< Amos 9 >
1 Mihuu Awurade sɛ ogyina afɔremuka no ho, na ɔkae se, “Bɔ Asɔredan no afadum no atifi na mma ne fapem no nwosow. Munnwiriw ngu nnipa no nyinaa so; wɔn a aka no mede afoa bekunkum wɔn. Ɔbaako mpo rentumi nguan, obiara rennya ne ho sɔnn.
I saw the LORD standing upon the altar: and he said, Strike the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that flees of them shall not flee away, and he that escapes of them shall not be delivered.
2 Mpo sɛ wotu fam kɔ ɔda mu a, hɔ na me nsa bɛtwe wɔn afi aba. Mpo sɛ wɔforo kɔ ɔsoro a, hɔ na meyi wɔn afi aba fam. (Sheol )
Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: (Sheol )
3 Mpo sɛ wɔkɔtetɛw bepɔw Karmel atifi a, hɔ na metiw wɔn akɔkyere wɔn aba. Mpo sɛ wɔde wɔn ho sie me wɔ po ase a, hɔ na mɛhyɛ ɔwɔ no ama wakɔkeka wɔn.
And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
4 Mpo sɛ wɔn atamfo de wɔn kɔ nnommum mu a, hɔ na mɛhyɛ afoa akunkum wɔn. “Megyen mʼani ahwɛ wɔn. Mede ɔsɛe bɛba wɔn so na meremmoa wɔn.”
And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.
5 Awurade, Asafo Awurade, Ɔno na ɔde ne nsa ka asase ma ɛnan, ma wɔn a wɔte so nyinaa twa adwo. Asase no nyinaa ma ne ho so te sɛ Nil na ɛtwe te sɛ Misraim asubɔnten.
And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that touches the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
6 Ɔno na osi nʼahemfi a ɛkorɔn wɔ ɔsoro na ɔto ne fapem wɔ asase so. Ɔno na ɔboaboa po mu nsu ano na ohwie gu asase so. Awurade ne ne din!
It is he that builds his stories in the heaven, and has founded his troop in the earth; he that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.
7 “Mo Israelfo, mo ho hia me sen Etiopiafo?” Sɛnea Awurade se ni. Manyi Israelfo amfi Misraim, ne Filistifo amfi Kaftor, ne Aramfo nso amfi Kir ana?
Are all of you not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? says the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
8 “Ampa ara Otumfo Awurade ani wɔ nnebɔne ahenni no so. Mɛpepa no afi asase ani, nanso merensɛe Yakobfi korakora,” sɛnea Awurade se ni.
Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD.
9 “Na mɛhyɛ, na mɛwosow Israelfi, wɔ amanaman nyinaa mu, sɛnea wohuhuw atoko so wɔ huhuamoa mu na aba fua mpo ntɔ fam no.
For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
10 Nnebɔneyɛfo a wɔwɔ me nkurɔfo mu nyinaa bɛtotɔ wɔ afoa ano, wɔn a wɔka se, ‘Amanehunu rento yɛn anaa ɛremma yɛn so da no.’
All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
11 “Saa da no, mɛsan aba abesi “Dawid fi a abubu no bio. Mesiesie ne mmeae a asɛesɛe no, na masi no sɛnea na ɛte no,
In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
12 na wɔafa Edom nkae no ne amanaman a me din da wɔn so.” Awurade a waka no, ɔno na ɔbɛyɛ eyinom nyinaa.
That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, says the LORD that does this.
13 “Nna no reba,” sɛnea Awurade se ni, “A nnɔbae no bɛba ntɛm ama otwafo no, na bobe no abu so ama nea otiatia nsakyiamoa no so no. Nsa foforo bɛsosɔ afi mmepɔw no so na ateɛ afi nkoko no nyinaa so.
Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that sows seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
14 Mede me nkurɔfo Israel nnommum bɛsan aba. “Wɔbɛsan asiesie nkuropɔn a asɛe no na wɔatena mu. Wɔbɛyɛ bobe nturo na wɔanom mu nsa; wɔbɛyɛ mfikyifuw na wɔadi so nnuaba.
And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
15 Mede Israelfo bedua wɔn ankasa asase so a wɔrentu bio da mfi asase a mede ama wɔn no so,” sɛnea Awurade, mo Nyankopɔn se ni.
And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, says the LORD your God.
