1 Saa krataa yi fi me Paulo a Onyankopɔn fi ne pɛ mu ayɛ me Kristo Yesu somafo no nkyɛn, Merekyerɛw akɔma ahotefo a wɔte Efeso, Kristo Yesu mu agyidifo:
Pavl an Apostle of Jesvs Christ by the will of God, to the Saints, which are at Ephesus, and to ye faithfull in Christ Iesus:
2 Adom ne asomdwoe a efi yɛn Agya Onyankopɔn ne Awurade Yesu Kristo no nka mo.
Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
3 Momma yɛnna Onyankopɔn a ɔyɛ yɛn Awurade Yesu Kristo Agya no ase, efisɛ ɔnam Kristo so de honhom mu nhyira a efi ɔsoro abrɛ yɛn.
Blessed be God, and the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ, which hath blessed vs with all spirituall blessing in heauenly thinges in Christ,
4 Ansa na Onyankopɔn bɛbɔ wiase no, ɔdɔɔ yɛn na oyii yɛn wɔ Kristo mu sɛ yɛbɛyɛ kronkron a mfomso biara nni yɛn ho wɔ nʼani so. Ofi ɔdɔ mu
As hee hath chosen vs in him, before the foundation of the worlde, that we should be holy, and without blame before him in loue:
5 hyɛ too hɔ se, ne pɛ mu no, ɔnam Yesu Kristo so de yɛn bɛyɛ ne mma,
Who hath predestinate vs, to be adopted through Iesus Christ in him selfe, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 de akamfo nʼadom a ɛdɔɔso a ɔde akyɛ yɛn kwa wɔ ne Dɔba no mu no.
To the prayse of the glory of his grace, wherewith he hath made vs freely accepted in his beloued,
7 Ne mu na yenya ogye a efi ne mogya mu. Ne mu na yenya bɔnefakyɛ nso, sɛnea Onyankopɔn adom mmoroso a
By whom we haue redemption through his blood, euen the forgiuenes of sinnes, according to his rich grace:
8 ɔde nyansa ne ntease nyinaa hwie guu yɛn so no te.
Whereby he hath bene aboundant toward vs in all wisedome and vnderstanding,
9 Onyankopɔn nam nea Kristo yɛe no so ada nʼanwonwakwan no adi akyerɛ yɛn sɛ
And hath opened vnto vs the mysterie of his will according to his good pleasure, which he had purposed in him,
10 bere a wahyɛ no, ɔbɛboaboa abɔde nyinaa ano, nea ɛwɔ ɔsoro ne nea ɛwɔ asase so ahyɛ ɔbaako a ɔne Kristo no ase.
That in the dispensation of the fulnesse of the times, he might gather together in one all things, both which are in heauen, and which are in earth, euen in Christ:
11 Onyankopɔn yɛ nea ɔpɛ bere biara. Ɛno nti na ɔnam Kristo so paw yɛn fii wiase mfiase,
In whom also we are chosen when we were predestinate according to ye purpose of him, which worketh all things after the counsell of his owne will,
12 sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a yɛn a yedii kan nyaa anidaso wɔ Kristo mu no bɛyɛ nkamfo ahyɛ no anuonyam.
That we, which first trusted in Christ, should be vnto the praise of his glorie:
13 Saa ara na ɛte wɔ mo ho nso. Bere a motee nokwasɛm a ɛyɛ asɛmpa a ɛmaa mo nkwagye no, mugyee Kristo dii. Wɔde bɔhyɛ Honhom Kronkron no hyɛɛ mo nsow wɔ ne mu.
In whom also ye haue trusted, after that ye heard the worde of trueth, euen the Gospel of your saluation, wherein also after that ye beleeued, ye were sealed with the holy Spirite of promise,
14 Honhom no ma yɛn awerehyɛmu sɛ wɔde nea Onyankopɔn de asie ama ne nkurɔfo no bɛma yɛn. Afei yɛbɛde yɛn ho na wɔbɛkamfo Onyankopɔn ahyɛ no anuonyam.
Which is the earnest of our inheritance, for the redemption of that libertie purchased vnto the prayse of his glory.
15 Esiane eyi nti, efi bere a metee gyidi a mowɔ wɔ Awurade Yesu mu ne ɔdɔ a modɔ Onyankopɔn nkurɔfo no,
Therefore also after that I heard of the faith, which ye haue in the Lord Iesus, and loue toward all the Saints,
16 minnyaee aseda a mede ma Onyankopɔn wɔ mo ho no da. Mekae mo wɔ me mpaebɔ mu,
I cease not to giue thankes for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
17 na mibisa yɛn Awurade Yesu Kristo Nyankopɔn, anuonyam Agya no se ɔmma mo Honhom Kronkron no a ɔbɛma mo nyansa na wada Onyankopɔn adi akyerɛ mo, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a mubehu no.
That the God of our Lord Iesus Christ, that Father of glory, might giue vnto you the Spirit of wisedome, and reuelation through the acknowledging of him,
18 Mesrɛ sɛ mo adwene mu mmue na munhu ne hann no, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a mubenya anidaso a ɛno nti ɔfrɛɛ mo no, ne ahonya a ɛwɔ agyapade kronkron a ɛwɔ hɔ ma ahotefo no,
That the eyes of your vnderstanding may be lightened, that ye may knowe what the hope is of his calling, and what the riches of his glorious inheritance is in the Saints,
19 ne ne tumi a ɛso na biribiara ne no nsɛ ma yɛn a yegye di no. Ɛyɛ saa tumi nwonwaso no ara na ɔdaa no adi
And what is the exceeding greatnesse of his power toward vs, which beleeue, according to the working of his mightie power,
20 bere a onyan Kristo fii awufo mu na ɔde no tenaa ne nifa so wɔ ɔsoro ahemman no mu no.
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his right hand in the heauenly places,
21 Saa tumi yi korɔn sen mpanyinni ne tumidi, ahoɔden ne kɛseyɛ, ne dibea biara a wotumi de ma saa bere yi ne bere a ɛbɛba no mu. (aiōn g165)
Farre aboue al principalitie, and power, and might, and domination, and euery Name, that is named, not in this world only, but also in that that is to come, (aiōn g165)
22 Onyankopɔn de biribiara hyɛɛ Kristo nan ase, na ɔde no ayɛ nneɛma nyinaa ti ama asafo no,
And hath made all things subiect vnder his feete, and hath giuen him ouer all things to be the head to the Church,
23 a ɛne ne nipadua. Ɔno ne nea ɔhyɛ ade nyinaa ma wɔ akwan nyinaa mu.
Which is his body, euen the fulnesse of him that filleth all in all things.
