< Hesekiel 11 >

1 Afei honhom no maa me so de me baa Awurade fi pon a ani kyerɛ apuei fam no ano. Na mmarima aduonu anum wɔ hɔ, na mihuu Asur babarima Yaasania ne Benaia babarima Pelatia a wɔyɛ nnipa no ntuanofo.
Moreover the Spirit took me up, and brought me to the front gate of the house of the Lord, that looks eastward: and behold at the entrance of the gate were about five and twenty men; and I saw in the midst of them Jechonias the son of Ezer, and Phaltias the son of Banaeas, the leaders of the people.
2 Awurade ka kyerɛɛ me se, “Onipa ba, eyinom ne mmarima a wɔbɔ pɔw bɔne na wotu fo bɔne wɔ kuropɔn yi mu.
And the Lord said to me, Son of man, these are the men that devise vanities, and take evil counsel in this city:
3 Wɔkae se, ‘Bere a wɔde sisi afi no nnuu so ana? Kuropɔn yɛ dadesɛn, na yɛyɛ nam.’
who say, Have not the houses been newly built? This is the cauldron, and we are the flesh.
4 Ɛno nti hyɛ nkɔm tia wɔn, hyɛ nkɔm, onipa ba.”
Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, son of man.
5 Afei, Awurade Honhom baa me so na ɔka kyerɛɛ me se menka se, “Sɛɛ na Awurade se: Saa na moreka, mo Israel akannifo, nanso minim nsusuwii a ɛwɔ mo adwene mu.
And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said to me, say; Thus says the Lord; Thus have you said, O house of Israel: and I know the devices of your spirit.
6 Moakunkum nnipa bebree wɔ kuropɔn yi mu, na mode afunu ahyehyɛ ne mmɔnten so amaama.
You have multiplied your dead in this city, and you have filled your ways with slain men.
7 “Ɛno nti, sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se: Afunu a moatotow apete hɔ no yɛ nam na kuropɔn yi ne dadesɛn no, nanso mɛpam mo afi mu.
Therefore thus says the Lord; Your dead whom you have struck in the midst of it, these are the flesh, and this[city] is the cauldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
8 Musuro afoa, na ɛno ara na mede bɛba mo so, sɛɛ na Awurade se.
You fear the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, says the Lord.
9 Mɛpam mo afi kuropɔn no mu na mede mo ahyɛ ananafo nsa, na matwe mo aso.
And I will bring you forth out of the midst of it, and will deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgements amongst you.
10 Mobɛtotɔ wɔ afoa ano, na mebu mu atɛn wɔ Israel asase so. Afei mubehu sɛ mene Awurade no.
You shall fall by the sword; I will judge you on the mountains of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord.
11 Saa kuropɔn yi remmɔ mo ho ban sɛnea dadesɛn bɔ nam a ɛwɔ mu no ho ban no; Mebu mo atɛn wɔ Israel asase so.
And it came to pass, while I was prophesying, that Phaltias the son of Banaeas died. And I fell upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Alas, alas, O Lord! will you utterly destroy the remnant of Israel?
12 Na mubehu sɛ mene Awurade no, efisɛ moanni mʼahyɛde so, moapo me mmara na nea aman a atwa mo ho ahyia no yɛ no na mo nso moyɛ.”
13 Afei bere a migu so rehyɛ nkɔm no, Benaia babarima Pelatia wui. Na mede mʼanim butuw fam suu dennen se, “Aa, Otumfo Awurade, wobɛtɔre Israel nkae yi ase koraa ana?”
14 Awurade asɛm baa me nkyɛn sɛ,
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
15 “Onipa ba, wo nuabarimanom, wɔn a wo ne wɔn yɛ mogya baako ne Israelfi nyinaa, nnipa a wɔwɔ Yerusalem kasa fa wɔn ho se, ‘Wɔne Awurade ntam kwan ware, na wɔde saa asase yi maa yɛn sɛ yɛn agyapade.’”
Son of man, your brethren, and the men of your captivity, and all the house of Israel are come to the full, to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem said, Keep you far away from the Lord: the land is given to us for an inheritance.
16 “Ɛno nti ka se, ‘Sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se: Ɛwɔ mu sɛ mede wɔn kɔɔ akyirikyiri wɔ amanaman mu, hwetee wɔn guu nsase so de, nanso bere tiaa bi mu no meyɛɛ wɔn kronkronbea wɔ nsase a na wɔwɔ so no so.’
Therefore say you, Thus says the Lord; I will cast them off amongst the nations, and will disperse them into every land, yet will I be to them for a little sanctuary in the countries which they shall enter.
17 “Enti ka se, ‘Sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se: Mɛboaboa mo ano afi amanaman no ne nsase a mehwetee mo guu so no asan aba, na mede Israel asase bɛsan ama mo.’
Therefore say you, Thus says the Lord; I will also take them from the heathen, and gather them out of the lands wherein I have scattered them, and will give them the land of Israel.
18 “Wɔbɛsan aba so na wɔayiyi nsɛsode atantan ne ahoni a ɛyɛ akyiwade no nyinaa.
And they shall enter in there, and shall remove all the abominations of it, and all its iniquities from it.
19 Mɛma wɔn koma koro na mede honhom foforo ahyɛ wɔn mu; meyi wɔn komaden no na mama wɔn koma a ɛyɛ mmerɛw.
And I will give them another heart, and will put a new spirit within them; and will extract the heart of stone from their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh:
20 Afei wobedi mʼahyɛde so na wɔahwɛ akora me mmara yiye. Wɔbɛyɛ me nkurɔfo na mayɛ wɔn Nyankopɔn.
that they may walk in my commandments, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be to me a people, and I will be to them a God.
21 Nanso wɔn a wɔde wɔn koma ama nsɛsode atantan ne ahoni a ɛyɛ akyiwade no de, mɛma nea wɔayɛ no abɔ wɔn ti so, sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se.”
And as for the heart [set upon] their abominations and their iniquities, as their heart went [after them], I have recompensed their ways on their heads, says the Lord.
22 Afei kerubim no ne wɔn nkyimii trɛtrɛw wɔn ntaban mu, na Israel Nyankopɔn anuonyam konkɔn wɔn so.
Then the cherubs lifted up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
23 Awurade anuonyam maa ne ho so fii kuropɔn no mu kogyinaa bepɔw a ɛwɔ apuei fam no atifi.
And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood on the mountain which was in front of the city.
24 Honhom no maa me so de me baa nnommum a wɔwɔ Babilonia no nkyɛn wɔ anisoadehu a Onyankopɔn Honhom maa me no mu. Afei anisoade a mihuu no fii me so kɔɔ ɔsoro.
And the Spirit took me up, and brought me to the land of the Chaldeans, to the captivity, in a vision by the Spirit of God: and I went up after the vision which I saw.
25 Na mekaa biribiara a Awurade yi kyerɛɛ me no kyerɛɛ nnommum no.
And I spoke to the captivity all the words of the Lord which he had showed me.
