1 Afei, Mose frɛɛ Israelmma nyinaa ne wɔn yɛɛ nhyiamu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Eyi ne Awurade mmara a ɛsɛ sɛ mudi so.
Moses/I gathered all the Israeli people together and said to them, “This is what Yahweh has commanded you to do:
2 Monyɛ adwuma nnansia. Na da a ɛto so ason no de, momfa nhome; ɛyɛ da kronkron a ɛsɛ sɛ mode som Awurade. Obiara a ɔbɛyɛ adwuma biara saa da no, ɛsɛ sɛ wokum no.
[Each week] you may work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. It is a sacred day, dedicated to Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on the seventh day must be executed.
3 Da no, ogya mpo, monnsɔ bi ano wɔ mo afi mu.”
Do not [even] light a fire in your homes on days of rest.”
4 Mose ka kyerɛɛ nnipa no nyinaa se, “Nsɛm a Awurade ahyɛ sɛ monyɛ ni:
Moses/I also said to all the Israeli people, “This is [also] what Yahweh has commanded:
5 Obiara a ɔpɛ no mfa saa afɔrebɔde yi mu biara mmrɛ Awurade: “Sikakɔkɔɔ, dwetɛ, kɔbere mfrafrae;
Make offerings to Yahweh. Everyone who wants to should bring to Yahweh an offering. [These are the things that they may offer]: Gold, silver, bronze,
6 ntama a wɔde asaawa tuntum, bibiri ne koogyan ayɛ ne abirekyi nwi,
fine white linen, blue or purple or red cloth, [cloth made from] goats’ hair,
7 odwennini nwoma a wɔahyɛ no aduru kɔkɔɔ ne abirekyi nwoma a wɔahyɛ, ɔkanto dua;
rams’ skins that are (tanned/dyed red), fine leather made from goatskins, wood from acacia [trees],
8 ngo a wɔde begu akanea no mu, ɔhyew nnuhuam a wɔde bɛyɛ ɔsrango ne; ɔhyew aduhuam;
oil for the lamps, spices to put in the olive oil for anointing and in the sweet-smelling incense,
9 abo a ɛte sɛ apopobibiri ne abo a wɔde bɛhyehyɛ asɔfotade no ne nʼadɛbo no mu.
[valuable] onyx stones or [other] valuable stones to fasten onto the [priest’s] sacred apron and put on his sacred chest pouch.
10 “Mo a mowɔ nimdeɛ wɔ biribiyɛ ho no, mo nyinaa mommra na monyɛ nea Awurade aka no nyinaa te sɛ:
“All the skilled workers among you should come and make all the things that Yahweh has commanded:
11 “Ahyiae Ntamadan no so ntama ne ne nkataso, nkɔtɔkoro, mpuran nnua a esisi mu, adum ne nnyinaso;
The Sacred Tent and its covering, its fasteners and its frames, its crossbars, its posts, its bases,
12 Apam Adaka no ne nnua a esisi ho; Mpata agua ntwamtam a ɛkata kronkronbea hɔ,
the sacred chest with its poles and its lid, the curtain that will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place,
13 ɔpon ne nnua a wɔde soa ne ɛho nneɛma nyinaa, Ɔkyerɛ Brodo;
the table with the poles [for carrying it] and all the things that will be used with the table, the sacred bread that will be offered to God,
14 akanea nnua ne nʼakanea ne ngo;
the lampstand for the lamps with all the things that will be used to take care of them, the oil for the lamps,
15 aduhuam afɔremuka ne nnua a wɔde bɛsoa; ɔsrango ne aduhuam a eyi hua pa, nsɛnanim a wɔde bɛsɛn Ahyiae Ntamadan no pon ano;
the altar for [burning] incense, and the poles [for carrying that altar], the oil for anointing and the sweet-smelling incense, the curtain for the entrance of the Sacred Tent,
16 kɔbere Afɔremuka a wɔde bɛbɔ ɔhyew afɔre, kɔbere ntwitae ne nnua a wɔde bɛsoa ho nneɛma, ne nea wɔhoro mu nneɛma ne ne ntaamu,
the altar for offering [sacrifices that will be completely] burned and its bronze grating, the poles [for carrying] that altar and all the things that will be used with it, the washbasin and its base,
17 adiwo hɔ no ntwamtam, adum ne ne nnyinaso, ntama a wɔde bɛkata adiwo hɔ kwan ano,
the curtains [to surround] the courtyard and the posts and bases [for the posts from which to hang the curtains], the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard,
18 Ahyiae Ntamadan no adiwo hɔ nnua ne ne ntampehama,
the pegs and ropes for the Sacred Tent and for the courtyard,
19 asɔfotade a ɛyɛ fɛ a ɔsɔfo no bɛhyɛ asɔre wɔ kronkronbea hɔ ne Aaron ntade kronkron a sɛ ne mmabarima no yɛ asɔfodwuma a, wɔbɛhyɛ bi.”
and the beautiful clothes that Aaron and his sons are to wear when they do their work in the Holy Place.”
20 Na Israelmma nyinaa fii Mose anim,
Then all the Israeli people returned [to their tents].
21 na wɔn a Onyankopɔn honhom kaa wɔn koma no de wɔn akyɛde a wɔde besi Ahyiae Ntamadan no ne ɛho nneɛma ne nea wɔde bɛpam atade kronkron no bae.
Everyone who wanted to brought an offering to Yahweh. They brought some of the things that would be used to make the Sacred Tent and all the other items that would be used in the rituals, and the materials to make the sacred clothes [for the priests].
22 Mmea ne mmarima a asɛm no kaa wɔn koma no nyinaa bae. Wɔde sikakɔkɔɔ, agude, nsonkaa, nkaa, kɔnmuade ne sika adwinne bebree brɛɛ Awurade.
All the men and women who wanted to brought gold ornaments, earrings, rings, necklaces, and many other kinds of things made of gold, and they dedicated them to Yahweh.
23 Wɔn a wɔwɔ ntama pa, kuntu a ɛyɛ tuntum, bibiri, abirekyi nwoma a wɔahyɛ, odwennini nwoma a wɔahyɛ no kɔkɔɔ anaa aboa nwoma a ɛyɛ fɛ nso de bae.
And many [HYP] people who had blue, purple, or red cloth or fine white linen or cloth made from goats’ hair or rams’ skins that were (tanned/dyed red) or leather made from goatskins brought some of these things.
24 Afoforo nso de dwetɛ ne kɔbere brɛɛ Awurade sɛ wɔn akyɛde. Ebinom de ɔkanto nnua nso bae.
All those who had silver or bronze brought them as offerings to Yahweh. All those who had some acacia wood that could be used for any of the work brought it.
25 Mmea no bi a wonim adepam yiye no too asaawa tuntum, bibiri ne koogyan de yɛɛ ntama a ɛyɛ fɛ de brɛɛ Awurade.
All the women who were skilled to make cloth brought fine linen thread and blue, purple, or red yarn/thread that they had made/spun.
26 Afoforo nso de anigye nam wɔn dom akyɛde so de abirekyi nwi yɛɛ ntama.
And all the women who wanted to made/spun thread from goats’ hair.
27 Mpanyimfo a wodi wɔn anim no de abo a ɛte sɛ apopobibiri bae sɛ wɔmfa nyɛ asɔfotade no ne nʼadɛbo.
All the leaders brought valuable onyx stones and other valuable stones to be fastened to Aaron’s sacred apron and his sacred chest pouch.
28 Wɔde nnuhuam ne ngo a wɔde begu akanea mu ne nea wɔde bɛfra ɔsrango no ne nnuhuam no ama adi mu no nso bae.
They also brought spices [to put in the sweet-smelling incense], and they brought olive oil for the lamps and for the oil for anointing and for putting in the sweet-smelling incense.
29 Eyi di ho adanse sɛ Israel mmarima ne mmea a na wɔpɛ sɛ wɔboa dwumadi a Awurade nam Mose so de hyɛɛ wɔn nsa no fi wɔn pɛ mu de wɔn akyɛde brɛɛ no.
All the Israeli men and women who wanted to brought these things to offer them to Yahweh, for doing the work that he had commanded Moses/me to do.
30 Mose ka kyerɛɛ Israelfo no se, “Awurade ayi Besaleel, Uri ba a ɔyɛ Hur a ofi Yuda abusua mu nena
Moses/I said to the Israeli people, “Listen carefully. Yahweh has chosen Bezalel, the son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
31 no sɛ ɔno Onyankopɔn Honhom ahyɛ no ma. Wama no nyansa, tumi ne adwene a ɔde besi Ahyiae Ntamadan no ayɛ biribiara a ɛwɔ mu.
Yahweh has enabled his Spirit to completely control Bezalel and has given him ability and enabled him to know how to do very skilled work.
32 Obetumi adi adwinni afi sikakɔkɔɔ, dwetɛ, ne kɔbere mu.
He can engrave skillful designs in gold, silver, and bronze.
33 Obetumi adi abo adwinni na obetumi asen nnua nso; nokware mu, ɔwɔ ɔdom akyɛde bebree.
He can cut (jewels/valuable stones) and enclose them [in tiny gold frames]. He can carve things from wood and do other skilled work.
34 Na Onyankopɔn ama ɔno ne Oholiab a ɔyɛ Ahisamak a ofi Dan abusuakuw mu babarima ɔdom akyɛde a wɔnam so kyerɛ afoforo ade.
Yahweh has also given to him and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.
35 Onyankopɔn ama wɔn baanu akyɛde sononko sɛ adwumfo, duadwumfo, adenwenfo a wotumi nwen nneɛma a ɛyɛ fɛ gu ntama pa a ɛyɛ tuntum, bibiri ne koogyan mu. Wonim saa adwinne yi nyinaa di ma ɛboro so.
He has given to them the ability to do all kinds of work that is done by craftsmen—those who create artistic things, those who make fine white linen, those who embroider designs using blue or purple or red yarn/thread, and those who make other cloth. They are able to do many [HYP] kinds of skillful work.
