But Joram had returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds he'd received fighting against Hazael, king of Aram. So Jehu said, “If you commanders want to make me king, don't let anyone leave town and go and announce it in Jezreel.”
16 Na Yehu kɔtenaa teaseɛnam mu, kɔɔ Yesreel kɔhwehwɛɛ ɔhene Yoram a na wapira da hɔ no. Na Yudahene Ahasia nso wɔ hɔ bi.

So a horseman rode off to meet Jehu, and said, “This is what the king asks: ‘Do you come in peace?’” “What has peace got to do with you?” Jehu replied. “Turn around and follow me.” The watchman reported, “The messenger has reached them, but he's not returning.”
19 Enti ɔhene no somaa ɔpɔnkɔkafo a ɔto so abien. Okoduu wɔn nkyɛn bisae se, “Ɔhene pɛ sɛ ohu sɛ moreba no asomdwoe so ana?” Bio, Yehu bisae se, “Wuhia asomdwoe de ayɛ dɛn Di mʼakyi!”
The king sent out a second horseman. He went up to them and said, “This is what the king asks: ‘Do you come in peace?’” “What has peace got to do with you?” Jehu replied. “Turn around and follow me.”
20 Ɔwɛmfo no teɛɛ mu se, “Ɔpɔnkɔkafo no ahyia wɔn, nanso ɔno nso mma. Ɛbɛyɛ Nimsi babarima Yehu a ɔka ɔpɔnkɔ mmirikatɛntɛ so no.”
The watchman reported, “The messenger has reached them, but he's not returning. The driving looks like the driving of Jehu, son of Nimshi—he's a crazy driver!”
21 Ɔhene Yoram hyɛe se, “Ntɛm, monyɛ me teaseɛnam no krado mma me.” Na Israelhene Yoram ne Yudahene Ahasia tenatenaa wɔn nteaseɛnam mu kohyiaa Yehu. Wohyiaa no wɔ asase a na ɛyɛ Nabot, Yesreelni dea no so.
