1 Ɔhene Ahasweros hyɛɛ sɛ wontua tow wɔ nʼaheman mu, a mpo wɔn a wɔwɔ mpoano akyirikyiri no nyinaa ka ho.

And king Achashverosh imposed a tribute upon the land, and the isles of the sea.

2 Ne mmaninyɛ ne Mordekai akunini nneyɛe ne sɛnea ɔhene pagyaw no no nyinaa no, wɔankyerɛw wɔ Media ne Persia ahemfo abakɔsɛm mu ana?

And all the acts of his strength and of his might, and the exposition of the greatness of Mordecai, wherewith the king made him great, behold they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia.

3 Yudani Mordekai bɛyɛɛ ɔmanpanyin a ne tumi di ɔhene Ahasweros ankasa de akyi. Na odi mu wɔ Yudafo no mu. Na wobu no yiye, efisɛ na ne nkurɔfo yiyedi yɛ nʼahiasɛm. Na ɔne ahemfi hɔfo nyinaa tenaa yiye.

For Mordecai the Jew was the second in rank after king Achashverosh, and great among the Jews, and acceptable to the multitude of his brethren, a promoter of good to his people, and speaking peace to all its seed.
