< 2 Ahemfo 15 >
1 Bere a Yeroboam a ɔto so abien di ade wɔ Israel no, ne mfe aduonu ason so na Amasia babarima Asaria fii ase dii ade wɔ Yuda.

Sixteen years old, was he when he began to reign, and, fifty-two years, reigned he in Jerusalem, —and, the name of his mother, was Jecholiah, of Jerusalem.
3 Na ɔteɛ wɔ Awurade ani so, sɛnea nʼagya Amasia teɛ no.
And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, —according to all that, Amaziah his father, had done.
4 Wansɛe abosonnan a na nnipa kɔbɔ afɔre, kɔhyew nnuhuam wɔ hɔ no.
Only, the high places, took they not away, —still were the people sacrificing and burning incense in the high places.

And Yahweh smote the king, so that he became a leper, until the day of his death, and dwelt in a lazar-house, —and, Jotham, son of the king, was over the house, judging the people of the land.
6 Na Asaria adedi ho nsɛm nkae ne dwuma a odii nyinaa no, wɔankyerɛw angu Yuda Ahemfo Abakɔsɛm Nhoma no mu ana?
Now, the rest of the story of Azariah, and all that he did, are, they, not written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.
7 Asaria wui no, wosiee no wɔ ne mpanyimfo nkyɛn wɔ Dawid kurow mu. Na ne babarima Yotam na odii nʼade sɛ ɔhene.
And Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers, in the city of David, —and, Jotham his son, reigned, in his stead.
8 Yudahene Asaria dii ade no, ne mfe aduasa awotwe mu no na Yeroboam a ɔto so abien babarima Sakaria nso dii ade Israel wɔ Samaria. Odii ade asram asia.
In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Zechariah son of Jeroboam to reign over Israel, in Samaria, [and he reigned] six months.
9 Ɔyɛɛ bɔne wɔ Awurade ani so, sɛnea nʼagyanom yɛe no. Wamfi ahonisom a Nebat babarima Yeroboam maa Israelfo som no ho.
And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, as did his fathers, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.
10 Na Yabes babarima Salum bɔɔ pɔw de tiaa Sakaria, kum no wɔ bagua mu, dii akongua no.
Then conspired against him, Shallum son of Jabesh, and smote him before the people, and slew him, —and reigned in his stead.
11 Sakaria dwuma a odii nkae no, wɔankyerɛw angu Israel Ahemfo Abakɔsɛm Nhoma no mu ana?
Now, the rest of the story of Zechariah, behold it! written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
12 Enti, Awurade asɛm a ɔka kyerɛɛ, Yehu se, “Wʼasefo na wɔbɛyɛ Israel ahemfo akosi awo ntoatoaso a ɛto so anan” mu no, baa mu.
That, was the word of Yahweh, which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons, to four generations, shall sit on the throne of Israel. And it was so!
13 Yabes babarima Salum bedii Israel so hene no, na ɛyɛ Yudahene Usia adedi mfe aduasa akron mu. Salum dii ade wɔ Samaria ɔsram baako pɛ.
Shallum the son of Jabesh, began to reign, in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah, king of Judah, —for the space of a month in Samaria.
14 Afei, Gadi babarima Menahem fii Tirsa kɔɔ Samaria. Ɔkɔtow hyɛɛ Yabes babarima Salum so kum no, na ɔtenaa akongua no so.
Then came up Menahem son of Gadi, from Tirzah, and entered Samaria, and smote Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, —and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15 Salum ahenni ho nsɛm nkae ne pɔw a ɔbɔe no, wɔankyerɛw angu Israel Ahemfo Abakɔsɛm Nhoma no mu?
Now, the rest of the story of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold them! written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel!
16 Saa bere no mu, Menahem fii Tirsa kɔtoaa Tifsa ne obiara a ɔwɔ hɔ ne ne nkurow nyinaa, efisɛ ɛhɔfo no ampene so sɛ wɔde kurow no bɛma. Okunkum kurow no mu nnipa nyinaa, paapae emu apemfo nyinaa yafunu mu.
Then, Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the boundaries thereof, from Tirzah, because they opened not, therefore he smote them, —all the women therein that were with child, he ripped up.
17 Gadi babarima Menahem fii ase dii Israelhene bere a na Usia adi ade wɔ Yuda ne mfe aduasa akron so. Odii hene wɔ Samaria mfirihyia du.

And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit, all his days.
19 Afei, Asiriahene Pul bedii asase no so. Na Menahem tuaa dwetɛ nkaribo tɔn aduasa ason maa no sɛnea ɔbɛtaa nʼakyi ama nʼahenni no atim.
Pul the king of Assyria came against the land, so Menahem gave unto Pul, a thousand talents of silver, —that his hands might be with him, to confirm the kingdom, in his hand.
20 Menahem nam apoobɔ so gyigyee Israel asikafo no mu biara nkyɛn dwetɛ a ɛkari gram ahannum aduoson de maa Asiriahene. Ɛno nti, Asiriahene ankɔtow anhyɛ Israel so, na wantena asase no so nso.
And Menahem exacted the silver of Israel, of all the mighty men of wealth, to give to the king of Assyria, fifty shekels of silver, of each man, —so the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there, in the land.
21 Na Menahem adedi ho nsɛm nkae ne dwuma a odii nyinaa, wɔankyerɛw angu Israel Ahemfo Abakɔsɛm Nhoma no mu ana?
