< Kolosefo 3 >
1 Wɔanyan mo ne Kristo aba nkwa mu. Afei munnwen ɔsoro nneɛma ho, faako a Kristo te, Onyankopɔn nifa so, di hene no.
IF ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Saa nneɛma no na momma mo adwene nkɔ so, na ɛnyɛ asase yi so nneɛma.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 Efisɛ moawu na wɔde mo nkwa ne Kristo ahintaw wɔ Onyankopɔn mu.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 Na sɛ Kristo a ɔyɛ mo nkwa no ba a, mo ne no bɛba wɔ nʼanuonyam mu.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5 Munyi wiase akɔnnɔ te sɛ aguamammɔ, afideyɛ, bɔne, ne anibere a ɛyɛ abosonsom no mfi mo abrabɔ mu.
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 Eyinom nti Onyankopɔn abufuw reba.
For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7 Bere bi a atwam no, esiane mo akɔnnɔ nti na mobɔ saa bra yi.
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 Afei munnyae saa nneyɛe yi nyinaa: abufuw, bɔnepɛ, ne ɔtan. Monnyeyaw obi anaa mommma kasa a ɛho ntew mmfi mo anom.
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Munnnidi atoro nkyerɛ mo ho mo ho, efisɛ moatow nipadua dedaw ne ne su no akyene
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 de nipadua foforo asi anan mu. Moayɛ nnipa afoforo a daa Onyankopɔn a ɔbɔɔ mo no resakra mo wɔ ne suban so, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a Onyankopɔn ho nimdeɛ bɛhyɛ mo ma.
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Esiane saa nti, amanamanmufo ne Yudafo, twetiatwafo ne momonotoyɛ, awudifo, nkoa ne wɔn a wɔde wɔn ho no nni hɔ bio. Kristo wɔ biribiara mu. Kristo te yɛn nyinaa mu.
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Moyɛ Onyankopɔn nkurɔfo. Ɔpɛ mo asɛm nti na oyii mo sɛ ne de, enti monyɛ timmɔbɔ, ayamye, mommrɛ mo ho ase, munnwo na monyɛ abodwokyɛre.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Mommoaboa mo ho mo ho na momfa mo ho mo ho mfomso nkyekyɛ mo ho mo ho. Momfa nkyɛ sɛnea Awurade de kyɛ mo no.
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 Eyi nyinaa akyi no, momfa ɔdɔ a ɛde koroyɛ ba no nka mo abrabɔ ho.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 Momma Kristo asomdwoe no ntena mo koma mu. Saa asomdwoe yi ho na wɔafrɛ mo nyinaa aba Kristo nipadua koro mu. Monyɛ nnipa a wɔwɔ ayeyi.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Kristo asɛm no ne mu nnepa nyinaa ntena mo koma mu. Momfa nyansa nkyerɛkyerɛ. Monto asanku so nnwom ne ayeyi nnwom ne honhom mu nnwom. Mumfi mo koma mu nto aseda nnwom mma Onyankopɔn.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 Biribiara a moyɛ anaa moka no, monyɛ wɔ Awurade Yesu din mu na momfa ne so nna Agya Onyankopɔn ase.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
18 Ɔyerenom, mommrɛ mo ho ase mma mo kununom sɛnea ɛsɛ wɔ Awurade mu.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
19 Okununom, monnodɔ mo yerenom na monnhyɛ wɔn ahometew.
Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
20 Mma, ade nyinaa mu, muntie mo awofo asɛm na eyi na ɛsɔ Onyankopɔn ani.
Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
21 Agyanom, munnyi mo mma abufuw na ammu wɔn aba mu.
Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
22 Asomfo, muntie mo wuranom asɛm wɔ ade nyinaa mu. Ɛnyɛ sɛ wɔn ani tua mo nti na ɛsɛ sɛ moyɛ na wɔpene mo, na mmom esiane sɛ mudi Awurade ni no nti, momfa koma pa nyɛ.
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
23 Biribiara a moyɛ no, momfa mo koma nyinaa nyɛ na momfa no sɛ moreyɛ ama Awurade na monnyɛ mma nnipa.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24 Monkae sɛ Awurade bɛkyɛ mo so ade. Mo nsa bɛka ade a ɔde asie ama ne nkurɔfo no bi. Kristo ne owura a mosom no.
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25 Na obiara a ɔyɛ nea ɛnteɛ no, bɔne a ɔyɛ no so akatua na obenya a nhwɛanim biara nni mu.
But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
