< 2 Timoteo 3 >
1 Kae saa asɛm yi. Nna a edi akyiri no, mmere no mu bɛyɛ den.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 Nnipa bi bɛyɛ pɛsɛmenkominya, aniberefo, ahohiahiafo ne ahantanfo; wɔbɛyɛ abususɛnkafo, asoɔdenfo wɔ wɔn awofo so; wɔbɛyɛ bonniayɛ na wɔrempɛ nyamesom nso,
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 wɔbɛyɛ atirimɔdenfo, wɔrenhu mmɔbɔ, wɔbɛyɛ nnipa dinsɛefo basabasa ne abufuwfafo, wɔbɛtan wɔn mfɛfo a wɔyɛ nnipa pa no,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 wɔbɛyɛ afatwafo, anuɔdenfo, wɔn a wɔhoran; wɔbɛpɛ anigye sen sɛ wɔdɔ Onyankopɔn.
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Wɔbɛyɛ aniani asomfo a wɔbɛpo tumi a ɛwɔ ɔsom no mu no. Twe wo ho fi saa nnipa no ho.
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 Wɔn mu bi kɔ afi mu kɔhyɛ mmea a wɔn bɔne ama wodi fɔ na akɔnnɔ ahorow bebree hyɛ wɔn so no so;
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 saa mmea no yɛ nnipa a wɔpɛ sɛ wosua nneɛma foforo, nanso wonhu nokware no akyi kwan.
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Sɛnea Yan ne Yambre ne Mose dii asi no, saa ara nso na saa nnipa yi ne nokware di asi. Wɔyɛ nnipa a wɔn adwene asɛe na wonsi hwee wɔ gyidi mu.
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 Wonnya nkɔso biara efisɛ obiara behu wɔn kwasea.
But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men], as theirs also was.
10 Na wo de, woadi me nkyerɛkyerɛ, me suban ne me botae so. Woahu gyidi a mewɔ, me boasetɔ, me dɔ,
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 taa a wɔtaa me ne mʼamanehunu nyinaa. Wunim nsɛm a ɛtotoo me wɔ Antiokia, Ikoniom ne Listra, ne ɔtaa dennen a mitumi gyinaa ano no. Nanso Awurade yii me fii ne nyinaa mu.
Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of [them] all the Lord delivered me.
12 Wɔn a wɔpɛ sɛ wɔde onyamesom pa tena ase wɔ Kristo Yesu mu nyinaa no, wɔbɛtaa wɔn,
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 nanso nnipa bɔne bɛkɔ so asɛe daa na wɔadaadaa afoforo ne wɔn ankasa wɔn ho.
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 Nanso wo de, kɔ so tena ase nokware mu sɛnea wɔkyerɛɛ wo no, na gye di yiye. Wunim wɔn a wusua fii wɔn nkyɛn,
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned [them];
15 na wokae nso sɛ efi wo mmofraase na woahu Kyerɛwsɛm no a etumi ma wuhu nyansa, na ɛma wunya gyidi wɔ Kristo Yesu mu, na egye wo nkwa.
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 Kyerɛwsɛm nyinaa fi Onyankopɔn home mu, na eye ma nkyerɛkyerɛ, atɛnyi, ateɛteɛ ne trenee mu yɛn,
All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a Onyankopɔn nipa bɛyɛ nea wɔasiesie no yiye ama nnwuma pa nyinaa.
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
