< 5 Mose 33 >

1 Eyi ne nhyira a Onyankopɔn nipa Mose de hyiraa Israelfo no ansa na ɔrewu:
And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses, the man of God, blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 Ose, “Awurade fi Sinai bae ofi Seir baa wɔn so; ɔhran fi Paran bepɔw so. Ɔde akronkronfo pii bae fi anafo fam ne mmepɔw nsian so.
And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them: he shone forth from mount Paran, and he came from among myriads of saints; from his right hand he gave a fiery law unto them.
3 Nokware ni, wo na wodɔ nnipa no, akronkronfo nyinaa wɔ wo nsam. Wɔn nyinaa kotow wo nan ase, na wonya nkyerɛkyerɛ fi wo hɔ,
Yea, thou also lovedst the tribes; all their saints were in thy hand; and they, prostrate before thy feet, received thy words.
4 mmara a Mose de maa yɛn no; Yakob nkurɔfo agyapade.
“The law which Moses commanded us, is the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.”
5 Ɔyɛɛ ɔhene wɔ Yeshurun bere a nnipa no ntuanofo hyiae, wɔne Israel mmusuakuw no.
Thus became he king in Yeshurun, when the heads of the people were assembled, as one the tribes of Israel.
6 “Ma Ruben nya nkwa na onwu, na mma ne nkurɔfo so nhuan.”
May Reuben live, and not die; and may not his men be few.
7 Na ɔkaa eyi faa Yuda ho: “Tie, Awurade, tie Yuda sufrɛ; fa no brɛ ne nkurɔfo. Ɔde nʼankasa nsa bɔ ne ho ban. Ao, yɛ ne boafo tia nʼatamfo!”
And this is [the blessing] of Judah, and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let the power of his hands contend for him; and be thou a help to him from his adversaries.
8 Asɛm a ɔka faa Lewi abusuakuw ho: “Awurade, wode ade kronkron ama wʼasomfo nokwafo Lewifo. Wosɔɔ wɔn hwɛe wɔ Masa wɔne wɔn koe wɔ Meriba asu ho.
And of Levi he said, Thy Thummim and thy Urim are with thy holy man, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
9 Lewifo tiee wʼasɛm bɔɔ wʼapam no ho ban. Wodii wo nokware sen sɛnea wodii wɔn awofo, abusuafo ne wɔn mma nokware.
Who said of his father and of his mother, I have not seen him; and who did not acknowledge his brothers, nor regarded his own children; for they observe thy word, and thy covenant they keep.
10 Afei, ma wɔnkyerɛ Yakob wo mmara no. Ma wɔmfa wo nkyerɛkyerɛ no mma Israelfo. Wɔde aduhuam bɛba wʼanim Abɛbɔ ɔhyew afɔre wɔ afɔremuka so.
They shall teach thy ordinances unto Jacob, and thy law unto Israel: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt-sacrifice upon thy altar.
11 Hyira Lewifo, Ao Awurade na ma wɔn nsa ano nnwuma nsɔ wʼani. Bubu wɔn atamfo; bɔ wɔn atamfo hwe fam a wɔnsɔre bio.”
Bless, O Lord, his substance, and receive favorably the work of his hands: crush the loins of those that rise up against him, and those that hate him, that they cannot rise again.
12 Asɛm a Mose ka faa Benyamin abusuakuw ho: “Ma Awurade dɔ nnye ntin wɔ Benyamin nkurɔfo mu, efisɛ ɔbɔ wɔn ho ban daa nyinaa, na nea Awurade dɔ no no nhome wɔ ne nwini ase daa.”
And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord [is he], he shall dwell in safety by him: he will shield him all the day long, and between his shoulders will he dwell.
13 Asɛm a Mose ka faa Yosef mmusuakuw ho: “Awurade mfa ne sorosoro bosu a ɛsom bo ne bun mu nsu a efi asase ase no, nhyira wɔn nsase.
And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, through the precious gift of heaven, through the dew, and through the deep that coucheth beneath,
14 Ɔmfa ne nnepa efi owia mu ba ne adonne a ebetumi apue afi ɔsram so;
And through the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and through the precious things put forth by the moon,
15 ne nnɔbae pa a efi tete mmepɔw mu ne nea abu so wɔ nkoko a etim hɔ daa mu
And through the best things of the ancient mountains, and through the precious things of the everlasting hills,
16 ne akyɛde a ɛso nni a efi asase ne ne mayɛ mu, ne adom a efi nea na ɔte nwura a ɛhyew mu no. Saa nhyira yi nyinaa mmra Yosef ti so, nea ɔyɛ ne nuanom mu ɔheneba no anintɔn mu.
And through the precious things of the earth and its fulness, and through the goodwill of him that dwelt in the thorn-bush: may this blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the head of him that was separated from his brothers.
17 Yosef sɛ nantwinini a ɔyɛ abakan wɔ ahenni mu. Ne ahoɔden te sɛ ɔtrɔm mmɛn. Ɔde bɛwowɔ aman no, wɔn a wɔwɔ asase ano no mpo. Eyinom ne Efraim mpem du du no; eyinom ne Manase mpempem no.”
His first-born steer is adorned with glory, and his horns are like the horns of reem; with them shall he push nations together to the ends of the earth: and they are the myriads of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Menasseh.
18 Asɛm a Mose ka faa Sebulon ne Isakar mmusuakuw ho: “Sebulon asefo, munni anigye wɔ mo adifi mu. Isakar asefo, munni anigye wɔ mo ntamadan mu.
And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
19 Wɔbɛfrɛ nnipa ahorow akɔ bepɔw no so kɔbɔ trenee afɔre wɔ hɔ; wobefi po mu adenya mmoroso mu ato pon afi ademude a ahintaw wɔ nwea mu.”
They will call the tribes unto the mountain; there will they offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they will suck the abundance of the seas, and the treasures hid in the sand.
20 Asɛm a Mose ka faa Gad abusuakuw ho: “Nhyira nka obi a ɔtrɛw Gad mantam mu! Gad te hɔ sɛ gyata a ɔretetew abasa anaa eti.
And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: like a lioness lieth he down, and teareth off the arm with the crown of the head.
21 Gad nkurɔfo paw asase pa no maa wɔn ho; ɔkannifo kyɛfa na wɔde maa wɔn. Bere a nkurɔfo no mpanyimfo hyiae no, wɔyɛɛ Awurade atɛntrenee apɛde no, ne nʼatemmu a ɛfa Israelfo ho no.”
And he provided the first part for himself, because there is the field of the law-giver, of the hidden; and he went forth at the head of the people: he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel.
22 Asɛm a Mose ka faa Dan abusuakuw ho: “Dan yɛ gyata ba a, ɔrepue afi Basan.”
And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp, that leapeth forth from Bashan.
23 Asɛm a Mose ka faa Naftali abusuakuw ho: “Naftali wɔ adom bebree na Awurade nhyira ayɛ wo ma; ɔtare no anafo fam bɛyɛ wo kyɛfa.”
And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of the Lord, take thou possession of the west and the south.
24 Asɛm a Mose ka faa Aser abusuakuw ho: “Mma no mu nea wɔahyira no koraa ne Aser; wɔmma ne nuanom mpɛ nʼasɛm, na ɔmfa ngo nguare nʼanan ase.
And of Asher he said, More than [all] the children be Asher blessed: he shall be the most favored of his brethren, and bathe his foot in oil.
25 Wʼapon ho nkyerewa nyɛ dade ne kɔbere mfrafrae; wʼahoɔden ne wo nkwanna bɛsae so.
Iron and copper shall be thy bolts; and as thy [younger] days so shall thy old age be.
26 “Onyankopɔn biara nni hɔ sɛ Yeshurun Nyankopɔn; a ɔnam ɔsorosoro ne nʼahenni mu mununkum so ba bɛboa wo.
There is none like unto the God of Yeshurun, who rideth to help thee upon the heavens, and in his excellency upon the skies.
27 Onyankopɔn a ɔwɔ hɔ daa yɛ wo guankɔbea; nea ɛwɔ ase no ne abasa a ɛwɔ hɔ daa no. Ɔbɛpam wʼatamfo afi wʼanim; ɔbɛka se, ‘Sɛe wɔn!’
Thy refuge is the eternal God, and here beneath, the everlasting arms; and he thrust out the enemy from before thee; and he said, Destroy.
28 Enti, Israel bɛtena ase dwoodwoo; Yakob benya bammɔ wɔ asase a atoko ne nsa foforo wɔ so, faako a ɔsoro bosu gugu.
And then dwelt Israel in safety, alone, the fountain of Jacob; in a land of corn and wine; also its heavens shall drop down dew.
29 Nhyira nka mo, Israel!
Happy art thou, O Israel! who is like unto thee, O people, saved by the Lord, the Shield of thy help, and who is the Sword of thy excellency! and thy enemies shall fawn upon thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high-places.
