, wɔn a wɔatotɔ wɔ afoa ano no.
Assyria is there with all her assembly. Her graves surround her; all of them were killed by the sword.
23 Wɔn nna no wɔ amoa no ase tɔnn na nʼasraafo deda ne nna ho nyinaa. Wɔn a na wohunahuna afoforo wɔ ateasefo asase so no nyinaa awuwu, wɔatotɔ wɔ afoa ano.
Those whose graves are set in the recesses of the pit are there, with all her assembly. Her graves surround all of those who were killed, who fell by the sword, those who brought terror on the land of the living.
24 “Elam wɔ hɔ, ne nnipadɔm nyinaa atwa ne da ho ahyia. Wɔn nyinaa awuwu, wɔatotɔ wɔ afoa ano. Wɔn a na wohunahuna afoforo wɔ ateasefo asase so nyinaa sian kɔɔ asase ase sɛ momonotofo. Wɔde wɔn animguase kɔka wɔn a wosian kɔ amoa mu no ho.
Elam is there with all her multitudes. Her graves surround her; all of them were killed. Those who fell by the sword, who have gone down uncircumcised to the lowest parts of the earth, who brought their terrors on the land of the living and who carry their own shame, together with the ones going down to the pit.
25 Wɔato mpa ama no wɔ atɔfo no mu, na ne dɔm atwa ne da ho ahyia. Wɔn nyinaa yɛ momonotofo a wɔatotɔ wɔ afoa ano. Esiane sɛ wɔn ahunahuna trɛw wɔ ateasefo asase so no nti, wɔne wɔn a wosian kɔ amoa mu no nyinaa anim agu ase. Wɔadeda wɔn wɔ atɔfo no mu.
They set a bedroll for Elam and all her multitudes in the midst of the slain; her graves surround her. All of them are uncircumcised, pierced by the sword, because they had brought their terrors on the land of the living. So they carry their own shame, together with the ones going down to the pit among all those who have been killed, those who are going down to the pit. Elam is among all those who were killed.
26 “Mesek ne Tubal wɔ hɔ a wɔn dɔm atwa wɔn nna ho ahyia. Wɔn nyinaa yɛ momonotofo a wɔatotɔ wɔ afoa ano efisɛ wɔtrɛtrɛw wɔn ahunahuna mu wɔ ateasefo asase so.
Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitudes are there! Their graves surround them. All of them are uncircumcised, killed by the sword, because they had brought their terrors on the land of the living.
27 Ɛnyɛ wɔn ne akofo momonotofo foforo a wɔatotɔ na wɔdeda hɔ no ana? Wɔn a wɔne wɔn akode sian kɔɔ nna mu na wɔn ti deda wɔn afoa so no. Wɔn amumɔyɛ so asotwe daa wɔn nnompe so, mmom saa akofo yi ahunahuna atrɛtrɛw wɔ ateasefo asase so. (Sheol h7585)
They do not lie with the fallen warriors of the uncircumcised who have gone down to Sheol with all their weapons of war, and with their swords placed under their heads and their iniquities over their bones. For they were the terror of warriors in the land of the living. (Sheol h7585)
28 “Farao, wo nso wobebubu wo mu na woakɔda momonotofo mu, wo ne wɔn a wɔtotɔɔ wɔ afoa ano no.
So you, Egypt, will be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised! You will lie alongside those who were pierced by the sword.
29 “Edom wɔ hɔ, nʼahemfo ne ne mmapɔmma nyinaa deda wɔn a wɔatotɔ wɔ afoa ano no mu, wɔn tumi nyinaa akyi. Wɔdeda momonotofo mu, wɔne wɔn a wosian kɔ amoa mu no.
Edom is there with her kings and all her leaders. They have been placed in their strength with those killed by the sword. With the uncircumcised they lie, with those who have gone down to the pit.
30 “Mmapɔmma a wofi atifi fam nyinaa ne Sidonfo nyinaa wɔ hɔ, wɔne atɔfo kɔɔ wɔ animguase mu, wɔn tumi a wɔde hunahuna no nyinaa akyi. Wɔdeda hɔ sɛ momonotofo, wɔne wɔn a wokum wɔn wɔ afoa ano, na wɔne wɔn a wosian kɔ amoa mu no asoa wɔn animguase.
The princes of the north are there—all of them and all the Sidonians who went down with the ones who had been pierced. They were powerful and made others to be afraid, but now they are there in shame, uncircumcised with those who were pierced by the sword. They carry their own shame, together with the ones going down to the pit.
31 “Farao, ɔne nʼasraafo nyinaa behu wɔn na ne werɛ bɛkyekye wɔ ne dɔm a wokunkum wɔn wɔ afoa ano no ho, Otumfo Awurade asɛm ni.
Pharaoh will look and be comforted about all his multitudes who were pierced by the sword—Pharaoh and all his army—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.
32 Mmom me na memaa Farao ne ne nnipadɔm de ahunahuna trɛtrɛw wɔ ateasefo asase so de, nanso wɔbɛdeda momonotofo mu, wɔn a wɔde afoa kunkum wɔn, Otumfo Awurade asɛm ni.”
I put him as my terrifying one in the land of the living, but he will be laid down in the midst of the uncircumcised, among those pierced by the sword, Pharaoh and all his multitudes—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.”
