Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people and said, “Keep all the commandments that I command you today.

On the day when you will pass over the Jordan to the land that Yahweh your God is giving you, you must set up some large stones and plaster them with plaster.
3 Sɛ mutwa Yordan kɔ asase a Awurade, mo Nyankopɔn no, de rema mo no so, asase a ɛwo ne nufusu resen so no so a, monkyerɛw mmara no nyinaa ngu so sɛnea Awurade, mo agyanom Nyankopɔn, hyɛɛ mo bɔ no.
You must write on them all the words of this law when you have passed over; that you may go into the land that Yahweh your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh, the God of your ancestors, has promised you.
4 Na sɛ mutwa Yordan a, monhyehyɛ abo yi wɔ Ebal bepɔw so sɛnea merehyɛ mo nnɛ yi na momfa akaadoo nsra ho.
When you have passed over the Jordan, set up these stones that I am commanding you about today, on Mount Ebal, and plaster them with plaster.

There you must build an altar to Yahweh your God, an altar of stones; but you must raise no iron tool to work the stones.

You must build the altar of Yahweh your God of unworked stones; you must offer burnt offerings on it to Yahweh your God,
7 Mommɔ asomdwoe afɔre nso wɔ so na momfa anigye nnidi wɔ hɔ wɔ Awurade, mo Nyankopɔn no, anim.
and you will sacrifice fellowship offerings and will eat there; you will rejoice before Yahweh your God.
8 Monkyerɛw mmara no mu nhyehyɛe nyinaa pɛpɛɛpɛ ngu abo a wɔde akaadoo asra ho no so.”
You will write on the stones all the words of this law very plainly.”
9 Afei, Mose ne Lewifo asɔfo kasa kyerɛɛ Israelfo no se, “Israel, monyɛ komm na muntie! Nnɛ, moabɛyɛ Awurade, mo Nyankopɔn no, manfo.
Moses and the priests, the Levites, spoke to all Israel and said, “Be silent and listen, Israel: Today you have become the people of Yahweh your God.
10 Monyɛ osetie mma Awurade, mo Nyankopɔn no, na munni ne mmara ne nʼahyɛde a mede rema mo nnɛ yi so.”
You must therefore obey the voice of Yahweh your God and obey his commandments and statutes that I am commanding you today.”

Moses commanded the people the same day and said,

“These tribes must stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people after you have passed over the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
13 Ruben, Gad, Aser, Sebulon, Dan ne Naftali mmusuakuw nso nnyina Ebal bepɔw so nnome.
These are the tribes that must stand on Mount Ebal to pronounce curses: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14 Lewifo nteɛteɛ mu nworo ngu nnipa a wɔwɔ Israel nyinaa so se:
The Levites will answer and say to all the men of Israel in a loud voice:
15 “Nnome nka onipa a ɔbɛyɛ ohoni a wɔasen anaa nea wɔagu de ahyɛ kokoa mu. Saa ahoni, adwumfo nsa ano nnwuma yi yɛ Awurade akyiwade.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who makes a carved or cast figure, an abomination to Yahweh, the work of the hands of a craftsman, and who sets it up in secret.' Then all the people must answer and say, 'Amen.'
16 “Nnome nka obiara a obebu nʼagya anaa ne na animtiaa.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who dishonors his father or his mother.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
17 “Nnome nka obiara a opia ɔhye nam so bɔ ne yɔnko korɔn.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who removes his neighbor's landmark.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
18 “Nnome nka obiara a ɔma onifuraefo fom kwan.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who makes the blind to wander away from the road.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
19 “Nnome nka obiara a osisi ahɔho, nyisaa ne akunafo.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who uses force to take away the justice due to a foreigner, fatherless, or widow.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
20 “Nnome nka obiara a ɔne nʼagya yere bɛda, efisɛ wagu nʼagya mpa ho fi.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who lies with his father's wife, because he has taken away his father's rights.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
21 “Nnome nka obiara a ɔne aboa bɛda.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who sleeps with any kind of beast.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
22 “Nnome nka obiara a ɔne ne nuabea bɛda, sɛ ɔyɛ nʼagya babea anaa ne na babea.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father, or with the daughter of his mother.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
23 “Nnome nka obiara a ɔne nʼasebea bɛda.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who sleeps with his mother-in-law.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
24 “Nnome nka obiara a obekum ɔfoforo wɔ kokoa mu.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who kills his neighbor secretly.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
25 “Nnome nka obiara a ogye apaade, kum onipa a ɔnyɛɛ bɔne biara.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
26 “Nnome nka obiara a wanni mmara nsɛm yi so na wannye anto mu.” Na ɔman no nyinaa begye so se, “Amen!”
'May the man be cursed who does not confirm the words of this law, that he will obey them.' Then all the people must say, 'Amen.'
